根据Admission Fees (2026 Season) 部分中的“Family/Group $ 17.00 Up to 7 people in one vehicle(家庭/团体 17美元 一辆车最多7人)”可知,两个成年人(40岁和42岁)和三个孩子(5岁、10岁和15岁)属于家庭/团体票,7人以内收费17美元。故选A项。
根据Important Guidelines部分中的“Pool floaties : Items inflated with air (loungers, inner tubes, blow - up furniture) are NOT permitted. Swimming aids for small children (water wings, life jackets) ARE allowed with adult supervision.(泳池漂浮物:充气物品(躺椅、内胎、充气家具)不允许。
B
Before moving to India, I had always approached job hunting with a simple and clear mind. In my home country, job ads usually listed not only what was required, but also what was offered, such as benefits, main duties, and pay ranges. This openness allowed job seekers to aim for positions that fit their skills and hopes. Besides, early talks by phone or email helped find any mismatches early, saving time for both sides. It was basically a process where information moved in two ways.
But the job market in India works quite differently. Job openings here are often posted with unclear words, giving little information about the real work and seldom showing pay levels. As a result, job hunters have to send in dozens of applications for jobs only loosely connected to their field. This would not be a problem if employers gave clear answers. I do not ask for long explanations. A short note on what the job involves and what it pays would stop wasted efforts on both sides.
As a person applying for a posted job, I tried to get clear facts about what they needed and what they could pay. I made it very clear that I would not take any job that failed to meet my needs, and I was told this was fine before my interview.
But I knew the trip was wasted after about four minutes. The manager spent the next ten minutes typing numbers hard into a calculator before saying my pay hopes were beyond their budget, though he must have known this before I came. All this is because face-to-face talks are thought more important than truly listening to what job hunters say. I am not so much angry that they waste my time, but that they waste their own time for no good reason. Those at interviews do not learn about the job, but only find out how much patience they have.
4.What does the author say about job hunting in his home country?
A.It was an individual information gathering.
B.It was a two-way information exchange.
C.It was characterized by give-and-take.
D.It required many face-to-face meetings.
5.What is the writing purpose of paragraph 2?
A.To recommend Indian job websites.
B.To compare salaries in two countries.
C.To show problems with unclear job ads.
D.To explain the reason for the job move.
6.What did the author do before going to the interview?
A.He sent many applications.
B.He discussed pay with the manager.
C.He studied the company’s finance.
D.He confirmed his needs were acceptable.
7.What is the best title for the text?
A.My First Job in a New Country
B.A Failed Interview Experience
C.Differences in Interview Cultures
D.Silence Costs More Than Words
根据第一段中“In my home country, job ads usually listed not only what was required, but also what was offered, such as benefits, main duties, and pay ranges. This openness allowed job seekers to aim for positions that fit their skills and hopes. Besides, early talks by phone or email helped find any mismatches early, saving time for both sides. It was basically a process where information moved in two ways. (在我的祖国,招聘启事通常不仅写明任职要求,也会标注薪资福利、主要工作职责与薪资范围。这种信息透明,能让求职者对标自身能力与期许选择岗位。此外,前期电话、邮件沟通可尽早排查适配问题,为双方节省时间。这本质是双向信息互通的求职过程。)”可知,作者国家的求职是双向信息交换的过程。
5.推理判断题。根据第二段“But the job market in India works quite differently.
根据第三段“As a person applying for a posted job, I tried to get clear facts about what they needed and what they could pay. I made it very clear that I would not take any job that failed to meet my needs, and I was told this was fine before my interview. (作为一名求职者,我主动核实岗位要求与薪资待遇,明确表示不会接受不符合自身诉求的工作,面试前对方对此并无异议。)”可知,作者面试前已经确认自己的需求是被招聘方接受的。
7.主旨大意题。根据第一段中“Before moving to India, I had always approached job hunting with a simple and clear mind. (移居印度前,我求职心态一向简单明晰。)”并结合全文可知,文章先介绍作者祖国的求职模式,再对比印度招聘市场的不同特点,最后用自身面试经历举例印证两国求职文化的差异,核心是展示差异,选项C“Differences in Interview Cultures (面试文化的差异)”能概括文章主旨,适合作为标题。

Nature possesses an extraordinary healing (治愈的) power that ought not to be underestimated. The “20-minute in the park” theory points out that simply devoting 20 minutes to staying in a park can effectively refresh people’s exhausted minds after long hours of study or work.
