参考范文:
Last Sunday, I participated in the "One-Day Urumqi City Tour" organized by our school. It was an unforgettable experience.
We first visited the Xinjiang Regional Museum, where we learned about the rich history and diverse cultures of this region through fascinating exhibits. Then, we headed to the Grand Bazaar, the largest market in Xinjiang. The moment we stepped in, we were amazed by the vibrant atmosphere and the tempting aroma of delicious local snacks, such as lamb skewers and naan bread. Finally, we climbed to the top of Hongshan Park. From there, we enjoyed a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
This trip not only broadened my horizons but also deepened my love for my hometown, Urumqi. I am proud to live in such a beautiful and culturally rich city.

第二节:读后续写 (数学竞赛与兄弟情)
续写思路分析:
· 第一段 (I began to spend hours...): 应描写“我”在Jack的帮助下,如何刻苦备战数学竞赛。可以写具体的解题过程,Jack如何指导我,以及我在竞赛中取得好成绩。
· 第二段 (Later Jack and I went...): 应升华主题。从数学竞赛延伸到大学生活和体育俱乐部,体现Jack不仅是学业上的导师,更是生活中的榜样,强调兄弟情谊的持久和深远影响。
参考范文:
I began to spend hours at my desk focusing on getting a good score in the math competition. Following Jack's advice, I practiced solving complex problems every day. Whenever I felt stuck, he would patiently explain the logic behind the formulas, turning confusing numbers into understandable patterns. He even created mock exams for me, simulating the real competition environment. Thanks to his guidance and my hard work, I finally managed to stay calm during the contest and solved the tricky questions successfully. When the results were announced and I found my name on the honor list, I knew this achievement belonged to both of us.
Later Jack and I went to the same college and joined the same sports club. Although the subjects became more challenging, I no longer felt afraid because I knew I had a reliable partner by my side. Whether it was studying late in the library or running on the track field, Jack was always there to encourage me. He taught me not only how to solve math problems but also how to face life's challenges with confidence. Looking back, I realize that having a hero like Jack as my brother is the greatest gift in my life.

Visitors to Britain may find the best place to sample local culture ss in a traditional pub. But these
friendly pubs can be dangerous places of potential gaffes(失礼) for the newcomers. A team of
researchers have discovered some of the unknown customs of British pubs-starting with the difficulty of getting a drink. Most pubs have no waiters-you have to go to the bar to buy drinks. A group of Italian
youths waiting 45 minutes before they realized they would have to fetch their own. This may sound
inconvenient, but there is a hidden purpose.
Pub culture is designed to promote sociability(社交) in a society known for its reserve. Standing at the bar for service allows you to chat with others waiting to be served. The bar counter is possibly
the only site in the British Isles in which friendly conversation with strangers is considered entirely
suitable and really quite normal behavior. “If you haven't been to a pub, you haven't been to Britain.”
This tip can be found in a booklet, Passport to the Pub: The Tourists' Guide to Pub Etiquette, a
customers' rule of conduct for those wanting to sample “a central part of British life and culture”.
The trouble is that if you do not follow the local rules, the experience may fall flat. For example,
if you are in a big group, it is best if only one or two people go to buy the drinks. Nothing annoys the
regular customers and bar staff more than a group of strangers blocking all access to the bar while they
chat and hesitate about what to order.

A. taste B. experience C. test D. record

A. you won't buy good local drinks
B. you may annoy the regular customers and bar staff
C. you may fail to feel the local culture
D. you might get into a dangerous place

It's only 4 hours flying time from Sydney, but a world away. What better place to rest than a country where the only place people hurry is on the football field and things are done in “Fiji time”?
Viti Levu—— Great Fiji —— is the largest island. Here you’ll find the capital Suva and the
international airport at Nadi. Vatoa, on the other hand, is a tiny island in the farthest part of Fiji. Then
there are 331other islands, many of them with places to stay.

Whenever you come, wherever you go, you' re sure to see some unforgettable events, from war
dances to religious(宗教的) songs, from market days to religious days. It's not just staged for tourists;
it's still a part of everyday life in Fiji. And any one of us can enjoy Fiji's spirit by being part of the

Given the popularity of inexpensive food that promotes overeating, it makes sense that we try to
guard against “cheap and unhealthy” food in an effort to be healthy. But we may be overcorrecting,
forgetting that “cheap and healthy” food exists, too.
According to a recent study, many people believe that healthy food must be more expensive than
unhealthy food, and that healthy food just needs to be expensive. In fact, the researcher found that a high-price tag(标签) will even convince consumers that a certain food is healthful. “It's concerning. The
findings suggest that price of food alone can affect our understanding of what is healthy,” Rebecca
Reczek, researcher of the study, said.
According to Reczek, the purpose of the study was to examine the popular belief, also known as
a lay(非专业的) theory, that eating healthy food means spending more money.
In one experiment, Reczek gave participants a new food product. Some participants were told
the product was very healthy. Others were told the product had little nutritional value. Participants who were told the product was good for them rated it as pricier(更昂贵的) than those who thought it was
unhealthy in another experiment, participants were given a health faod bar labeled (用标签标明) as
“the healthy protein bar on the planet”. Some participants were told the bar cost just $0.99, while others were told the bar was $4.
And here's what happened: The people who were given the “cheaper” bar needed to read more
reviews about the product when it was priced at a lower price point in order to trust that it was healthy.
The idea that we all believe healthy food needs to be more expensive works against Reczek.
“We don't have to be misled,” she said. “We can compare nutrition labels and we can do research
before we go to the grocery store. We can use facts rather than our intuition(直觉).”
32. Which of the following statements reflects the author's opinion?
A. The cheaper food is, the less people will eat.
B. People's health awareness needs improving.
C. The price of food can't reflect its health degree.
D. It is wrong of people to seek health at all costs.
33. Why did Reczek carry out the study?
A. To prove her belief. B. To test a lay theory.
C. To promote healthy eating. D. To examine people's idea of health.
34. What does Reczek suggest we do?
A. Ignore nutrition labels. B. Believe our intuition.
C. Shop smartly. D. Ignore the price tag.
35. What can be the best title for the text?
A People falsely believe pricier food is healthier
B. Don't be misled by price tags any more
C. What influences our choices when we buy food?
D How to eat cheaply and healthily?

Referred to as my hero, Jack, my brother, held significance in my life. Since he did everything
before me, he always guided me and shared with his experiences l would have never had otherwise. As a master of learning and sports, he always accompanied me to study and take exercise. And he even got me through difficulties in life.
My first steps into high school were exciting but nervous, and I believed my extracurricular
grades would be seen and valued by colleges. However, this sudden shift was difficult for me. Luckily, my brother noticed it all.
During that time, Jack was beginning his senior year and was finished with all the stressful
subjects from junior year while I was studying for my very first math exam. Rather than just break into my room and sit down next to me, he let me decide by myself. He didn't want to bother me because
having someone sit next to me and micromanage my every move made me feel uncomfortable, leading
to more stress and a feeling of distrust. Knowing this, he would leave me chips and snacks by my door,
so I could pick them up whenever I felt like taking a break. He was there to help wnenever I needed.
With his encouragement and company, I became more confident while doing my homework.
The workload was just a major struggle for me during high school. Homework from advanced
classes began piling up, and I was often stressed about different projects and deadlines. Moreover,
