It is + adj + of/for sb + to do sth 辨析 该句型中,it作形式主语,真正的主语是后面的不定式。of和for的选择取决于形容词的性质。 结构 形容词特点 常用形容词 例句 说明 It is + adj + of sb + to do 形容人的品质 kind, nice, wise, brave, clever, foolish, selfish, polite It is kind of you to help me. of说明这真是某人做的 It is + adj + for sb + to do 形容事物的特点 important, necessary, easy, difficult, possible, hard, useful It is important for us to learn English. for说明对某人来说 判断方法:如果能用"某人真adj"的句式(如"你真好"),就用of;否则用for。 • It is wise of you to follow his advice.(= You are wise. 你真是明智的。) • It is necessary for you to practice every day.(不能说You are necessary.) 2. 宾语从句(Object Clauses) 宾语从句在句中作动词或介词的宾语,由that、if/whether或特殊疑问词引导。 (1)that引导的宾语从句(陈述句) 主句动词 引导词 例句 think / believe that(可省略) I think (that) he is a great scientist. say / know that(可省略) She says (that) she admires him very much. hope / wish that(可省略) I hope (that) I can become like him one day. be + adj that(可省略) I am sure (that) he will succeed. 注意:如果主句动词是think/believe等,否定时通常否定主句: • I don't think (that) he is right.(我认他是对的——否定前移) (2)if/whether引导的宾语从句(一般疑问句) 引导词 用法 例句 if 是否(可用于口语) I wonder if he will come. whether 是否(较正式,可与or not连用) I don't know whether he is right or not. 注意:whether可与or not连用,if不可以。 • I don't know whether he will come or not.(正确) • I don't know if he will come or not.(错误,if不能与or not直接连用) (3)宾语从句的时态呼应 主句时态 从句时态 例句 一般现在时 根据实际情况用任意时态 I think he is/was/will be a good teacher. 一般过去时 改为相应的过去时态 I thought he was a good teacher. 一般过去时(客观真理) 仍用一般现在时 The teacher said that the earth goes around the sun. 3. 让步状语从句(though/although/even though) 连词 含义 注意事项 例句 though 虽然;尽管 最常用,口语化 Though she is young,she is very wise. although 虽然;尽管 较正式,语气强 Although he failed,he never gave up. even though 即使 语气更强,表假设 Even though it is hard,I will keep going. 注意事项 不能与but连用 但可与yet/still连用 Though he was tired,he still kept working. 例句对比: • Although he faced many difficulties,he didn't give up.(正确) • Although he faced many difficulties,but he didn't give up.(错误——although和but不能同时用) • Even though she is very busy,she always helps others.(正确) 四、典型例题 1.
