云南省新中考下学生口语表达问题诊断与优化策略探究
——以假期E听说冲刺卷学生错误为例

摘要:云南省中考英语自2023年起增设口语考试,从两届考情来看,学生口语部分丢分严重,尤其是日常对话和情景问答。教师普遍缺乏精准诊断工具与方法。本文借助E听说平台,对2023—2024学年寒假期间两个班级8套中考听力口语冲刺卷中的典型错误进行案例分析,归纳朗读、日常对话、情景问答三类题型的主要问题,并提出针对性教学策略,以期为备考师生提供参考。

云南省中考英语从2023年开始考查口语。从两年考情看,大部分考生口语较听力丢分更为突出,教师也缺乏借助数据平台开展精准诊断的有效方法。笔者在2023—2024学年寒假借助E听说平台布置8套冲刺卷,系统分析学生口语问题并提出复习策略,希望为一线备考师生提供实践参考。
一、研究背景及工具
云南省中考英语听说测试的增设,在一定程度上扭转了传统考试“重读写、轻听说”的局面,对教学改革产生了积极的反拨效应。教师开始重视听说课堂设计,学生也主动提升听说能力。但教学中提分仍为首要目标,学习能力培养被弱化,这与测试初衷相悖。总体而言,听说测试的加入仍正面效应大于负面。
云南省中考英语口语考试包括三部分:朗读(4个单词+3个句子)、日常对话(听问题后根据汉语提示口头作答)、情景问答(听问题后根据图片口头作答)。两届考情显示,口语得分不容乐观,日常对话和情景问答尤为突出。大多数教师未能借助数据平台诊断问题,更缺乏针对性策略。
E听说是一款中学英语“听说读写”全学科备考产品,针对考纲精准命制内容,采用科大讯飞官方语音评测技术精准评测,基于大数据智能计算技术打造智能练习平台、个性化学情图谱等功能。笔者在2023—2024学年寒假中通过E听说给自己两个班的学生布置了8套综合性中考听力口语冲刺卷。学生完成试卷后,平台通过大数据分析显示:口语部分还有较大提升空间,应当加强口语训练;听力部分总体水平较好,成绩中等的学生较多,加以关注有助提高整体水平。为了更好地针对学生所犯错误提出解决措施,笔者从这8套试卷中提取了错误率较高且较为典型的案例进行探究。
二、朗读部分案例分析及策略
考查目标:用正确的语音语调拼读单词,流畅自然地朗读句子。
【案例】My sister got caught in the heavy rain yesterday.
该生读完后,E听说平台从完整度、准确度和流畅度三个维度进行评分。对比分析发现,学生准确度和流畅度不达标的原因包括:单词my/caught/rain的发音不准确(尤其是双元音音素及字母组合的发音)、意群和语调意识淡薄、紧张造成的多读。
因此,教师在备考阶段需要系统复习音素、意群和语调等语音知识。比如在【案例】中学生把caught读错,教师复习字母组合au/gh的常见发音后,学生碰到taught/enough就不再感到害怕,甚至碰到生词tough也能轻松读出来。必要时也可以讲解一些常用的自然拼读规则,这样学生遇到不会的单词可以采用自然拼读法尝试发音,尽量做到每个音的准确。紧张是造成朗读部分丢分的一个普遍性的非智力因素,要积极引导学生正确克服:第一,快速浏览展示的材料,可心里默读,熟悉文本内容,避免紧张造成误读、多读、漏读;第二,放松心情,把握好时间,发音清晰、语速适中,读错单词时自然纠正即可。
三、日常对话部分案例分析及策略
考查目标:考查英语日常交际能力,要求考生熟练应用英语常用交际用语。
【案例一】(厨房里;书架上)
录音:Where is your father now?
学生A:in kitchen
学生B:in the chicken(参考答案为He is in the kitchen / in the kitchen)
分析:学生A遗漏定冠词the;学生B把kitchen和chicken搞混淆。
【案例二】(日本;中国)
录音:Which country has the bigger population?
学生A:-nese...Japanese...Japan
分析:该生一共说了三次,主要存在以下几个问题:第一,未能听出关键词bigger population,导致答非所问;第二,Japan和Japanese词性或意思混淆,好在后面及时纠正;第三,没有掌握好答题时间,还没有听到提示音就忙于答题,导致只录到了Japanese的后半部分-nese。
【案例三】(很紧张;问老师)
录音:How do you deal with a math problem?
学生A:I will ask for the teacher.
分析:学生没有掌握ask的基本用法,且回答应用by+doing结构。
综上所述,学生在日常对话中常犯错误:①遗漏虚词(尤其是介词和冠词);②单词发音或用法错误;③忽略固定格式,如回答方式用by+doing、why用because或to do;④没有听清问题中的关键词,导致答非所问。
因此,教师在日常教学中要注重细节,必要时进行针对性强化练习,刻意强调易错点(如虚词遗漏、固定回答模式)。关于重难点要引导学生进行整理和归纳,如how long的三种问法所对应的回答:问长度时回答应为“数字+meters/kilometers”;问动作持续多长时间时回答应为“for+时间段”;问某事花了多长时间时回答应为“时间段”。对学生常犯错误,教师要及时纠正并做好记录,利用艾宾浩斯曲线定律引导学生定期复习强化,如【案例一】中把kitchen和chicken混淆。此外,要时刻提醒学生掌握好答题时间,听到提示音再开始答题,避免【案例二】中学生的Japanese只录到了后半部分。如有类似错误发生,不紧张,自然纠正即可。
在备考冲刺阶段,教师应引导学生严格按照“一推二定三全”的步骤作答日常对话。一推:根据提示信息,推断出每条信息可能对应的提问关键词;二定:带着前面的推测去听问题,选定与提问方式相吻合的提示信息;三全:听第二遍时完善其他次要信息,组织起完整的答案,注意时态和人称。
四、情景问答部分案例分析及策略
考查目标:考查在不同情景下的英语表达能力,要求考生掌握不同情景的相关英语表达。
【案例一】
录音:When is Women’s Day?
学生A:May 8th(参考答案为on March 8th)
分析:基础不扎实——月份不会读且遗漏介词on。
【案例二】
录音:What will you compete in the sports meeting?
学生A:I...run
学生B:Three players
学生C:You can run(参考答案为I will run/run)
分析:学生A语速过快,机器未能完整识别;学生B未能听清问题,导致答非所问;学生C回答时未能注意人称、时态的正确使用。

