专题02 阅读理解(记叙文) 主题01 人与社会 Passage 1 (2025·安徽滁州·二模) For her 85th birthday, I gave my mother an iPad. Though she’d never used a computer, she showed a keen interest in the device because she knew people who had one, and she believed that if she didn’t keep up with technology, she’d one day find herself in a computerized kitchen, unable to open a can of soup. Then began her journey of exploring the digital world. Mom is a reader, so I downloaded the library app and signed her up for an e-card. She regularly downloaded e-books herself. When they were not immediately available, she put them on hold and usually forgot about them later. Next, we handled Netflix. Being a movie lover, Mom was astonished by the number of films that Netflix has on offer. One Saturday she called because she was having trouble logging onto Netflix. She was sure that she had entered correct user’s name and password, but without any luck. I suggested the version might be too old. “They probably have fewer people working as it’s a long weekend,” she told me. Now, we FaceTime and Zoom every day. She reads e-books, amazed that she can check them out in the middle of the night. She watches TV series and even knows about the most recent hit. However, she is still unable to surf the Internet smoothly — whenever she wants to browse the news sector online, she might touch the pop-up ads and sidebars by accident, thus ending up on strange pages. I can’t wait for the day when we can sit down in person and surf the Internet together. In the meantime, it’s great to see how much her confidence has grown. Yesterday, she FaceTimed me “I’ve made a resolution,” she announced. “I’m going to learn how to operate every piece of technology in the apartment — including the TV remote.” 1.Why did the author’s mom show a keen interest in iPad? A.Because she was a movie lover. B.Because everyone she knew had one. C.Because it was gifted by her daughter. D.Because she didn’t want to be left behind. 2.What might be the reason why the author’s mother couldn’t log onto Netflix? A.The app needed to be updated. B.Few people worked on the weekend. C.She entered the wrong user’s password. D.Her iPad’s operating system broke down. 3.What trouble does the author’s mom encounter when surfing the Internet? A.It’s hard to read e-books at night. B.She might be led to strange pages. C.The sidebars fail to function properly. D.There is nothing fun in the news sector. 4.What’s the author’s purpose in writing the article? A.To suggest some apps an iPad offers to old people. B.To share her mom’s experiences of learning technology. C.To criticize technology for being unfriendly to seniors. D.To show her approaches to teaching her mom to use an iPad. 根据第一段“Though she’d never used a computer, she showed a keen interest in the device because she knew people who had one, and she believed that if she didn’t keep up with technology, she’d one day find herself in a computerized kitchen, unable to open a can of soup.( 尽管她从未使用过电脑,但她对这一设备表现出了浓厚的兴趣,因为她认识一些拥有电脑的人。而且她认为,如果自己不跟上科技的发展步伐,那么有朝一日她会发现自己身处一个全是电脑操控的厨房里,连一罐汤都打不开。)”可知,作者的妈妈对iPad表现出浓厚的兴趣是因为她不想被时代落下。故选D。 2.细节理解题。根据第二段“I suggested the version might be too old.(我建议版本可能太旧了。)” 故选A。 3. 根据第三段“However, she is still unable to surf the Internet smoothly — whenever she wants to browse the news sector online, she might touch the pop-up ads and sidebars by accident, thus ending up on strange pages.(然而,她仍然不能顺利上网——每当她想在网上浏览新闻版块时,她可能会不小心碰到弹出广告和侧边栏,从而进入奇怪的页面。)可知,作者的妈妈在上网时遇到的问题是她可能会被引导到奇怪的页面。故选B。 4.推理判断题。根据第一段“For her 85th birthday, I gave my mother an iPad.(她85岁生日时,我送给妈妈一台iPad。)”以及文章主要讲述了作者的妈妈学习使用iPad的经历可知,作者写这篇文章的目的是分享她妈妈学习技术的经历。故选B。 Passage 2 (2026·安徽滁州·二模) The district championship game between Academy and Apache was intense. The Academy players were weaker, and their coach, Brendan King, knew they’d have to play their best for a chance at winning. When Apache built a lead by 14 points with four minutes on the clock, King called one last timeout (比赛暂停). “If we want to win this game, this is the time,” he told his players. Academy came out of the timeout with new energy, sinking shot after shot to narrow the gap to just a few points. Then, with two minutes left, the referee (裁判) stopped play. The scoreboard had Academy down by 4 points; the scorebook had them down by 2. League rules state that the scorebook is final. The scoreboard was updated to 43 -41, with Apache taking the lead. Play continued. Academy hit a 3-point shot to top Apache by a point for the school’s first-ever district championship. The girls piled up on top of one another, but King walked to the locker room with a sinking feeling in his heart. That night, King sat down at the table with the game tape. He watched the entire game through, counting every point on a notepad. His instinct was right. By his count, Academy had lost the game by a point. Just a minute before the referee stopped the game, the scorekeeper miscounted an extra basket for the Academy due to a poor angle. Deflated but relieved to know the truth, King informed the league’s governing body. Then, he told the players to meet him at school and broke the news. Within 20 minutes, the team decided there was only one thing left to do: turn the trophy (奖杯) over to the rightful champion. Next, King made the 90-minute drive to Apache to deliver the trophy to its players. Apache coach had also noticed the error and raised the issue with officials, but the score wasn’t overturned. After reviewing King’s report, they made an exception, earning Apache its win. “They worked just as hard as we did. I hated the moment was taken away from them,” says King. 1.What happened with two minutes left in the game? A.The scorekeeper found an error. B.Academy took the lead with a 3-point shot. C.King called a technical timeout. D.The match was suspended over a scoring mistake. 2.Why did the scorekeeper add extra points to Academy’s score? A.He misread the league rules. B.The close game confused him. C.He had a poor viewing angle. D.The scoreboard showed wrong scores. 3.What does the underlined word “Deflated” in paragraph 5 mean? A.Confused. B.Discouraged. C.Astonished. D.Annoyed. 4.What can be a suitable title for the text? A.A Close Match B.True Champions C.Coach’s Choice D.A Satisfying Result 【答案】1.D 2.C 3.B 4.B 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。文章主要讲述了Academy队和Apache队之间激烈的地区冠军赛,在比赛中因记分员失误导致比分错误,最终Academy队教练King在发现真相后,主动将奖杯归还给真正获胜的Apache队的故事。 1.细节理解题。根据第二段“Then, with two minutes left, the referee (裁判) stopped play. The scoreboard had Academy down by 4 points; the scorebook had them down by 2. League rules state that the scorebook is final. The scoreboard was updated to 43-41, with Apache taking the lead. (然后,在比赛还剩两分钟时,裁判停止了比赛。记分牌显示Academy队落后4分;记分簿显示他们落后2分。联盟规则规定,记分簿是最终依据。记分牌更新为43比41,Apache队领先。)”可知,在比赛还剩两分钟时,因记分出现错误比赛暂停。故选D项。 2.细节理解题。根据第四段“Just a minute before the referee stopped the game, the scorekeeper miscounted an extra basket for the Academy due to a poor angle. (就在裁判停止比赛前一分钟,由于角度不佳,记分员为Academy队多算了一个篮筐得分。)”可知,记分员给Academy队额外加分是因为他视角不佳。故选C项。 3.词句猜测题。根据第五段“Deflated but relieved to know the truth, King informed the league’s governing body. (King得知真相后,虽然感到deflated,但也松了一口气,他将情况告知了联盟的管理机构。)”可知,前后句为转折关系,King得知真相后,虽然松了一口气,但也应该是感到沮丧的,所以deflated的意思应为“沮丧的”。A. Confused困惑的;B. Discouraged沮丧的;C. Astonished惊讶的;D. Annoyed恼怒的。故选B项。 4.主旨大意题。根据最后一段“Apache coach had also noticed the error and raised the issue with officials, but the score wasn’t overturned. After reviewing King’s report, they made an exception, earning Apache its win. “They worked just as hard as we did. I hated the moment was taken away from them,” says King. Passage 3 (2025·安徽芜湖·二模) Yang Yu, known as Jiaozi (“Dumpling”), is a visionary Chinese animation director who redefined modern storytelling through his masterpiece Né Zha Birth of the Demon Child. Although his decision was not understood by others, to him, it is passion that deserves the most attention.