A speech can also include a call to action by encouraging people to do something. Hook: A “hook” is like a magnet at the start of a speech. It grabs the audience’s attention — make them think “Wow, I want to hear more!” Call to action: At the end, the speaker says “Hey, you! Do something!”, like asking people to join, help, or change.