综上所述,情景问答常见错误:①常考话题的必背单词未能掌握;②没有听清问题,导致答非所问;③时态人称错误;④词汇及发音错误;⑤语速过快。
因此,第一,教师在备考阶段要借助E听说的考试平台和相关资源,了解听力口语考试重难点,带领学生系统复习常考点(如星期、月份、季节等),对单词进行归类梳理记忆,避免【案例一】中混淆May和March的现象;总结归纳易错点(如什么时候不用冠词——by+交通工具、in+月/年等)。第二,教师引导学生加强平时的英语日常交流,养成课前交流的好习惯,如问学生What are you doing? 在备考冲刺阶段,教师应引导学生严格按照“一析二定三全”的步骤作答情景问答。一析:首先分析情景图片,找出设问的信息点及每个点对应的设问关键词;二定:听第一遍问题时着重听设问关键词,这一步重要的是“踩点”,匹配信息;三全:听第二遍问题时,补全其他细节信息,如人称、时态等,形成完整回答。

单词的正确发音是口语考试的基础。教师可从以下几方面入手:第一,系统复习音素、字母组合及自然拼读规则,帮助学生遇到生词时敢于尝试发音。第二,引导学生结伴练习,互相纠错;基础差的班级可采取跟读、带读。第三,将高频错误整理归纳,定期复习强化。针对“答非所问”问题,其根源在于听力薄弱,需加强听力训练。
总之,教师在带领学生备考听力口语时,应从以下几个方面入手,切实帮助学生提高口语表达能力及考试成绩:朗读部分注意正确的发音、意群、语调等;日常对话注意固定格式、虚词细节、常用单词发音及用法等;情景问答注意把握语速、时态人称、必要的简略回答、直接描述等。

Books that only bring fun can catch our attention when we read. But we can hardly remember anything after we close the book.
