My friend Jack was always having accidents. He did not pay attention to where he was going or what he was doing.
A few months ago, a car hit him while he was on his way home from school. The driver was a bit tired, so he did not see Jack. And Jack was talking on his mobile phone and was riding in the middle of the road. The car hit him. He broke his leg and was in hospital for over a month.
Last week, he fell down a hole in the park. As usual, he was not looking where he was going. Some kind-hearted people in the park helped him climb out of the hole and then took him to hospital because he was in a lot of pain. Luckily, he did not break an arm or a leg. At the hospital, the doctors gave him some medicine and then he went home.
I always told him to be careful, but he did not listen to me. After the two accidents, he promised to take my advice. Now he is very careful.

根据文章第二段明确写道“And Jack was talking on his mobile phone... The car hit him.”,说明车祸发生时他正在打手机,句子表述正确。
【13题详解】
根据文章第三段中“he fell down a hole in the park(他在公园里掉进了一个洞)”,而不是在去公园的路上(on his way to the park),地点状语不符,句子表述错误。
【14题详解】
根据文章第二段提到车祸时“He broke his leg(摔断了腿)”,第三段提到掉洞后“he did not break an arm or a leg”。全文未提及他摔断胳膊,因此“没有摔断胳膊”这一表述符合文意。
【15题详解】

Along with firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce and vinegar, tea is one of the seven necessities (必需品) for life in China.
On Nov.29th, 2022, the Intangible Cultural Heritage List (非物质文化遗产名录) added (增加) Chinese traditional tea making skills and their social practices to its list. Long time ago, Chinese started to plant, pick, make and drink tea.
More importantly, China’s tea culture developed social practices. It is Chinese tradition that a host (主人) should welcome guests with boiled (煮沸的) tea. A poem by Song poet Du Lei reads: I offer tea, not wine, to a guest on a cold night.
Boiling tea is one of the oldest Chinese tea brewing (煮沏) ways, dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618—907). People boiled tea leaves for a long time and sometimes they boiled it with different kinds of herbs (草药) and fruit. During this process, people can enjoy a quiet time. Later in the Ming Dynasty (1368—1644), a faster and easier way was more popular—steeping (冲泡).
However, the old way is now making a comeback among Chinese young people. On the app Xiaohongshu, there are over 40,000 posts on the topic of “stove-boiled” tea (围炉煮茶). They roast (烘干) tea leaves before boiling them in a teapot on a stove. Compared to other places, people like boiling tea on a stove and having snacks with their hot tea in the wild. Some also wear traditional hanfu as if (好像) it could take them back to those old times.
Through “stove-boiled” tea, people can taste a slow and peaceful life. As a sentence in Xiaohongshu said, “It is very relaxing to drink hot tea and chat with best friends.”
21. Which ones are on the list of the seven necessities for life in China?
A. Firewood and clothes. B. Tea and wine. C. Tea and vegetables. D. Tea and oil.
22. According to this passage, which of the following place would people like to boil tea on a stove?
A. At home. B. In a restaurant. C. On a river bank. D. At a teahouse.
23. When did steeping start to become more popular?
A. In 618. B. In 907. C. In 1368. D. In 1644.
24. What can we learn from the passage?
A. Steeping tea can be dated back to the Tang Dynasty.
B. People only drink tea when making “stove-boiled” tea.
C. In Chinese traditions, a host welcomes the guests with wine.
D. “Stove-boiled” tea is a way to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time.
25. What’s the main idea of the passage?
A. Show the ways of “stove-boiled” tea. B. Encourage us to make “stove-boiled” tea.
C. Introduce a new fashion—“stove-boiled” tea. D. Introduce China’s tea culture and its history.
【答案】21. D 22. C 23. C 24. D 25. D

【22题详解】

C
Like humans, sometimes animals also need to communicate (沟通) with each other. They communicate to tell each other where food is or to show how they feel. In fact, there are many ways for animals to do that.
The first and most usual way is by using the sound. For example, if the monkey sees a snake, it’ll give an alarm (警报) call for all the other monkeys to climb onto the trees. It means they’re in danger. Another example is the dolphin (海豚). Each dolphin has a special whistle (口哨声). This is similar to calling someone by his or her name. Scientists even think dolphins will whistle to talk to each other about a situation or the day’s events.
A second way animals communicate is through body language. For example, a pet dog will keep moving its tail when it is happy or excited. A scared cat will stand with its back high. Bees dance in patterns to tell other bees where and how far food is.
Another kind of animal communication is by touching. For example, giraffes will wrap their necks together if they like each other. Horses touch their noses together as a sign that they are comfortable with another horse. Some monkeys will touch their hands together to say “Hello”.
Next time you may watch carefully how two animals are communicating with each other when you meet them. It must be great fun.
26. The passage mentions some animals EXCEPT ______.
A. snakes B. monkeys C. dolphins D. zebras
27. According to the article, what can we learn?
A. Monkeys will give an alarm call to say “Hello”.
B. Dolphins may communicate through whistles.
C. Dogs can’t use body language to communicate.
D. Horses will touch their noses if they don’t like each other.
28. How does the writer write this passage?
A. By telling stories. B. By asking questions. C. By giving examples. D. By using numbers.
29. Which of the following best shows the structure (结构) of the passage?
A. B. C. D.
30. The passage is mainly about ______.
A. how animals communicate with each other
B. how important it is for animals to communicate
C. why animals need to communicate with each other
D. when animals need to communicate with each other
【答案】26. D 27. B 28. C 29. D 30. A

【28题详解】
文章在介绍每种沟通方式时,都使用了“For example”或“Another example is...”

There was a park near my home. Many people said there was nothing special there. One afternoon I went into the park. I walked for some time and found myself standing in front of two paths. “Which way should I go?” I asked myself. The two paths (小路) were different from each other.
The left one was wide and clean. There were many flowers on both sides of the path. The flowers were very beautiful. I decided to take this path. But wait! I looked at the right one. It was not clean. I couldn’t decide which path to choose.
After a while, a strange feeling made me follow the right one. It wasn’t nice, but I didn’t want to give up. At last, I came to the end of the path. Ah! There was a small garden there. It was beautiful. I thought it was the nicest part of the park. A. Many people told me that there was nothing to see in the park. When I told them what I had seen in the park, they just smiled at me without saying a word. I knew they didn’t believe me. They couldn’t even remember that path because it was so narrow.
My trip to the park made me understand something about life. B. 不要害怕选择一条不同的路。You may get a surprise!

根据文章第2段“The left one was wide and clean. There were many flowers on both sides of the path.”,左边小路又宽又干净,两边有许多漂亮的花。
【47题详解】
根据文章第3段”After a while, a strange feeling made me follow the right one.”,作者选择了右边那条路。

C. why animals need to communicate with each other
D. when animals need to communicate with each other
