can的本质——情态动词
can 是情态动词,核心特点:
1.无人称、数的变化(I/you/he/she/they都用can)
2.后接动词原形(无论主语是谁,动词不变形)
3.否定形式:can not → 缩写为 can't
4.主要用途:表达“能力”和“许可”,贴合校园场景
can的用法1——表示能力(Ability)
含义:自身具备的、能做到某事的能力
结构(肯定句):主语 + can + 动词原形 + 其他
例句1:I can draw pictures.(我会画画。)

can表能力——否定句与疑问句
否定句结构:主语 + can't + 动词原形 + 其他
例:She can't swim.(她不会游泳。)
一般疑问句结构:Can + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他?
回答:Yes, 主语 + can. / No, 主语 + can't.
例:—Can you dance? —No, I can't.
can的用法2——表示许可(Permission)
含义:得到允许、可以做某事(校园规则、请求许可)
结构(肯定句):主语 + can + 动词原形 + 其他
例句1:You can ask the teacher for help.(你可以向老师求助。)
例句2:We can read books in the library.(我们可以在图书馆看书。)
can表许可——否定句与疑问句
否定句结构:主语 + can't + 动词原形 + 其他(表禁止)
例:You can't talk loudly in class.(你不能在课堂上大声说话。)
一般疑问句结构:Can I/you...?(请求许可)
例:—Can I use your ruler? —Sure, you can.
can表能力vs许可——区分技巧
1.表能力:主语通常是“人”,强调“会/不会”
例:She can play the piano.(能力)
2.表许可:主语通常是“you/we”,强调“可以/不可以”
例:You can use my pen.(许可)
小提示:结合句意,看是否和“能力、技能”相关
can的易错点
1.can后必须接动词原形,不能加-s/-ing
错误:He can plays football. 正确:He can play football.
2.否定句直接加can't,不用don't/doesn't
错误:She doesn't can swim. 正确:She can't swim.
动词-ing形式——用途
动词-ing形式:动词的一种变形,本单元核心用途:
跟在特定动词后,表达“喜好、厌恶、无所谓”
常用动词:like(喜欢)、love(热爱)、hate(讨厌)、don't mind(不介意)