(然而,在2003年,他放弃了医学,选择追随自己对动画的热爱。尽管他的决定不被其他人理解,但对他来说,热爱是最值得关注的。)”可知,饺子放弃医学职业是因为他把热爱放在首位。故选B项。 2.细节理解题。根据第二段中的“Eventually he produced his first short film See Through. This 16-minute anti-war animation, created entirely by himself, won 30+ international awards, including the Best Animation Award at the Berlin International Film Festival.(最终他制作了自己的第一部短片《打,打个大西瓜》。这部 16 分钟的反战动画完全由他自己创作,赢得了 30 多个国际奖项,包括柏林国际电影节最佳动画奖。)”可知,饺子的第一部短片的特别之处在于它完全由饺子独自制作。故选C项。 3.推理判断题。根据第三段中的“His breakthrough came with Ne Zha, a five-year passion project that broke multiple records. The film features 1,318 special effects shots and went through 66 script revisions. 根据第二段中的“From 2005 to 2008, he taught himself animation software while living with his parents, who gave him a lot of support, both economically and mentally. Eventually he produced his first short film &ee Through. This 16-minute anti-war animation, created entirely by himself, won 30+ international awards, including the Best Animation Award at the Berlin International Film Festival. Han Zheming has managed to perfect the skill, creating tea art in cups, or dian cha in Chinese, which used to be a ritual (仪式) during the Song Dynasty. Over the past six years, he has used tea and spoons to create nearly 200 patterns based on ancient paintings. “It’s like adding bells and whistles to tea and giving people a stronger sense of occasion, so drinking tea is more fun,” Han says. It’s also his intention to bring the old ritual back to modern life and have more people appreciate its charm. Chinese tea culture started to enjoy popularity during the Tang Dynasty and flourished (繁荣) throughout the Song Dynasty, when tea had become a necessity for almost everyone, from nobles and scholars to common people, just like other necessary items, such as rice, oil and salt. In the Song Dynasty, the popular way of having tea was through dian cha. The process begins with hot water being poured over fine powdered tea, creating a paste. Then more hot water is slowly added as the tea is constantly whisked (搅动) by hand with a bamboo stick. This action of pouring hot water is called dian, hence the name dian cha, which was listed as an intangible cultural heritage of Runzhou District, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. Han has been fascinated by the culture and art of the Song Dynasty. “My mother loves traditional culture and I have been leaning toward it under her influence,” Han says. After graduating in 2006, he took great delight in drinking tea gradually. This led him to learn about traditional tea culture and buy ceramic tea sets, especially those made in the style of the Song Dynasty. While studying the history and trying to figure out the reasons behind the use of tea sets, he came across the art of dian cha. “I was amazed by this wonderful way of drinking tea,” Han says. 1.How does the writer introduce the topic of dian cha in the first paragraph? A.By raising a question. B.By defining a concept. C.By making a comparison. D.By giving examples. 2.Why did Han Zheming commit himself to dian cha? A.To show off his skill in making tea. B.To revive the old ritual in modern life. C.To boost tea sales and increase his income. D.To help his mother promote traditional culture. 3.What does paragraph 4 mainly talk about? A.The specific process of making dian cha. B.Han Zheming's experience of growing tea. C.The differences between dian cha and other tea ceremonies. D.Application procedures for intangible cultural heritage registration. 4.Which of the following is the best title for the text? A.A History of Chinese Tea Sets B.A Tea Art Reborn from History C.The Interesting Procedures for Making Tea D.The Different Tea Culture Through Dynasties 【答案】1.C 2.B 3.A 4.B 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。文章主要讲述了韩哲明钻研宋代点茶技艺,将这一古老的饮茶仪式重现于现代生活的故事,同时介绍了点茶的历史背景与制作流程。 1.推理判断题。根据第一段“It’s common to see a barista create coffee art, but it’s a whole different ballgame doing the same thing with tea.(看到咖啡师创作咖啡艺术是很常见的,但用茶做同样的事情则完全是另一回事。)”可知,作者将咖啡师的咖啡艺术与茶的点茶技艺进行对比,从而引出点茶这一话题。故选C。 2.细节理解题。根据第二段“It’s also his intention to bring the old ritual back to modern life and have more people appreciate its charm.(他还打算把这个古老的仪式带回现代生活,让更多人欣赏它的魅力。)”可知,韩哲明致力于点茶是为了让这一古老仪式在现代生活中复兴。故选B。 3.主旨大意题。根据第四段“The process begins with hot water being poured over fine powdered tea, creating a paste.(这个过程始于将热水倒在精细的茶粉上,调成糊状。)”以及“Then more hot water is slowly added as the tea is constantly whisked by hand with a bamboo stick.(然后慢慢加入更多热水,同时用竹棍不断用手搅动茶水。)”可知,第四段具体描述了制作环节,清晰展现了点茶的具体流程。故选A。 4.主旨大意题。文章围绕韩哲明复兴宋代点茶技艺展开,既介绍了点茶的历史,也讲述了其在现代的重现,“A Tea Art Reborn from History(一项从历史中重生的茶艺)”能精准概括主旨。故选B。 主题02 人与自我 Passage 1 (2026·安徽蚌埠·二模) Shetara Sims had weathered some tough years. In 2012, her eldest daughter suffered severe injuries during an argument in Kansas City, Missouri. Last year, the single mother lost her job in the hard times. She had only $7 in her pocket as she headed into the grocery store one day last July with her 12-year-old daughter, Rakiya Edmondson. And then luck finally turned Sims’ way. She and her daughter found a dollar bill in the parking lot. Maybe this was their day, they told each other. So they bought a lottery ticket (彩票) — and won $100. But before they could spend their windfall, Rakiya had an idea. The news in Kansas City that week had been filled with stories about a police officer, Tyler Moss, who had been shot in the head in the line of duty. He was in critical condition. Rakiya and her mother had never forgotten how kind the police had been after their own family member was attacked. “The detectives were really there for us,” Sims says. “They came to see my kids. They were fathers, therapists (治疗师). They were everything.” Rakiya wanted to give their lottery winnings to Officer Moss’s family. Her mom readily agreed. On July 10, Sims called the police and made an anonymous (匿名的) donation. Moved by her generous act, the officers did what they do best — they tracked Sims down. When she explained the family’s motivation, the officers could hardly believe it. “With her current financial hardship, we encouraged her to keep the money,” the department later explained. “She refused, saying the officer’s family needed it and police needed to know they were supported.” By then, that feeling of support was mutual. The police set up a GoFundMe page for Sims and her daughter, whom they named “The Woman with the Heart of Gold.” Their goal was $10,000. By January 11, 2021, they had raised $165,405. Even better: Officer Moss, who had a 1 percent chance of survival, is out of the hospital and recovering. 1.What does the underlined word “windfall” in paragraph 3 probably mean? A.Devoted effort. B.Poor times. C.Unexpected money. D.Lucky days. 2.What made the Sims decide to donate the lottery winnings? A.Desire for public praise. B.Gratitude for past police kindness. C.Hope for financial return. D.Sympathy for Officer Moss’s family. 3.Why did the police track down Sims after the donation? A.To return the money. B.To help the family. C.To report her in public. D.To find the truth. 4.Which of the following can be the best title for the text? A.A Lottery Win That Brought Mutual Warmth B.A Police Officer Who Got Support from a Stranger C.A Poor Family Whose Life Was Changed by Faith D.A Kind Police Team That Helped a Single Mother 【答案】1.C 2.B 3.D 4.A 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。文章主要讲述了Shetara Sims母女捡到钱买彩票中奖后,将奖金匿名捐给受伤警察家庭,后获警方帮助的暖心故事。 1.词句猜测题。