But have you ever wondered what qualifications are required to become a nature therapist (疗愈师)? Li Jing, a 55-year-old professional, is a typical practitioner in this emerging yet meaningful occupation.
In 2019, Li accidentally came across online courses on forest therapy. Fueled by her profound passion for nature and psychology, she signed up without hesitation. After over half a year of professional theoretical study and practical training, she obtained a certificate issued by the Chinese Society of Forestry (CSF) and launched her career as a nature therapist in 2021. This occupation was officially included in the national occupational classification system in 2022.
Unlike casual, aimless walks, forest therapy provides a carefully structured and systematic experience, making it far more effective at reducing stress. Li specializes in forest bathing — a traditional practice that engages all five senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. This method helps individuals escape daily pressure and attain profound relaxation.
She usually surveys the forest at least three times beforehand to ensure a quiet environment free from urban noise, with diverse trees that ease mental tiredness and boost their mood. Furthermore, she makes individualized healing plans to meet people’s unique needs. Li once worked with a young woman troubled by overthinking and excessive self-criticism, leaving her anxious. During the therapy session, Li asked her to cover her eyes, keep silent and walk through the forest. “It was magical,” she recalled. “As I walked quietly, touching tree trunks and embracing nature’s beauty, I gradually calmed down.”
Inspired by the positive feedback from her clients, Li has relocated to Yunnan Province, aiming to explore more primitive forests and develop innovative therapy courses in the near future.
8.What can we learn from the “20-minute in the park” theory?
A.Nature contributes to reducing mental pressure. B.Short breaks improve work efficiency greatly.
C.People rely heavily on nature to cure diseases. D.Outdoor activities benefit physical health most.
9.What motivated Li to take up forest therapy training?
A.The timely encouragement from the CSF. B.Her enthusiasm for nature and psychology.
C.The official recognition of the occupation. D.Her former academic training in psychology.
10.What advantage does forest therapy have over ordinary walks?
A.Its strict inspection and safety guarantee. B.Its peaceful natural environment free of noise.
C.Its systematic design and full use of five senses. D.Its combination of physical exercise and relaxation.
11.What is a characteristic of Li’s job?
A.Boosting creative thinking. B.Offering personalized plans.
C.Prioritizing physical recovery. D.Spreading psychology knowledge.
【答案】8.A 9.B 10.C 11.B
根据第一段“The “20-minute in the park” theory points out that simply devoting 20 minutes to staying in a park can effectively refresh people’s exhausted minds after long hours of study or work.(“在公园停留20分钟”这一理论指出,只需将20分钟用于在公园内停留,就能有效缓解人们长时间学习或工作后疲惫的大脑状态)”可知,“在公园散步20分钟”这一理论告诉我们自然环境有助于减轻精神压力。
根据第三段“Fueled by her profound passion for nature and psychology, she signed up without hesitation.(由于她对自然和心理学有着深厚的热情,所以她毫不犹豫地报名参加了)”可知,促使李参加森林疗法培训的原因是她对自然和心理学的热爱。
根据第四段“Unlike casual, aimless walks, forest therapy provides a carefully structured and systematic experience, making it far more effective at reducing stress.(与随意漫无目的地散步不同,森林疗法提供的是一个精心规划且系统化的体验,因此在减轻压力方面效果要好得多)”可知,森林疗法因为其有系统的规划,并充分调动了人的五种感官。
根据第五段“Furthermore, she makes individualized healing plans to meet people’s unique needs.(此外,她会根据每个人的具体情况制定个性化的康复计划,以满足他们的特殊需求)”可知,李的工作提供个性化方案。
D
Polish folk art has been passed down within families and communities and has maintained its vitality over countless generations for centuries, with each area of the country developing its own unique style, technique, and materials.
One of the most recognizable forms is wycinanki, or paper cutting. The most famous regions for wycinanki are Łowicz and Kurpie. In Łowicz, for example, the paper cuttings are quite colorful, featuring complex designs with mainly patterns of flowers, while Kurpie wycinanki is typically made from a single color of paper, often green or red, and focuses on more abstract, geometric patterns. Originally used to decorate the interiors (内部) of homes, wycinanki remains a beloved tradition that represents the beauty and purity of rural life.
