一、动词（v.）

1.affect /əˈfekt/ 影响

核心用法：affect sth. 影响某物（侧重 “带来改变、产生作用”）

例：Bad weather affects our travel plans.

2.sunbathe /ˈsʌnbeɪð/ 沐日光浴；晒太阳

核心用法：go sunbathing 去晒太阳

例：Many people like to go sunbathing on the beach in summer.

二、形容词（adj.）

1.dry /draɪ/ 干的；干旱的

例：The weather is dry here in winter.

反义词：wet（湿的）

2.stormy /ˈstɔːmi/ 有暴风雨（或暴风雪）的

例：It’s dangerous to go out on a stormy night.

词性拓展：storm（n. 暴风雨）；stormily（adv. 猛烈地）

3.lucky /ˈlʌki/ 运气好的；带来好运的

例：You are lucky to pass the exam.

修饰动词，描述雨、雪、风等天气状况

常见搭配：rain heavily 下大雨；snow heavily 下大雪

2.high /haɪ/ 高

副词或形容词，修饰高度、声音、价格等

例：The kite is flying high in the sky.（adv.）/ The mountain is very high.（adj.）

五、固定短语

1.rain or shine 不论是雨或是晴；不管发生什么事

2.stay in 待在家里；没有外出

例：I have to stay in on rainy days.