根据第二段中“So they bought a lottery ticket (彩票) — and won $100.(于是她们买了一张彩票,中了100美元。)”、“But before they could spend their windfall, Rakiya had an idea.(但是还没等她们花掉她们的windfall,Rakiya就有了一个想法。)”可知,她们买的彩票中奖了,还没花这笔意外之财的时候,Rakiya有了想法,所以windfall指的是“意外之财”,即Unexpected money。故选C。 2.细节理解题。根据第三段中“Rakiya and her mother had never forgotten how kind the police had been after their own family member was attacked.(Rakiya和她的母亲从未忘记,在她们的家人遭到袭击后,警察是多么的善良。)”以及“Rakiya wanted to give their lottery winnings to Officer Moss’s family. Her mom readily agreed.(Rakiya想把她们的彩票奖金捐给莫斯警官的家人。她妈妈欣然同意了。)”可知,对过去警察善意的感激让Sims决定捐赠彩票奖金。故选B。 3.细节理解题。根据第四段中“On July 10, Sims called the police and made an anonymous (匿名的) donation. Moved by her generous act, the officers did what they do best — they tracked Sims down. When she explained the family’s motivation, the officers could hardly believe it.(7月10日,Sims联系警方,进行了匿名捐款。警方被她的善举深深打动,最终查到了她的身份。当她说明捐款缘由后,警方难以置信。)”可知,警察在捐赠后追踪Sims是为了找到真相。故选D。 4.主旨大意题。通读全文,尤其是根据第四段中“On July 10, Sims called the police and made an anonymous (匿名的) donation. Moved by her generous act, the officers did what they do best — they tracked Sims down. When she explained the family’s motivation, the officers could hardly believe it.(7月10日,Sims联系警方,进行了匿名捐款。警方被她的善举深深打动,最终查到了她的身份。当她说明捐款缘由后,警方难以置信。)”和最后一段中“The police set up a GoFundMe page for Sims and her daughter, whom they named “The Woman with the Heart of Gold.” (警方为Sims母女开设了众筹页面,称赞她为“心地至善的女人”。)”可知,文章讲述了Shetara Sims母女捡到钱买彩票中奖后,将奖金匿名捐给受伤警察家庭,后获警方帮助的暖心故事,体现了双方互相给予的温暖,A选项“A Lottery Win That Brought Mutual Warmth(一场带来双方温暖的彩票中奖)”最符合文章主旨,适合作最佳标题。故选A。 Passage 2 (2026·安徽马鞍山·二模) I only became a regular bike rider several years ago, and it has become one of the joys of my life. When it came to maintenance, though, I was quite hesitant. Strange noises were things I figured would either go away on their own or get worse until I’d hand off to an expert. I’m not proud to admit I’ve walked my bike half an hour to a bike shop to fix a puncture (爆胎) more than once; my chain was always caked in dirt because I thought even looking at it the wrong way might break something. When a crash left my bike a write-off, I bought a late-70s bike for $ 50, and I instantly loved how it rode. Maybe it was how little money I’d spent, or low-tech parts, but I suddenly felt the urge to tinker. Guided by little more than YouTube videos and phone calls to my dad, I fitted new handlebars, a new chain and a front basket, all with second-hand parts. The ability to figure out how each part informs the whole generated a sense of self-satisfaction. Last summer I got even more ambitious; wanting a project to get stuck into without taking apart my bike then in use, I bought an old steel frame, built it up and finally got a working machine. I learned a lot — not least that when it comes to old bikes, parts are a lot less interchangeable than they might look. There have been plenty of occasions where I probably should have relied on my old philosophy of leaving well enough alone. An old bike can be easy enough to make rideable, but making that ride pleasurable can be difficult — parts wear out, and replacing one thing can sometimes break another. But even that’s part of the joy of it — I know there’ll be another opportunity to dive back into the parts bin just around the corner. 1.What was the author unwilling to do according to paragraph 2? A.Walk his bike. B.Hear bike noises. C.Lend his bike. D.Fix his bike himself. 2.What does the underlined word “tinker” in paragraph 3 mean? A.Practice riding tricks. B.Post on social media. C.Make small changes. D.Catch up with others. 3.Why did the author buy the old steel frame? A.To learn mechanic physics. B.To make a bike out of it. C.To start his school project. D.To use the old parts of his bike. 52.What has the author learned from his experience? A.Challenges can be rewarding. B.Enjoyment calls for free time. C.Planning ahead prevents problems. D.Hands-on skills are hard acquired. 【答案】1.D 2.C 3.B 4.A 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。主要讲述作者几年前成为自行车骑行常客,起初对自行车维护踌躇不前,后因购买一辆旧自行车,在借助YouTube视频和父亲指导下尝试动手改装,之后又购买旧钢架制作自行车,在这一系列过程中收获满足感与乐趣。 1.细节理解题。根据第二段中的“When it came to maintenance, though, I was quite hesitant. Strange noises were things I figured would either go away on their own or get worse until I’d hand off to an expert. I’m not proud to admit I’ve walked my bike half an hour to a bike shop to fix a puncture (爆胎) more than once; my chain was always caked in dirt because I thought even looking at it the wrong way might break something.(然而,说到维修,我相当犹豫。对于奇怪的噪音,我觉得要么它们自己会消失,要么会变得更糟,直到我把车交给专家处理。我很不好意思承认,我不止一次推着自行车走半个小时到自行车店去补胎;我的链条总是沾满污垢,因为我觉得哪怕看它的方式不对都可能弄坏什么东西)”可知,作者不愿意自己修理自行车。故选D项。 2.词义猜测题。根据第三段中的“Guided by little more than YouTube videos and phone calls to my dad, I fitted new handlebars, a new chain and a front basket, all with second-hand parts.”(仅仅在YouTube视频和给父亲打电话的指导下,我就安装了新的车把、新链条和一个前篮,这些都是用二手零件安装的)”可知,作者对自行车进行了一些小的改动,由此可推断“tinker”意思是“做小改动”。故选C项。 3. 根据第四段中的“wanting a project to get stuck into without taking apart my bike then in use, I bought an old steel frame, built it up and finally got a working machine.(因为想要投入做一个项目,又不想拆解当时正在使用的自行车,我买了一个旧钢架,把它组装起来,最终得到了一辆能使用的自行车)”可知,作者买旧钢架是为了用它制作一辆自行车。故选B项。 4. 根据最后一段中的“There have been plenty of occasions where I probably should have relied on my old philosophy of leaving well enough alone. An old bike can be easy enough to make rideable, but making that ride pleasurable can be difficult — parts wear out, and replacing one thing can sometimes break another. But even that’s part of the joy of it — I know there’ll be another opportunity to dive back into the parts bin just around the corner.(有很多时候,我可能本应该秉持我原来那种不轻易动手的观念。让一辆旧自行车能骑起来很容易,但要让骑行变得愉快却很难——零件会磨损,更换一个部件有时会弄坏另一个部件。但即便如此,这也是其中乐趣的一部分——我知道很快就会有另一个机会再一头扎进零件堆里)”可知,作者在修理自行车过程中遇到困难,但认为这是乐趣的一部分,即挑战能带来回报。故选A项。 Passage 3 (2026·安徽淮北·二模) I will never forget the moment I crossed the finish line of my first marathon in Detroit, Michigan. My legs were on fire, my lungs felt like they would give out — but I had never felt more alive. To my astonishment, I went beyond my initial goal of 3 hours and 30 minutes with a final time of 03:15, placing third in my age division. This stood not only as a personal victory but as a crucial change in the direction of my life. I’ve been running since I was a young child. It began through the influence of my grandfather, who always pushed me to “run the hills” and “run the block” by his side. Among his words of wisdom, one instruction he often repeated was “just put one foot in front of the other.” Simple words, yet they left an indelible impression on me, one I carried into both my running career and my life. Running became my healing, my escape, and eventually my passion. I never had a coach or formal training plan-just a deep-rooted love for the rhythm of the run and an inner guide that always told me to keep going. I decided to pursue marathon training at 22, though I did not know exactly what to expect. I knew I wanted to push myself and see what I was capable of. My training was a combination of discipline and insight. I pushed my body month after month and trusted the years of movement already settled into my muscles. When race day came, I was nervous but ready. My first marathon was more than a race-it was a true awakening. Now, I’m building something that helps others find their own finish-line moment, because I believe running can change your life, just like it changed mine. 1.What do we know about the author’s first marathon? A.It was a major failure. B.It was an effortless race. C.It was a regretful event. D.It was a vital experience. 2.What does the underlined word “indelible” in paragraph 3 mean? A.Confusing. B.Painful. C.Long-lasting. D.Widespread. 