Polish folk art isn’t just about paper — it also extends to ceramics. The town of Bolesławiec is famous for its hand-painted pottery. Bolesławiec pottery has distinctive blue and white designs with splashes (色块) of green and red. The combination of tradition and artistry makes Bolesławiec pottery a valued item in Polish households and a popular export around the world.
While much of Poland’s folk art is rooted in the past, many Polish artists draw inspiration from these traditional forms, integrating folk crafts into modern design. Additionally, folk festivals held throughout the year show these traditional crafts, keeping the art forms alive and relevant in the modern era. Folk-inspired art has been popular, connecting the old with the new and introducing Polish folk traditions to a global audience.
Efforts to preserve and promote Polish folk art have been ongoing. Craft workshops, festivals, and exhibitions across Poland provide opportunities for younger generations to learn the skills. For example, the annual Łowicz Folk Festival not only features traditional dance and music but also displays wycinanki, pottery and many other techniques. These events offer a chance to experience Polish folk art.
Polish folk art is more than just a collection of crafts — it’s a living tradition that fuses the past into the present. So, the next time you see a piece of Polish folk art, take a moment to appreciate the centuries of history, culture, and creativity it represents.
12.What may make Łowicz and Kurpie wycinanki differ?
A.Their art value and market demand. B.Their color use and design patterns.
C.Their original uses and symbolic meanings. D.Their creation methods and material choices.
13.Which of the following can best explain the popularity of Bolesławiec ceramics?
A.Handmade processes. B.Bright color combinations.
C.Unique decorative patterns. D.Traditional and artistic features.
14.What is the author’s purpose in mentioning the Łowicz Folk Festival?
A.To encourage the youth to take part.
B.To show the efforts to preserve folk art.
C.To call for more protection and spread.
D.To stress the importance of firsthand experiences.
15.What does the underlined word “fuses” in the last paragraph mean?
A.Abandons. B.Transfers. C.Connects. D.Applies.
根据第二段中的“In Łowicz, for example, the paper cuttings are quite colorful, featuring complex designs with mainly patterns of flowers, while Kurpie wycinanki is typically made from a single color of paper, often green or red, and focuses on more abstract, geometric patterns.(例如,在洛维奇,剪纸色彩丰富,设计复杂,主要以花卉图案为主,而库尔皮剪纸通常由单一颜色的纸制成,通常是绿色或红色,并且侧重于更抽象的几何图案)”可知,洛维奇和库尔皮剪纸的区别在于颜色使用和设计图案。
根据第三段中的“The combination of tradition and artistry makes Bolesławiec pottery a valued item in Polish households and a popular export around the world.(传统与艺术性的结合使博莱斯瓦维茨陶器成为波兰家庭中珍贵的物品,并成为全球流行的出口商品)”可知,博莱斯瓦维茨陶器受欢迎的原因是其兼具传统和艺术特色。
根据第五段中的“Efforts to preserve and promote Polish folk art have been ongoing. Craft workshops, festivals, and exhibitions across Poland provide opportunities for younger generations to learn the skills. For example, the annual Łowicz Folk Festival not only features traditional dance and music but also displays wycinanki, pottery and many other techniques.(保护和推广波兰民间艺术的努力一直在进行中。波兰各地的工艺作坊、节日和展览为年轻一代提供了学习这些技能的机会。例如,一年一度的洛维奇民俗节不仅有传统舞蹈和音乐,还展示剪纸、陶器和许多其他技艺)”可知,作者提到洛维奇民俗节是为了展示保护民间艺术所做的努力。
15.词句猜测题。根据最后一段中的“Polish folk art is more than just a collection of crafts — it’s a living tradition that fuses the past into the present. So, the next time you see a piece of Polish folk art, take a moment to appreciate the centuries of history, culture, and creativity it represents.(波兰民间艺术不仅仅是一系列工艺的集合——它是一种将过去fuses现在的活态传统。所以,下次当你看到一件波兰民间艺术品时,花点时间欣赏它所代表的几个世纪的历史、文化和创造力。)”可知,波兰民间艺术是活态传统,代表了几个世纪的历史、文化和创造力,因此它是将过去和现在融合在了一起,故推测fuses意为“连接、融合”,与connects同义。
第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分)
阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
If you spend any time gardening, you probably understand what I mean when I say it feels good — despite the lifting, sweating and muscle pain involved. Yes, acts like digging in the dirt are good for my body. 16 Even the smell of the soil makes me happy.
