The top three robots were all made by Honor, which entered the robot industry just one year ago. The company is still working on independent motor technology and hasn’t sold any robot products yet.
A 选项:“未来人类跑步者会输掉所有比赛” 表述过于绝对,原文仅提及机器人打破了半马单项纪录,无法推出 “所有比赛都会输” 的结论,排除;
B 选项:从中国企业制造的机器人打破世界纪录、参赛规模爆发式增长、北京的产业布局规划、全球 80% 以上的人形机器人由中国生产等信息,可合理推断出中国在人形机器人领域发展速度极快,为正确答案;
C 选项:“机器人很快能完全取代人类” 表述过于绝对,原文未提及相关内容,无中生有,排除;
A research team from Iowa State University recently discovered that exercise has a positive impact on people with depression.
A 选项:“人们运动的各类目标” 仅为文章第一段的引入内容,并非全文核心主旨,以偏概全,排除;
B 选项:“运动对抑郁症患者的积极影响” 完整覆盖全文核心研究结论与所有段落内容,为正确答案;
C 选项:“抑郁症的三大典型特征” 仅为研究过程中涉及的细节内容,并非文章核心,排除;
29. 答案:B.
细节理解题,原文定位:第二段尾句 participants' feelings of depression were significantly reduced during exercise and for up to 75 minutes or even longer after exercise, while their ability to experience pleasure also increased.
A 选项:“认知能力完全恢复” 与原文第三段 “关于抑郁症第三大特征 —— 认知能力下降,研究结果仍不够明确,需进一步研究” 的表述完全矛盾,排除;
B 选项:“幸福感得到提升” 与原文中 “体验愉悦的能力有所提升” 的表述完全对应,为正确答案;
C 选项:“不再需要专业心理帮助” 原文未提及,无中生有,排除;
Unfortunately, for people with depression, it is particularly difficult to find the motivation to exercise or try new things.
A 选项:“专家已完全弄清抑郁症导致的认知能力下降” 与原文第三段 “认知能力下降的研究结果仍不明确,需进一步研究” 的表述矛盾,排除;
B 选项:“抑郁症患者很难鼓起勇气去锻炼” 是对原文 “抑郁症患者很难找到运动的动力” 的合理同义改写,为正确答案;
C 选项:“治疗前锻炼会削弱医患关系” 与原文 “治疗前锻炼的患者能更快、更牢固地与治疗师建立关系” 的表述完全相反,排除;
31. 答案:A.
But it is comforting to know that exercise can change the feelings in the next few hours and reduce the severity of depressive symptoms.
选项 A seriousness 意为 “严重性、严肃程度”,与划线词语义完全一致,为正确答案;
32.答案:A
33.答案:B
解析:.... inheritors who have showcased the outstanding intangible culture of Jinan to the world through their superb skills.

39.答案:A

Dear friends,
As we all know, the heritage sites are of great significance to us. Cultural heritage sites carry the long history and splendid civilization of our ancestors, and are irreplaceable treasures of human culture. Yet nowadays, many of them are facing severe threats from human behaviors, such as random graffiti, deliberate destruction and tourists’ improper actions. Therefore, we earnestly call on all students to raise protection awareness, behave properly when visiting, actively spread the idea of preservation, and guard our cultural heritage with our joint efforts.

Paragraph 1:
Standing frozen on the stage, Lily could feel her hands sweating and her heart beating wildly. She wanted to escape from the stage immediately, but the countless days of hard training flashed through her mind. She remembered the teacher’s warm words that growth meant breaking through herself. Taking a deep breath, she slowly calmed down. She raised her head, looked at the audience gently, and began her speech. Gradually, she threw away her nervousness, her voice became clear and firm, and her performance was smooth and natural. When the last sentence fell, the whole hall burst into warm applause.
Paragraph 2:
Although she didn’t win the top prize, Lily gained far more than honor. This experience completely changed her. She no longer feared public attention or worried about making mistakes. Instead, she became brave and outgoing, actively participating in various school activities. She realized that true growth was never about being perfect, but about daring to try and bravely facing challenges. Stepping out of her comfort zone, she finally became a better version of herself.