3.What does running mean to the author according to the text? A.A competitive sport requiring professional coaching. B.A spiritual support and a way to explore her potential. C.A rigid training plan to build up her muscle memory. D.A successful pursuit driven by pressure and ambition. 4.What does the author intend to convey through this text? A.The importance of having a supportive family member. B.The value of discipline in achieving athletic success. C.The excitement of participating in a competitive race. D.The transformation that running brought to her life. 根据第一段“I will never forget the moment I crossed the finish line of my first marathon in Detroit, Michigan. The project is the brainchild of Elizabeth — Jane Baldry, a local harpist who bought the spot — then poor quality former agricultural land 18 years ago. She named it Pigwiggen Wood, and with the help of her two sons, has since turned it into a wildlife refuge. The dream to crown the space with a grand oak table was a longstanding one, Baldry told Positive News: “The Tudor oak came from an old estate in mid-Devon,” she said. “Five hundred years in the growing and 500 years preserved as a table in a Devon wood, a place where people can gather to share food, friendship and lively conversation.” Many of the comments from people who supported the crowd funding campaign brought tears to Baldry’s eyes. “Some people donated from across the oceans, and even though it’s unlikely that they will ever sit at the table, they said they’d donated because just knowing the Great Oak Table existed made them feel better about the world,” she said. “Over and over again the word ‘magical’ came up, an indication I think that we’re all so hungry for enchantment and a sense of belonging.” And now there are all the stories still to come, Baldry added: “the midsummer feasts, the bowls of steaming soup cooked over the fire on winter days, the children drawing and making things, the parish picnics, and the essential quiet days when visitors can simply relax and soak up the magic.” 1.What is special about the Great Oak Table? A.It is made from a rare type of oak. B.It is the most extensive single-oak table. C.Its benches have a seating capacity of 18. D.It is located in a significant agricultural land. 2.What can be inferred about the donors to the crowd funding campaign? A.They were hungry for the midsummer feasts. B.They were preserving ancient crafting techniques. C.They valued the symbolic meaning of the project. D.They have experienced the joy of sitting at the table. 3.How does Baldry envision the table’s future role? A.A temporary attraction for tourists. B.A symbol of personal achievement. C.A useful tool for cooking purposes. D.A lasting place for shared connections. 4.What can we learn from the text? A.Tradition ends where modern ambition begins. B.Silent forests hold secrets beyond our understanding. C.Magic blossoms when people unite to preserve heritage. D.Beauty in nature fades quickly if left without a watchful eye. 【答案】1.B 2.C 3.D 4.C 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文,主要讲述了人们团结起来将一棵橡树改造成巨大的橡木桌,人们聚在橡木桌上分享生活的故事。 1.细节理解题。根据第一段“A Great Oak Table — plus accompanying benches capable of seating 60 comes after locals raised £ 22,555 to transform a 500-year-old oak tree that fell in a storm 15 years ago into what they believe is the longest table ever to be crafted from a single oak tree.(一张巨大的橡木长桌——外加配套的长凳,可容纳60人就座——是当地人筹集了22,555英镑后,将15年前在一场风暴中倒下的一棵有着500年历史的橡树改造而成的,他们认为这是迄今为止用一整棵橡树打造的最长的桌子。)”可知,大橡木桌的特别之处是这是单棵橡树所能制成的规模最大的桌子。故选B。 2.推理判断题。根据倒数第二段“Some people donated from across the oceans, and even though it’s unlikely that they will ever sit at the table, they said they’d donated because just knowing the Great Oak Table existed made them feel better about the world(有些人甚至从大洋彼岸捐款,尽管他们不太可能有机会亲自坐在这张桌子旁,但他们表示,自己捐款是因为仅仅知道这张“巨大橡木长桌”的存在,就让他们对这个世界感觉更好了)”和“Over and over again the word ‘magical’ came up, an indication I think that we’re all so hungry for enchantment and a sense of belonging.(“神奇(magical)”这个词被反复提及,我认为这表明我们所有人都如此渴望得到一种被迷住的体验,以及一种归属感。)”可知,捐助者重视这项工程的象征意义。故选C。 3.细节理解题。根据第三段“Five hundred years in the growing and 500 years preserved as a table in a Devon wood, a place where people can gather to share food, friendship and lively conversation.(这棵树历经五百年生长,之后又以桌子的形态在德文郡(Devon)的一片树林中保存了五百年,那里是人们可以聚集在一起分享食物、友情和热烈交谈的地方。)”可知,Baldry认为这个桌子是一个共享联系的持久场所。故选D。 4.推理判断题。根据第一段“A Great Oak Table — plus accompanying benches capable of seating 60 comes after locals raised £ 22,555 to transform a 500-year-old oak tree that fell in a storm 15 years ago into what they believe is the longest table ever to be crafted from a single oak tree.(一张巨大的橡木长桌——外加配套的长凳,可容纳60人同时就座——是在当地人筹集了22,555英镑资金后打造而成的,他们将15年前在一场风暴中倒下的一棵有着500年历史的橡树,改造成了他们所认为的有史以来用单棵橡树制作的最长的桌子。)”和第三段“Five hundred years in the growing and 500 years preserved as a table in a Devon wood, a place where people can gather to share food, friendship and lively conversation.(这棵树历经五百年生长,之后又以桌子的形态在德文郡(Devon)的一片树林中保存了五百年,那里是人们可以聚集在一起分享食物、友情和热烈交谈的地方。)”可知,本文主要讲述了人们团结起来将一棵橡树改造成巨大的橡木桌,人们聚在橡木桌上分享生活的故事,因此可以从文中了解到“当人们团结起来保护遗产时,神奇就会绽放”。故选C。 主题03 人与自然 Passage 1 (2026·安徽合肥·二模) Since 2019, our institute, the Institute of Biology and Chemistry of Proteins in Lyon, has reduced its carbon footprint by about 13% through changes in lab practices. For me, however, this transformation started with a sense of discomfort rather than with numbers. At the time, I was an early-career researcher focusing on publications and productivity. So when about a dozen volunteer scientists began raising concerns about the environmental impact of our work, I hesitated. Any measure that might affect productivity seemed risky. I worried that raising freezer temperatures could damage samples, that reducing cleaning cycles might slow experiments, and that changing long-standing procedures could hurt my publication record. One question in particular changed the way I think. Audrey Sabbagh, an associate professor at Paris City University, once asked, “Can we consider research that is not ethical from an environmental point of view to be excellent?” That question stayed with me. I realized that I had long separated excellence from responsibility. My colleagues and I then joined the Labos 1.5 program, a collective of around 600 researchers who believe science should lead by example in reducing society’s carbon footprint. The collective has developed a free online tool that any researcher can use to compute their lab’s carbon footprint. The results showed that more than half of the emissions (排放) in laboratories like ours came from the production, transport, and technical services linked to lab supplies and equipment. These emissions were far greater than those from conference travel, commuting, or heating buildings. That finding forced me to rethink both our assumptions and our practices. We began testing simple changes. After confirming sample safety, we carefully raised freezer temperatures, reduced consumables, encouraged equipment repair, and extended the lifespan of computer hardware. We also replaced short-distance flights with train travel whenever possible. These were small but practical steps. Over time, I came to see that sustainability requires careful balancing. It is challenging, but essential for the future of science. 1.Which of the following contributed to the author’s initial hesitation? A.Fear of their research being affected. B.Discomfort of a new working environment. C.Doubts about being a capable young scientist. D.Worries about tough working conditions in the lab. 2.What does Audrey Sabbagh imply in paragraph 3? A.Research comes out of a change in thinking. B.Good research cannot harm the environment. C.Research should be aimed at improving life. D.Excellence and responsibility cannot coexist. 