In this lesson, we will be able to:
Master vocabulary related to different literary genres ,and understand sentence patterns used in talking about literature preferences and learning experiences.
Through listening to the conversations, students can accurately extract key information ,and fluently discuss literary topics with classmates, including sharing personal literary preferences, introducing favorite works, and explaining the charm of literature.

Jenny:Exactly.I think fables are rich in morals.One of my favourites is “The Fox and the Grapes.”Have you heard of it?
Li Ming: Yes! it’s a good one. I also like science fiction.Have you ever read the novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea?I’m about a quarter of the way through it.
Jenny:Yes,I love it.Jules G.Verne takes us on an exciting underwater adventure full of discoveries.Yesterday,I just finished reading “The Gift of the Magi by O,Henry”.
Li Ming: Ah, I am familiar with that short story too. In my Chinese class, we're reading ancient Chinese poems by great poets like Li Bai and Du Fu. They wrote hundreds of amazing poems.
Jenny: That sounds fascinating! I remember Brian is interested in writing poems. Perhaps you could talk to him about it sometime.
Li Ming: Really? I hope he enjoys Chinese poems and finds inspiration in them.
Jenny: I bet he does! Literature has so much to offer, and it can open new worlds for us. Let's continue learning and exploring its wonders together!