Welcome to the World Heritage Tourism Guide
World Heritage Sites are some of the most amazing and important places on Earth. They include natural wonders, ancient buildings, and cultural landscapes. Visiting them is a wonderful way to enjoy great beauty and learn about history and culture. If you plan a heritage tour, here is some useful information.
Choose Your Destination
There are two main kinds of World Heritage Sites: cultural sites and natural sites. Cultural sites, such as old cities and ancient buildings, show human history and art. Natural sites, like mountains and forests, protect valuable ecosystems and scenery. Before your trip, decide which kind you prefer and study the local culture in advance.
Plan Smartly
Heritage sites are often strictly protected, so you need to follow special rules. Book tickets early online, because many sites limit daily visitors to protect the ancient buildings or environment. Wear comfortable shoes because you may walk a lot. Bring a small bottle of water and avoid taking unnecessary things.
Respect and Protect
During your visit, always follow the rules. Do not touch ancient paintings or carvings. Do not take photos if it is not allowed. Take your rubbish away and keep quiet in order not to influence other visitors. Remember: we are visitors, not owners. Our small actions can help protect these great treasures for future generations.
Travel Wisely
Join a guided tour if possible. Local guides know the stories and history behind the sites, making your trip more meaningful. Try local traditional food and experience simple local customs. This will make your heritage tour full of fun and unforgettable memories.
21. What can we learn about World Heritage Sites?
A. They are all man-made buildings. B. They include both cultural and natural sites.
C. They have no visitor number limits. D. They are not protected by special rules.
22. What are tourists advised to do during the visit?
A. Touch ancient carvings carefully. B. Take photos anywhere they like.

On Sunday, humanoid robots made history at a sports event in Beijing by breaking a human runner’s half-marathon record, showing their amazing development.
"Flash", a robot created by Chinese smartphone company Honor, finished the 21-kilometer Beijing E-Town Half Marathon in 50 minutes and 26 seconds. The earlier human record was 57 minutes and 20 seconds. This was a huge improvement compared with last year’s race, when the winning robot took nearly three hours. Only six robots finished the race last year, but this year over 100 teams joined, and the completion rate reached a new record.
The top three robots were all made by Honor, which entered the robot industry just one year ago. The company is still working on independent motor technology and hasn’t sold any robot products yet. This year, more than 40 percent of robots completed the race fully autonomously, using sensors and cameras to avoid obstacles. The track was also harder, with more curves and slopes to test their adaptability.
Beijing regards humanoid robots as a key future industry. The city has built large robot testing centers and collects massive data to support technological innovation. According to a plan, Beijing aims to build a complete industrial chain and a hundred-billion-yuan industry cluster by 2027. In 2025, Chinese companies produced over 80 percent of the world’s humanoid robots.
24. What is the new record time set by the robot "Flash"?
A. 57 minutes and 20 seconds B. 50 minutes and 26 seconds
C. 2 hours, 40 minutes and 42 seconds D. 1 hour and 10 minutes
25. How many teams took part in the race this year?
A. About 6 B. Only 13 C. Over 100 D. Nearly 20
26. What can we learn about Honor from the passage?
A. It has sold many robot products. B. It has been in the robot industry for many years.
C. Its robots took the top three places. D. It has solved all technical challenges.
27. What can be inferred from the passage?
A. Human runners will lose all races in the future.
B. China is developing very fast in humanoid robots.
C. Robots can completely replace humans soon.
D. Beijing will stop developing other industries.