3.What did the results of the Labos 1.5 tool calculation suggest? A.The lab’s carbon footprint was less serious than expected. B.The previous assumptions and practices were largely accurate. C.Lab supplies and equipment were the main source of lab emissions. D.Travelling and heating accounted for the majority of the pollution. 4.What did the author finally come to realize? A.Safety always comes first in science. B.Scientific work requires practical skills. C.Success in science needs careful action. D.Small changes can promote sustainability. 【答案】1.A 2.B 3.C 4.D 【导语】文章主要介绍了作者所在研究所通过调整实验室举措减少碳足迹。作者起初因担心科研效率受影响而犹豫,后受一个环保伦理问题启发,加入科研环保项目,并认识到微小改变对科研可持续发展的重要意义。 1.细节理解题。根据原文第二段“Any measure that might affect productivity seemed risky.(任何可能影响科研效率的措施似乎都存在风险。)” 可知,作者起初犹豫是担心他们的科研工作受到影响。 2.推理判断题。根据原文第三段“Audrey Sabbagh, ... once asked, “Can we consider research that is not ethical from an environmental point of view to be excellent?”(Audrey Sabbagh,……曾发问:“从环境角度来看,我们能否将不符合道德规范的研究视作优秀研究?”) ” 可知,Audrey Sabbagh的话暗示了优质的科学研究不能以破坏环境为代价。 3.细节理解题。根据原文第四段“The results showed that more than half of the emissions in laboratories like ours came from the production, transport, and technical services linked to lab supplies and equipment.(结果显示,像我们这样的实验室,超过一半的排放来自实验物资和设备的生产、运输及相关技术服务。)” 可知,实验物资和设备是实验室排放的主要来源。 4.推理判断题。根据原文第五段“These were small but practical steps. My first animal friends were guinea pigs. And then I tried my best to persuade my parents to get a dog. For some reason they did not seem to believe I would walk the dog three times a day, no matter how hard I tried. Then my mother said a friend’s cat had had kittens and we could go and get one. At first I was disappointed, but with time I learned to love our cat so much I have had cats ever since. I just have to remember to bolt everything into place. If I don’t, things fly (they seem to get airborne when cats are around —the more expensive an object is, the more it seems to enjoy flying). Also, watering plants is no problem. During the years all the plants have disappeared except the cactuses (仙人掌). They don’t seem to interest cats much. Nor do they need much water. It would be nice to get flowers, but I do advise against anyone bringing them to me. No matter what flower — it is considered a kitty snack. Changing furniture is nice too. Cats help in letting us know when it is time to change the sofa. Either when the fabric starts to look like Einstein’s hair that has been combed with cats’ paws (爪子), or when no amount of vacuuming (用吸尘器打扫) helps in revealing the original color of the couch, thanks to the generous donation of cat hair. A soft sofa is nice, sure, but it sort of gets a bit embarrassing when, all our guests leave the house with fur-trousers. I could go on and on to tell you more interesting stories between us next time! 1.Why did the author’s parents turn him down when he wanted to have a dog? A.They didn’t favour dogs. B.They didn’t think he could attend dogs well. C.They had already had a pet. D.They thought dogs might mess the house up. 2.Which of the following can explain “bolt everything into place” underlined in paragraph 3? A.Keep everything fastened. B.Keep everything organized. C.Have everything prepared. D.Have everything repaired. 3.What can we infer about the plants from paragraph 4? A.They are replaced by new ones. B.They are sent to the guests. C.They are mostly eaten by the cats. D.They are frequently watered. 4.What is the author’s purpose in writing the text? A.To complain about his cats. B.To share fun experiences of petting cats. C.To compare his different pets. D.To introduce his skills for keeping pets. 【答案】1.B 2.A 3.C 4.B 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。主要分享了作者养小猫的一些趣事。 1.细节理解题。根据第一段中的“For some reason they did not seem to believe I would walk the dog three times a day, no matter how hard I tried.(出于某种原因,他们似乎不相信我会每天遛狗三次,无论我多么努力。)”可知,作者的父母担心作者不会每天遛狗三次,也就是说,父母是担心他不会好好照顾宠物狗。故选B项。 2.词句猜测题。根据划线短语后的“If I don’t, things fly (they seem to get airborne when cats are around — the more expensive an object is, the more it seems to enjoy flying).(如果我不这样做,东西就会飞起来(当有小猫在的时候,它们似乎就会飞起来——越贵的东西似乎越喜欢飞)。)”可知,划线句子前面的内容是说“我必须要记得做划线短语那件事”,如果没记住做这件事,家里的一切就会“飞”起来,结合选项可知,所以为了防止一切不会“飞”起来,只能“把一切都固定好”符合逻辑。故选A项。 3.推理判断题。根据第四段中的“No matter what flower — it is considered a kitty snack.(不管什么花 —— 它都被认为是小猫零食)”可知,小猫会把所有的花都当成零食,由此可推断,小猫会把这些花当零食吃掉。故选C项。 4.推理判断题。根据最后一段中的“I could go on and on to tell you more interesting stories between us next time!(下次我可以继续告诉你我们之间更多有趣的故事!)”可知,作者说下次继续讲述与小猫在一起的趣事,由此推断,本文写作的目的是分享与小猫在一起的趣事。故选B项。 主题01 人与社会 Passage 1 (2025·安徽马鞍山·二模) When handball was introduced to Sri Lankan schools in 2010, I wanted to bring it to my school, St Anthony’s, in the remote village of Wasalakotte. This became a challenging task as the sports teacher was unwilling to initiate anything other than traditional sports, such as cricket and rugby. However, I decided to start this game. Handball is a fascinating (有吸引力的) game which combines speed, technical precision, skill and teamwork. The boys were immediately interested and 40 students aged between 13 and 19 signed up to play. And I had the support of their parents. Heshan Pradeep, a St Anthony’s graduate who was a member of the Air Force handball team, volunteered to coach the team. Although handball is an indoor game, we trained outdoors as our school had limited facilities. “It will ruin their studies!” complained some of the teachers. But I managed to get the game going. After three months of hard training, we were able to send an under-19s boys’ team to compete with 50 other schools at the first three-day, all-island school handball tournament held in Colombo — the country’s most populous city. Our boys played remarkably well and reached the final. And that was when the real game started. Students, parents, teachers and old boys from Colombo schools joined forces against us, saying they wouldn’t allow the cup to be taken out of Colombo. Some Colombo students waved leaves and danced and sang their songs to intimidate our boys. Even the referees (裁判) favored the Colombo schools. Defeated, the boys fell to the ground, sad and disappointed. A few weeks after the defeat, I turned to Vonho, Heshan’s coach. Vonho agreed to coach the team in his free time. The following year, the boys claimed the victory they deserved. 1.Why was it hard to start handball in St. Anthony’s? A.The school lacked facilities. B.The teachers were opposed to it. C.The parents were resistant to it. D.The students showed no interest. 2.What can we say about the team’s first show? A.It won the referees’ favor for the team. B.It attracted more members for the team. C.It helped the team join the tournament. D.It demonstrated the team’s competitiveness. 3.Which of the following can replace the underlined word “intimidate” in paragraph 5? A.Discourage. B.Entertain. C.Misjudge. D.Welcome. 4.Which of the following best describes the author? A.Warm-hearted and generous. B.Active and modest. C.Determined and supportive. D.Athletic and humorous. 【答案】1.B 2.D 3.A 4.C 【导语】这是一篇记叙文。文章主要讲述了作者组织学校的学生进行手球比赛的经历。 1.细节理解题。根据第一段“This became a challenging task as the sports teacher was unwilling to initiate anything other than traditional sports, such as cricket and rugby.(这成为一项具有挑战性的任务,因为体育老师不愿意发起传统运动,比如板球和橄榄球)”可知,在圣安东尼开始手球很难是因为老师们反对。故选B。 2.细节理解题。