The Zeng Houyi Chime Bells were found from the Zeng Houyi Tomb in Suizhou, Hubei Province in 1978. They are historically important treasure of China.
The Zeng Houyi Chime Bells are hung (悬挂) at three levels and are divided into (划分为) eight groups. There are 19 bells in three groups at the top level, 33 bells in three groups at the middle level and 12 bells in two groups at the bottom level. In addition, there is a single and much larger bell used to change pitch (音高). The bells in each row are different from one another in shape and size.

One of the greatest pleasures for me in life is going to watch a great film at the cinema because it’s a chance for me to get excited and relaxed. There’s nothing better than being lost in a story unless, of course, someone decides to break down the moment.
Whether at a cinema or a huge theater, someone usually decides to treat the place like their own home! There is an accepted way of behaving at the cinema which some people don’t seem to understand.
To start with, some people always turn up late, causing you to rise from your seat to allow them to go past. Then, when you want to enjoy the surround-sound effects, someone begins to enjoy their drinks and popcorn and makes a lot of noise. And what I can’t stand most is people who decide to chat to their friends, sometimes not even about the film.
I’m not alone in this situation. Simon, a film critic (评论家) at the BBC, experienced a “new low” during a film. He says, “The woman in front of me got a mirror out, then her boyfriend got a phone out and used the light on it to allow her to do her make-up!”
Simon has helped to create a list of rules on how moviegoers (电影观众) should behave at the cinema. One of them is no use of mobile phones, and another is not to take your shoes off—the most serious offence (冒犯).
Of course, when we have paid for a ticket, we feel it is our right to relax and enjoy the film in the way we want to, but we mustn’t forget our fellow (同伴) moviegoers who want to enjoy the film, either.
The best choice for anyone wanting to break the rules of cinema manners is to get a DVD and watch it at home. But we all know that the best way to enjoy the art of cinematography is on the big screen. It’s your choice!
What about you? What annoys you about other people at the cinema?
11. Why does the writer enjoy going to the cinema?
A. It makes him feel like being at home.
B. It gives him a moment to get excited and relaxed.
C. He prefers watching the films on big screens with other moviegoers.
D. He wants to enjoy the film.
12. What do the underlined words “turn up” in Paragraph 3 mean?
A. leave B. stand up C. get up D. appear
13. What can’t the writer stand most at a cinema?
A. Chatting to their friends. B. Turning up late.
C. Eating popcorn. D. Having drinks.
14. What is considered by Simon to be the rudest at a cinema?
A. Talking on the mobile phones. B. Chatting to their friends.
C. Taking the shoes off. D. Having drinks and eating popcorn.
15. What is the best title for the text?
A. How to Choose Popular Cinemas B. To Be A Serious Film Critic
C. Mind Cinema Manners D. An Unpleasant Experience

Technology has done our world wonders: from development in medicine to our daily lives. It has undoubtedly changed the way our society works, and how we communicate with one another and ourselves. However, by welcoming technology as part of life, are we losing our ability to create?
Technology provides a new chance for creativity to exist(存在). Through technology, ideas can be set free and come to life. We have the necessary tools for greater possibilities and new solutions. For example, businesses now have the chance to improve themselves more creatively through websites, film advertisements, social media or radio.
However, when we look more closely, it’s easy to notice some disadvantages. For example, many of us depend so much on automated calculations(计算器) rather than taking the time to work it out for ourselves. Another situation is that a lot of people are spending too much time on screens. As a result, they are reducing the chances to come up with their own creations.
Is there a way to find a balance between technology and human creativity? I think so. It is simply a matter of making sure that creativity is not deterred by technology. The first way is to reduce our use of electronic products by setting limits on when, where, and how long we use them, turning off the notice on your phone. Once you become used to these, you will feel surprised how little you think about your phone.
Another wonderful way is to take daily walks in nature. It can help you refresh and keep going. In the long run, a daily walk can not only influence our creativity and imagination but further our physical and mental health. We can also develop our creativity by doing yoga, keeping a diary, or reading.
The actions you choose to take will help change the relationship between creativity and technology for the better. With the right balance, technology can be a good method of improving creativity.
16. Why does the writer ask the underlined question in the beginning?
A. To draw the reader’s attention to the topic. B. To show the writer likes technology.
C. To tell the reader the importance of technology. D. To prove creativity is more important.
17. What’s Paragraph 2 mainly about?
A. The importance of creativity.
B. Good ways to develop technology.
C. The relationship between business and creativity.
D. The good influence that technology has on creativity.
18. The underlined word “deterred” in Paragraph 4 probably means ________.
A. protected B. controlled C. attacked D. prevented
19. The structure of the passage may be ________.
A. B. C. D.
20. The writer probably agrees that ________.
A. limiting the use of our phones can help us develop creativity
B. turning off the notice on the phone will make people worried
C. spending time on screens is the easiest way to keep people happy
D. a daily walk does more good to physical health than to mental health

例文:
How to be a self-disciplined student
Self-discipline plays an important role in our life. We must be strict with ourselves in everyday life.
In my opinion, self-discipline is the key to success. It helps us form good habits, study more efficiently, and realize our dreams. At school, we should listen to the teachers carefully, hand in homework on time, and follow school rules. At home, we should manage our time well. It is a good habit to make a daily plan and finish our homework before playing. Besides study, proper entertainment is also necessary. In our spare time, we can read more books, do sports like running, watch movies, or listen to music to relax.
Let’s try our best to be self-disciplined students and have a wonderful future!