People usually exercise with specific physical goals, such as enhancing endurance or strength, or changing their appearance by building muscle or losing weight. Many people also point out that improving their mood is one of the reasons why they exercise. A research team from Iowa State University recently discovered that exercise has a positive impact on people with depression.
Researchers investigated people who were in a depressed state before, during and after exercise. For the two main characteristics of depression, they observed signs of improvement: participants' feelings of depression were significantly reduced during exercise and for up to 75 minutes or even longer after exercise, while their ability to experience pleasure also increased.
However, the research results are not clear enough regarding the third major feature of depression - cognitive decline. The research team said that further studies are still needed.
In addition, researchers also conducted a preliminary study to explore the impact of patients exercising before receiving therapist counseling. The results show that patients who exercise before treatment can establish a relationship with their therapists more quickly and firmly. Unfortunately, for people with depression, it is particularly difficult to find the motivation to exercise or try new things. But it is comforting to know that exercise can change the feelings in the next few hours and reduce the severity of depressive symptoms.
28.What is the main idea of the passage?
A. Various aims people hold when they take exercise
B. The favorable effects of exercise on depressed individuals
C. Three typical features related to depressive illness
D. Methods to gain motivation for daily physical activity
29. Which improvement can be seen among depressed people after exercise?
A. Their cognitive ability recovers completely
B. Their sense of happiness gets improved
C. They no longer need professional psychological help
D. Their bad mood disappears forever
30. What can we infer from the passage?
A. Experts have fully figured out cognitive decline caused by depression
B. Depressed people have trouble mustering up courage to work out
C. Working out ahead of therapy weakens doctor-patient connection
D. People take exercise merely to keep a good figure
31. The underlined word "severity" in the last paragraph is closest in meaning to ______.
A. seriousness B. length C. cause D. variety
D
Intangible cultural heritage (ICH) originates from history. It has been passed down for thousands of years with craftsmanship and dedication. It also grows well in modern times, crossing boundaries and exploring innovation.
Jinan has a history of more than 2,600 years. The Longshan Culture, which started over 4,500 years ago, also began here. For thousands of years, many cultural and artistic treasures have been created in Jinan. Jinan’s ICH is a valuable treasure formed by time and made with wonderful skills.
For thousands of years, Chinese people's memories of traditional culture have often been concentrated in verbs such as kneading, weaving, printing and dyeing, forging, outlining, carving, and firing. This sufficiently demonstrates how much Chinese people cherish things created by their hands. Therefore, in the long river of history, ICH shines like brilliant stars, reflecting the brilliance of human wisdom and civilization.
This year is the 20th anniversary since China joined the UNESCO plan to protect intangible cultural heritage. During these 20 years, ICH has become a famous name card of Jinan.
In recent years, Jinan has tried to build itself into a "city of ICH" by carrying out a special project. It holds great ICH activities, chooses excellent ICH artists, sets up ICH studios and encourages more people to love and learn ICH.
Today, Jinan has many kinds of ICH: one world-class ICH, 13 national-level ICH, 108 provincial-level and 565 municipal-level ICH. It also has many excellent ICH inheritors who have showcased the outstanding intangible culture of Jinan to the world through their superb skills.
Relying on its rich ICH resources, Jinan has also actively promoted the deep integration of ICH and tourism, creating three ICH-themed tourism routes: "Springs and Cuisine," "Springs and Folk Customs," and "Springs and Folk Arts"; it has announced seven ICH attraction spots, including Baihuazhou, Mingshui Ancient City, Jinan Cultural Center, Daguanyuan ICH Research Base, Yushan Academy, and Shandong Taishunzhai Sausage Museum, enhancing the visibility and influence of ICH and enriching the cultural connotation of Jinan tourism.
32.How long is the history of Jinan?
A. Over 2,600 years B. Over 4,500 years C. 20 years D. 1,000 years
33. What does the underlined word "inheritors" in Paragraph 6 probably mean?
A. Visitors who travel to Jinan B. People who keep and pass on ICH skills
C. Places famous for ICH D. Projects of traditional culture
34. What has Jinan done to develop ICH?
A. Built new museums for modern art B. Connected ICH with tourism

B. ICH in Jinan is less famous than before

Lily was a shy and timid girl who was always afraid of making mistakes. She was so cautious about everything that she never dared to try new things for fear of being laughed at by others. Therefore, she always remained quiet in class, never volunteering to answer questions or take part in school activities.
One day, her teacher announced that the school would hold an English speech contest. To Lily’s great surprise, her teacher signed her up without asking for her permission. On hearing the news, Lily’s heart sank. She was completely unwilling to participate. The thought of standing on the stage facing hundreds of audiences made her tremble with nervousness.
After class, Lily went to the teacher’s office nervously and intended to give up the chance. Sensing her hesitation and fear, the teacher smiled gently and encouraged her patiently. “Growth lies in breaking through yourself. No one is perfect, and bravely trying is already a victory,” the teacher said softly.
The teacher’s words struck Lily deeply. She fell into deep thought. For a long time, she had hidden in her comfort zone and missed countless opportunities to improve herself. Finally, she made up her mind to seize the challenge and change herself.
From that day on, Lily spared no effort to prepare for the speech. She wrote and revised the speech draft repeatedly. Every morning, she practiced pronunciation and intonation aloud on the playground. Whenever she felt tired or frustrated, she would remind herself not to give up. Days of continuous practice made her more confident and calm.
However, on the day of the contest, countless pairs of eyes staring at her on the stage still made her extremely nervous. Her mind went blank the moment she stood in front of the microphone.