根据第四段“After three months of hard training, we were able to send an under-19s boys’ team to compete with 50 other schools at the first three-day, all-island school handball tournament held in Colombo — the country’s most populous city. And its influence in education and culture has been growing too. The Confucius Institute offering free language classes has gained increasing popularity in both Hungary and Serbia. By offering opportunities to learn Chinese language and traditional arts, Confucius Institutes bring Chinese culture closer to interested learners serving as bridges between nations. During my childhood, I held an unspoken fascination for Asian culture a passion cultivated through watching dramas such as the Monkey King. At the time, the idea of studying this captivating region didn’t occupy my mind. My turning point came when the desire to challenge myself led me to choose China for further education. It was a decision — not only for academic growth, but also to experience the responsibility of looking after myself. Taking the road that is less traveled means less company, less comfort. But it also means forging a life with an entirely different perspective I am seeking. Undertaking Chinese language training presented a remarkable opportunity for many reasons. I firmly believe that acquiring proficiency in the language of the culture is not merely useful, but is also an effective means to truly understand that culture. The combination of learning the language in a classroom setting and applying it in everyday life offers an enriching experience. I participated in the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations held by my local Confucius Institute, such as trying my hand at Chinese crafts providing me with a first-hand experience of the culture. Liu’s road to architecture was not smooth. He grew up in a family of doctors, but he was always interested in art. He spent his childhood drawing and reading, which laid a solid foundation for his later career. Before entering college in 1978, he had worked as an “educated youth” in the countryside for five years. This period of tough work and close observation of farmers’ life gave him a deep understanding of the needs of ordinary people. He learned to see beauty in simplicity and to value the connection between humans and the environment — lessons that would become the core of his building idea. Liu’s works are famous for combining tradition with modernity and respecting the local environment. He advocates the “low-tech strategy”, using local and cheap materials to create comfortable and practical spaces. He recycles materials from earthquake ruins to make “recycled bricks”, which are used in many reconstruction projects. His well-known works include West Village Courtyard and Luye Garden Stone Carving Art Museum, which show his love for his hometown and care for people. Liu’s love for creation and care for people finally made him stand out in the world. As he put it, architecture should show the inner beauty of a place and connect people with their homes. His works not only bring comfort to people’s life, but also pass on Chinese culture to the world. “My education was not just about drawing blueprints,” Liu recalled in an interview. “It was about learning how to use architecture to tell the stories of the people I grew up with.” 1.What can we learn about Liu from the first two paragraphs? A.He longed to be a doctor. B.He was good at observing. C.He dropped out of university. D.He was the first Pritzker winner. 2.What is paragraph 3 mainly about? A.Liu’s youth and education background. B.Liu’s concern about the environment. C.Liu’s method of collecting materials. D.Liu’s building idea and typical works. 3.What does Liu think architects should do? A.Tell their own stories. B.Connect people with places. C.Follow good examples totally. D.Draw beautiful blueprints only. 4.What does the Liu’s experience show? A.Life shapes design. B.Attitude is everything. C.Easier said than done. D.Never too old to learn. 【答案】1.B 2.D 3.B 4.A 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。主要介绍2025年普利兹克建筑奖得主刘家琨的成长经历、建筑理念与代表作品,及其对建筑的理解。 1.细节理解题。根据第二段中的“This period of tough work and close observation of farmers’ life gave him a deep understanding of the needs of ordinary people.(这段艰苦的劳动以及对农民生活的细致观察,让他深刻理解了普通人的需求。)”可知,刘家琨善于观察。故选B项。 2.主旨大意题。根据第三段中的“Liu’s works are famous for combining tradition with modernity and respecting the local environment. He advocates the “low-tech strategy”, using local and cheap materials to create comfortable and practical spaces. (刘家琨的作品以融合传统与现代、尊重当地环境而闻名。他倡导“低技术策略”,利用当地廉价的材料打造舒适实用的空间。)”以及“His well-known works include West Village Courtyard and Luye Garden Stone Carving Art Museum, which show his love for his hometown and care for people.(他的知名作品包括西村庭院和鹿野园石雕艺术博物馆,这些作品展现了他对家乡的热爱与对民众的关怀。)”可知,本段主要介绍刘家琨的建筑理念和代表作品。故选D项。 3.细节理解题。根据第四段中的“As he put it, architecture should show the inner beauty of a place and connect people with their homes.(正如他所说,建筑应展现一个地方的内在美,并将人与家园联系起来。)”可知,刘家琨认为建筑师应将人与地方联系起来。故选B项。 4.推理判断题。根据第二段中的“This period of tough work and close observation of farmers’ life gave him a deep understanding of the needs of ordinary people. He learned to see beauty in simplicity and to value the connection between humans and the environment — lessons that would become the core of his building idea.(这段艰苦的劳动和对农民生活的细致观察让他深刻理解普通人的需求。他学会在简约中发现美,重视人与环境的联系——这些经验成为他建筑理念的核心。)”可知,生活经历塑造了他的设计思想,体现了“生活塑造设计”。故选A项。 Passage 2 (24-25·安徽·课后作业) My high school experience was an exercise in frustration for everyone involved. I was in a lot of high-level classes because my test scores were superb, especially in languages. I never got less than an A on any language test-English, Spanish or French. Even a score under 95% was very rare. However, most of my language teachers found this irritating rather than encouraging because I didn’t pay attention in class. I drew during lectures and my homework grades were far from satisfaction due to me almost never handing anything in. As an adult, I think many of them believed I had to be cheating, especially the one who refused to give me a bonus point on a test that would have raised my average score to an A for the quarter because I was not an A student on account of my study habits in her eyes. My mom tended to force me to complete my piles of missing assignments during the last week of each quarter, so that I didn’t completely destroy my otherwise good grades. I had exactly one Spanish teacher who I was able to convince that I really was learning in class, regardless of what my pencil was doing at the moment. And it was completely by accident. One day, she asked a general question in class. I was the only one to raise the hand to answer. I did so, and she replied in a somewhat stunned tone that I was correct. Why so surprised? Because at no point in this process did I look up from the drawing I was working on with my other hand. I didn’t think she figured out that the drawing was actually helping me pay attention, but she at least realized it wasn’t damaging anything and stopped blaming me when she caught me drawing instead of taking notes. 1.What was the author like while in high school? A.He was appreciated by most teachers. B.He was misunderstood for his learning style. C.He usually relied on cheating in exams. D.He did well in exams as well as homework. 2.Why did the teacher refuse to give the author a bonus point? A.She looked down upon the author. B.The author didn’t hand in his homework. C.She thought the author didn’t deserve it. D.The author always drew in class. 3.How did the author’s mother treat him? A.She convinced the teacher of his genuine learning. B.She reminded him to be concentrated in class. C.She was indifferent to his behaviour. D.She pushed him to finish the missing homework. 4.Which words best describe the Spanish teacher? A.Tolerant and responsible. B.Strict and humorous. C.Capable and friendly. D.Committed and cheerful. 