17 There’s an entire field called horticultural therapy (园艺疗法) using plant-based and garden-based activities to support people with treatment needs. Research suggests 20 – 30 minutes of gardening a few times a week can reduce stress and lift one’s mood, and that the more regularly one gardens, the greater the benefits are.
Gardening requires more than just staying outdoors. 18 Such active engagement over time adds a unique layer of meaning and satisfaction that passive outdoor time does not. In addition, gardening has been shown to ease symptoms of anxiety and depression, and to develop a sense of calm, purpose and achievement.
A study backs this up. The researchers provide one group of participants with an instructional gardening class, seeds, starter plants and a community gardening plot. 19 The gardening group report stronger social connections, lower stress levels and about a 7% increase in fiber intake. They also report a 42-minute weekly increase in physical activity, which the non-gardening group don’t report.
“Physically, gardening improves strength, flexibility and balance. Mentally, it develops problem-solving skills and creativity,” says Sarah Thompson, a professionally registered horticultural therapist, adding that it’s a highly adaptable activity. “ 20 And its benefits are accessible to everyone.” Deep down, we gardeners have always believed this. Now, we have the science to prove it.
A.Almost all gardeners have this understanding.
B.As it turns out, there are scientific reasons for this.
C.Gardening can be suited to any space, ability or age.
D.They also have a group without gardening for two years.
E.Most of the participants enjoy the pleasure of being outdoors.
F.We should always tend plants with enthusiasm and a willing heart.
G.However, apart from the physical benefits, they help lift my spirits.
16.根据前文“Yes, acts like digging in the dirt are good for my body.(没错,翻土这类园艺活动对我的身体有益。)”以及后文“Even the smell of the soil makes me happy.(就连泥土的气息也能让我心情愉悦。)”
17.根据后文“There’s an entire field called horticultural therapy (园艺疗法) using plant-based and garden-based activities to support people with treatment needs.(有一门园艺疗法,利用植物和园艺活动帮助有康复需求的人。)”
18.根据前文“Gardening requires more than just staying outdoors.(园艺不仅仅只是待在户外而已。)”以及后文“Such active engagement over time adds a unique layer of meaning and satisfaction that passive outdoor time does not. (长期这种主动投入能增添被动户外活动所没有的意义与满足感。)”可知,空格处说明园艺需要用心主动投入,F选项“We should always tend plants with enthusiasm and a willing heart.(我们应当始终怀着热情和心甘情愿的心态照料植物)”呼应主动参与的内涵,和后文active engagement语义契合。
19.根据前文“The researchers provide one group of participants with an instructional gardening class, seeds, starter plants and a community gardening plot.(研究人员给一组参与者提供园艺课程、种子、幼苗和社区园艺场地。)”
20.根据前文““Physically, gardening improves strength, flexibility and balance. Mentally, it develops problem-solving skills and creativity,” says Sarah Thompson, a professionally registered horticultural therapist, adding that it’s a highly adaptable activity. (专业注册园艺治疗师萨拉·汤普森表示:“在身体层面,园艺能增强体力、提升柔韧性与平衡能力;在心理层面,它可以培养解决问题的能力和创造力”,她还补充道,这是一项适应性极强的活动。)”以及后文“And its benefits are accessible to everyone.(而且每个人都能享受到它带来的益处。)”

The boys were so 32 to give out their boxes of Chocolate Bark, 33 when someone would ask, “You made this yourself? It looks like it came from a 34 store!” But for me, there’s nothing that comes out of our kitchen 35 than the time our family spends in it together.

In the vast desert of northwest China, a team of digital archivists (档案保管员) are racing against time. They are working on a project 36 (entitle) “Digital Dunhuang”, which aims to create a permanent record of the Mogao Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its exquisite Buddhist art, 37 keep these ancient artworks from being lost forever.
For over a decade, researchers took advantage of advanced 3D scanning technology 38 (record) every detail of the caves. Unlike physical restoration, which is 39 constant battle against wind and sand, digital preservation offers a solution. The data collected from these scans is so precise that it can reproduce the caves with millimeter-level 40 (accurate).
The project not only protects the cultural heritage but also makes it 41 (access) to global audiences. Through a virtual tour, anyone with an Internet connection can explore the caves 42 causing damage to the original murals (壁画). “We are trying to strike a balance between conservation and education,” explains Dr. Zhao, the lead researcher. “By bringing the caves to the world, we hope to inspire a wider group of audience to appreciate this ancient wisdom.”
