People take different attitudes towards the space exploration. Those who in favor of space exploration argue that people should realise how exploring space helps us. However, I maintain that the money should be spent more wisely on what people need.
Firstly, there are many more urgent missions on Earth that require investments, such as global warming, fatal disease and feeding the hungry, which affect the lives of ordinary people.
Secondly, sending astronauts into space can’t be an immediate solution to our planet’s limited resources and increasing population. Instead of trying to find a new home, for the present, it makes more sense to take care of our planet and bettered it.
Finally, exploring space can directly result in quite lots of pollution and be quite risky to our astronauts. Surprisingly, with a number of unsolved mysteries on the earth for us to explore, why do we have to go that far?
In a word, it just does not seem a very wise investment to go to space. We have too many needs here on the earth to be wasting our efforts on space exploration.