【答案】1.B 2.C 3.D 4.A 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文。作者高中时成绩优异但上课不专心,常被老师误解。一位西班牙语老师偶然发现作者虽画画但仍在学习,便不再责备他。 1.细节理解题。根据文章第二段“However, most of my language teachers found this irritating rather than encouraging because I didn’t pay attention in class. I drew during lectures and my homework grades were far from satisfaction due to me almost never handing anything in.”However, most of my language teachers found this irritating rather than encouraging because I didn’t pay attention in class. I drew during lectures and my homework grades were far from satisfaction due to me almost never handing anything in. (然而,我的大多数语言老师觉得这很烦人,而不是鼓励,因为我在课堂上没有专心听讲。我在上课时画画,由于我几乎从不交任何东西,我的家庭作业成绩远未令人满意)”可知,作者的学习方式和其他孩子非常不一样,他在课堂上画画,不交作业,经常会被误解为不认真学习的孩子,所以老师们并不欣赏他。因此,他因为学习方式而被误解。故选B项。 2.细节理解题。根据文章第二段“As an adult, I think many of them believed I had to be cheating, especially the one who refused to give me a bonus point on a test that would have raised my average score to an A for the quarter because I was not an A student on account of my study habits in her eyes. (作为一个成年人,我认为他们中的许多人认为我肯定是在作弊,特别是那位老师,她拒绝在考试中给我加分,本来那会使我的季度平均分达到A,因为在她看来,由于我的学习习惯,我并不是个能得到A的学生)”可知,这位老师认为作者的学习习惯不好,不值得给他加分。因此,她认为作者不配得到这个加分。故选C项。 3.细节理解题。根据文章第三段“My mom tended to force me to complete my piles of missing assignments during the last week of each quarter, so that I didn’t completely destroy my otherwise good grades. (我妈妈倾向于在每个季度的最后一周强迫我完成一堆遗漏的作业,这样我就不会完全毁掉我原本的好成绩)”可知,作者的妈妈会推动作者完成缺失的作业。故选D项。 4.推理判断题。根据文章第四段“Because at no point in this process did I look up from the drawing I was working on with my other hand. I didn’t think she figured out that the drawing was actually helping me pay attention, but she at least realized it wasn’t damaging anything and stopped blaming me when she caught me drawing instead of taking notes. (因为在这个过程中,我从未用另一只手从我正在绘制的图纸上抬起头来。我以为她没有意识到这幅画实际上是在帮助我集中注意力,但她至少意识到这并没有破坏任何东西,当她发现我画画而不是做笔记时,她就不再责怪我了)”可知,老师看到我没有记笔记却能回答正确问题时,她没有责备我,或者贸然认为我没在认真听课,老师能够包容学生上课的表现并且谨慎对待,因此她是一个宽容而且对学 生负责的老师。故选A项。 Passage 3 (2025·安徽黄山·二模) I can’t remember how many times I’ve been asked, “If you could have a superpower, what would it be?” My answer would always be the same: I’d want the ability to know what people are thinking. Absolutely, flying and invisibility had crossed my mind. But every time, I’d always settle on perceiving people’s thoughts. As a curious person, I’m always wondering what is going through someone’s head. And what if I somehow had the superpower I’d always wanted, like Hal Stewart in Megamind, and was able to hear people’s inner voice? In a friend group, I usually take a backseat in conversations, watching everyone else interacting and occasionally contributing my opinion. Seeing how people communicate with each other makes me wonder what is really going on in their heads. Whether we admit it or not, we always keep some thoughts to ourselves. It’s human nature, after all. Yet our tendency to hide certain feelings and unintentionally judge others keeps me on edge. It’s what makes me want to know what people are thinking I’m constantly afraid of what people think of me. Do I look bad? Did I do something wrong? These thoughts often consume me and make me overthink. I overthink people’s reactions, movements and even words. I overthink past conversations I had, wondering what I could have said instead to make me sound less stupid or more genuine. Ultimately, I’ve come to realize that it shouldn’t really matter what other people think. While knowing what people think of me may settle any doubts I have about myself or a relationship, it’s an overwhelmingly (压倒性地) exhausting ability to have. Indeed, it’s not worth wasting time, energy and emotions worrying about whether you appear cool to someone. You only have so much control over that. Focus on what you can control, but don’t overthink. At the end of Megamind, Hal realizes all his “superpowers” made him the villain(坏蛋). They consumed him; having the powers wasn’t worth it in the end. So let go. Because in the end, does it really matter what other people think? No superpower is 100 percent worth it. 1.What special ability was the author eager to possess? A.Flying in the air freely. B.Being made invisible. C.Controlling others’ thoughts. D.Reading people’s minds. 2.How does the author describe himself in a social circle? A.He dominates conversations. B.He is a relatively reserved one. C.He consistently shares his opinions. D.He is more of a talker than a listener. 3.What is the author’s final realization about the superpower? A.It doesn’t appear cool at all. B.It can’t settle any doubts about himself. C.It can be time-consuming and stressful. D.It makes him overthink positive things. 4.What can be the best title for the text? A.Let Go of These Thoughts B.The Pursuit of Superpower C.Keep Your Thoughts to Yourself D.The Burden of Superpower 【答案】1.D 2.B 3.C 4.A 【导语】本文是一篇夹叙夹议文。文章主要讲述了作者对于拥有“读心术”这一超能力的渴望,以及这种渴望背后的心理动机——对他人想法的好奇和对自我认知的焦虑。 1.细节理解题。根据文章第一段“I can’t remember how many times I’ve been asked, “If you could have a superpower, what would it be?” My answer would always be the same: I’d want the ability to know what people are thinking. Absolutely, flying and invisibility had crossed my mind. But every time, I’d always settle on perceiving people’s thoughts.(我不记得有多少次被问到:“如果你能拥有一种超能力,你希望是什么呢?”我的答案总是一样的:我希望拥有能够知道别人在想什么的能力。当然,飞行和隐身的能力也在我的考虑范围之内。但每一次,我最终还是会选择能够感知他人想法的能力。)”可知,作者每次被问到如果能拥有一种超能力想要什么时,答案总是想要知道别人在想什么的能力,也就是能够读懂人们的心思。故选D。 2.细节理解题。根据文章第二段“In a friend group, I usually take a backseat in conversations, watching everyone else interacting and occasionally contributing my opinion.(在一个朋友群体中,我在交谈时通常会退居幕后,看着其他人互动,偶尔发表一下自己的观点。)”可知,在朋友群体的交谈中,作者通常处于次要位置,看着其他人互动,只是偶尔发表一下自己的观点。这体现出作者在社交圈子里是比较含蓄、内敛、不那么活跃和主动表达的。故选B。 3.推理判断题。根据文章第四段“While knowing what people think of me may settle any doubts I have about myself or a relationship, it’s an overwhelmingly (压倒性地) exhausting ability to have.(虽然知道别人对我的看法可能会消除我对自己或一段关系的任何疑虑,但拥有这样一种能力实在是太累人了。)”以及第五段“Indeed, it’s not worth wasting time, energy and emotions worrying about whether you appear cool to someone. You only have so much control over that. Focus on what you can control, but don’t overthink. At the end of Megamind, Hal realizes all his “superpowers” made him the villain(坏蛋). They consumed him; having the powers wasn’t worth it in the end.(的确,不值得为了担心自己在别人眼中是否看起来很酷而浪费时间、精力和情感。 A“Let Go of These Thoughts(放下这些想法)”能够概括文章内容。故选A。 主题03 人与自然 Passage 1 (2025·安徽池州·二模) In 1999, Giuliana Furci, founder and founding director of the Fungi (真菌) Foundation, developed a deep interest in fungi. They were everywhere, and the 20-year-old took particular joy in the variety of mushrooms: small and button-shaped; tall and umbrella-like; round with red caps topped with white flakes. Some were commonly found in people’s diets, for they were rich in nutrients such as vitamin, fiber, minerals and protein. But Furci also quickly realized that these fungi went largely ignored in Chile, where there were few guidebooks and an almost total lack of policies and resources to protect them from over-harvesting and other human activities. Determined to correct this, Furci wrote a field guide and set up the Fungi Foundation—a nonprofit dedicated to fungi conservation. In her guide, special attention went to the role of fungi in the ecosystem. “Life on the planet wouldn’t exist without fungi,” said Greg Mueller, a mushroom conservation expert. “Because of their relationship with forests and trees, we can’t survive without fungi. In terms of the health of the planet, they’re incredibly important to humans and the overall ecosystem.” Fungi can break down plants and animals, thus cycling nutrients and increasing their availability in the soil. They are also important contributors to the soil carbon stock through the same process. What’s more, fungi have been found to help degrade (降解) various pollutants, such as plastic. And mycelium (菌丝体), which is the root structure of mushrooms, is now being used to replace unsustainable materials, such as plastic and animal-based products. Because of these, exploration of fungi was expanded at a faster pace. However, some were already listed as critically endangered. In 2010, Furci took an even bigger step—with other environmental nonprofits, she put forward a proposal for the government to systematically assess how large new developments such as housing, dams, and highways affect fungi. In 2012, a law was passed and Chile became the first country in the world to protect fungi by law. 1.What can we learn about Furci from the first two paragraphs? A.She enjoyed collecting mushrooms. B.She was fond of cooking mushrooms. C.She worried about the situation of fungi. D.She had a habit of writing field guidebooks. 