43 (look) ahead, the team plans to introduce artificial intelligence to help restore areas 44 pigments (颜料) have faded over time. This combination of ancient artistry and modern innovation 45 (represent) a new chapter in how we preserve our collective human history.
36.entitled 37.and 38.to record 39.a 40.accuracy 41.accessible 42.without 43.Looking 44.where 45.represents
make sth. + adj.

Dear Chris,
How is everything going? I’m writing to share my experience of the school’s Labor and Practice Day last week.
We went to the school garden to grow vegetables. At first, I found digging and planting really tiring, but with my teacher’s guidance, I learned to work with my classmates. By the end of the day, we had planted a small vegetable patch together.
This activity taught me that labor is not just hard work, but also a way to feel proud of what you’ve created. It also made me value the food we eat more. Have you ever had a similar experience?
Best wishes,
Li Hua

1】This activity taught me that labor is not just hard work, but also a way to feel proud of what you’ve created.(运用了 that引导的宾语从句以及what引导的宾语从句)
2】It also made me value the food we eat more.(运用了省略了关系代词that/which的定语从句,修饰前面的名词the food)
In a small town in Ohio, there was a middle school next to a vacant (空的) lot — overgrown with weeds, filled with old trash, and ignored by most people. Among the school’s students were four friends: Ella, who loved growing houseplants; Tyler, who helped his grandpa with woodwork; Zoe, who liked drawing plans; and Jax, who was good at asking neighbors for help. They often passed the lot and wished it could be something useful — until one day, their art teacher suggested they turn it into a community garden for the town. The four jumped at the idea, eager to make the empty space a place everyone could enjoy.
They started by making a plan: Zoe drew beds for vegetables and flowers, Tyler said he could build wooden fences, Ella listed the seeds they needed, and Jax offered to ask local stores for free tools. But challenges came fast: the lot’s soil was hard and full of rocks, they had only a few old shovels (铲子), and a neighbor joked, “You kids will never fix this mess.” Worse, each faced personal trouble: Ella had to take care of her little sister after school, leaving less time to work; Tyler worried his fences would look messy; Zoe feared her plan was too big to finish; Jax felt discouraged when a store said no to free tools. But they supported each other — Ella brought her sister to help pull weeds, Tyler practiced fence-building with his grandpa, Zoe simplified the plan, and Jax found a hardware store that donated old gloves and rakes.
After weeks of work, the garden started to take shape: they turned over the soil, built small fences, and planted tomato and sunflower seeds. Then, a heavy rainstorm hit the town overnight. The next morning, they rushed to the lot — only to find their newly built wooden fence knocked over by strong winds, and some seed beds flooded. They stood there, staring at the mess, before Jax said, “We’ve fixed hard things before. Let’s start again.”
注意:
(1) 续写词数应为150个左右;
Unfortunately, when they tried to rebuild the fence, some wooden boards were broken.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This time, with more neighbors helping, the garden looked better than ever.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Unfortunately, when they tried to rebuild the fence, some wooden boards were broken. Tyler felt upset at first, but soon he thought of asking his grandpa for extra wood. Jax ran to the neighborhood and told everyone about the garden’s trouble — many neighbors were moved and came with tools and wood to help. Ella and Zoe cleared the flooded soil, sorted the wet seeds, and replanted new ones carefully. No one complained; even Ella’s little sister handed out water to the helpers. They worked together until the fence stood sturdier, and the seed beds were tidy again, their hearts full of hope instead of disappointment.
This time, with more neighbors helping, the garden looked better than ever. There were more flower beds, a stronger wooden fence, and even a small wooden bench Tyler built. Weeks later, sunflowers bloomed tall, and tomato vines bore fruit. The once-empty lot became a colorful, lively community garden — kids picked fresh tomatoes happily, elders sat on the bench chatting, and everyone thanked the four friends. The four knew their hard work and teamwork didn’t fail them. What started as a small idea turned into a warm place that connected the whole town, making their little corner of Ohio much more beautiful.

C.Connects. D.Applies.

注意:
(1) 续写词数应为150个左右;
Unfortunately, when they tried to rebuild the fence, some wooden boards were broken.

注意:
(1) 续写词数应为150个左右;
