In the UK, people have strict table manners /ˈmænəz/ (用餐礼仪).They eat with a fork and a knife.They hold the fork in their left hand (左手拿叉)and the knife in their right hand(右手拿刀). They use the knife to cut food, and use the fork to put food into their mouths.They always keep their mouths closed when chewing food. They never talk loudly at the table.
If British people invite friends to their homes, they have some special customs /ˈkʌstəmz/ (n. 习俗).First, guests should arrive on time.
