Part 1 核心词汇精讲

一、outgoing / serious / hard-working / funny / quiet（性格形容词）

outgoing（外向的） serious（严肃的） hard-working（勤奋的）

funny（滑稽的） quiet（安静的） smart（聪明的）

例句：She is more outgoing than her sister.

         He is very hard-working. He studies all day.

         Tom is a funny boy. He makes us laugh.

 

【当堂练】选词填空（outgoing / serious / hard-working / funny）：

(1) She always tells jokes. She is very ______.

(2) He never plays. He is always ______.

 

二、the same as / be different from / be similar to（异同表达）

the same as（和...一样） be different from（和...不同） be similar to（和...相似）

例句：My schoolbag is the same as yours.

         She is different from her twin sister.

         My ideas are similar to his.

三、be good at / do well in（擅长）

be good at doing sth = do well in doing sth（擅长做某事）

例句：He is good at playing basketball. = He does well in playing basketball.

         She is good at English.  She gets good grades.

四、care about / worry about / talk about（关注与担心）

care about（关心，在意） worry about（担心）

talk about（谈论）

例句：She cares about others very much.

         Don't worry about me. I'm fine.

         They are talking about their vacation.

五、比较级句型深化 & 修饰词

A + be + 比较级 + than + B（A比B更...）

修饰比较级的副词：much（得多）/ a little（一点）/ even（甚至）/ far（...得多）

例句：He is much taller than me.

         This book is a little more interesting than that one.

六、both / all / also（两者都/三者都/也）

both（两者都）：We both like sports. = Both of us like sports.

all（三者或以上都）：We all love music.

also（也，放在be后/实义前）：She is also tall.

例句：We both have black hair.  /  They are all in the same class.