2.What is Paragraph 3 of the text mainly about? A.The life on earth without fungi. B.The importance of fungi on earth. C.The relations between trees and fungi. D.The practical uses of fungi in the future. 3.How did Furci protect the ecosystem? A.By writing free instructions on plants. B.By starting a non-profit ecotourism company. C.By raising awareness of the importance of fungi. D.By passing laws to ban over-harvesting mushrooms. 4.Which of the following best describes Furci’s work? A.Ground-breaking. B.Debatable. C.Romantic. D.Unmatched. 【答案】1.C 2.B 3.C 4.A 【导语】这是一篇记叙文。文章主要讲述Furci意识到真菌对地球上生命的重要性后通过写指南、成立基金会等方式来呼吁人们关注并保护真菌。她和其他环保组织的行为甚至促使智利通过了一项保护真菌的法律。 1.细节理解题。根据第二段中“But Furci also quickly realized that these fungi went largely ignored in Chile, where there were few guidebooks and an almost total lack of policies and resources to protect them from over-harvesting and other human activities. (但弗奇也很快意识到,这些真菌在智利基本上被忽视了,那里几乎没有指导手册,几乎完全缺乏保护它们免受过度捕捞和其他人类活动影响的政策和资源)”可知,Furci担心真菌的现状。故选C。 2.主旨大意题。根据本段第一句““Life on the planet wouldn’t exist without fungi,” said Greg Mueller, a mushroom conservation expert. (“如果没有真菌,地球上的生命就不会存在,”蘑菇保护专家格雷格·穆勒说)”并结合本段其他内容可知,本段主要介绍了真菌对地球上生命的重要性。故选B。 3.推理判断题。根据第二段中“Determined to correct this, Furci wrote a field guide and set up the Fungi Foundation—a nonprofit dedicated to fungi conservation. In her guide, special attention went to the role of fungi in the ecosystem.(为了纠正这一点,弗奇写了一本野外指南,并成立了真菌基金会——一个致力于真菌保护的非营利组织。在她的指南中,特别关注了真菌在生态系统中的作用)”可知,为了保护真菌,Furci写了指南并成立了真菌基金会。由此推知,Furci通过提高人们对真菌重要性的认识来保护真菌。故选C。 4.推理判断题。根据最后一段中“In 2010, Furci took an even bigger step—with other environmental nonprofits, she put forward a proposal for the government to systematically assess how large new developments such as housing, dams, and highways affect fungi. In 2012, a law was passed and Chile became the first country in the world to protect fungi by law.(2010年,Furci与其他环保非营利组织一起迈出了更大的一步,她向政府提出了一项建议,要求政府系统评估住房、水坝和高速公路等大型新开发项目对真菌的影响。2012年,智利通过了一项法律,成为世界上第一个以法律保护真菌的国家)”可知,Furci和其他环保组织的行为甚至促使智利通过一项保护真菌的法律。由此推知,Furci的工作是有开创性的。故选A。 Passage 2 (2024·安徽芜湖·二模) In 2000, all my family were coming back from a T-ball game. Unlike every other weekend, a surprise was waiting for us in our driveway—two adult geese and a small goose. Obviously startled by our return, the adults flew away in panic, with their baby left behind. Hours passed before night eventually fell. It was apparent that the small goose needed protection, warmth and food to make it to the morning. We brought him to our backyard. Each morning, we would try to drive the small goose away to his parents, who kept coming back to our yard. He wouldn’t go to them, though, and neither would they come close enough to take him back. Realizing the young goose had clearly decided we were his family by then, we gave him a name, calling the little guy Peeper. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Before we knew it, the little creature had grown into a big bird with two powerful wings. One day, when my dad threw Peeper into the air, he just flew away and didn’t come back. With night falling, all of us became increasingly worried. We looked for him, called his name and anxiously expected his return. But he never appeared again. It took a long time before we accepted the fact that he was missing. We could only pray he found his parents and went off on his natural way. I was thrilled to see when, in 2019, an adult goose made his way back to my family home. He did all of the same things Peeper used to do! Much to my amazement, he even responded to the name Peeper. It became clear to me that my old best friend had returned many years later. This experience has been as meaningful to me as anything in my life. Looking beyond our reach high in the sky, birds have feelings like human beings, so do many other living things. We human beings should learn to get along with them. We need each other’s care and protection for a better world. 1.Which word can replace “startled” in Paragraph 1? A.scared. B.confused. C.impressed. D.surprised. 2.Why does the author give the goose a name Peeper? A.Because the small goose was abandoned by its parents. B.Because the author considered it to be his best friend. C.Because the small goose regarded the author’s family as family members. Passage 2 (2026·安徽滁州·二模) The district championship game between Academy and Apache was intense. Passage 4 (2025·安徽·二模) It’s common to see a barista (咖啡师) create coffee art, but it’s a whole different ballgame doing the same thing with tea. A.A History of Chinese Tea Sets B.A Tea Art Reborn from History C.The Interesting Procedures for Making Tea D.The Different Tea Culture Through Dynasties 主题02 人与自我 Passage 1 (2026·安徽蚌埠·二模) Shetara Sims had weathered some tough years. A.A Lottery Win That Brought Mutual Warmth B.A Police Officer Who Got Support from a Stranger C.A Poor Family Whose Life Was Changed by Faith D.A Kind Police Team That Helped a Single Mother Passage 2 (2026·安徽马鞍山·二模) I only became a regular bike rider several years ago, and it has become one of the joys of my life. Passage 3 (2026·安徽淮北·二模) I will never forget the moment I crossed the finish line of my first marathon in Detroit, Michigan. Passage 4 (2025·安徽淮南·二模)A Great Oak Table — plus accompanying benches capable of seating 60 comes after locals raised £ 22,555 to transform a 500-year-old oak tree that fell in a storm 15 years ago into what they believe is the longest table ever to be crafted from a single oak tree. 主题03 人与自然 Passage 1 (2026·安徽合肥·二模) Since 2019, our institute, the Institute of Biology and Chemistry of Proteins in Lyon, has reduced its carbon footprint by about 13% through changes in lab practices. Passage 2 (2025·安徽安庆·二模) Britta obtained her doctor’s degree from Portland State University, focusing on the ecological and social aspects of microplastics in shellfish in the Pacific Northwest. She has a strong interest in plastic pollution, fisheries, and fishing communities. With over ten years of experience in fisheries management and marine (海洋的) conservation, she has served as an Assistant Area Management Biologist for Shellfish in the Bering Sea. As the Associate Director for Ocean Plastics Research at Ocean Conservancy, Britta leads various research projects related to the impacts of plastic pollution, such as the spread of microplastics in the human food system, the movement of rubbish from inland to the sea, and public awareness of the issue. In her daily work, she ensures that she and the Trash Free Seas program team stay updated on the latest developments in plastic science, which has been growing rapidly in recent years. Britta is based in Portland, Oregon, and enjoys being only a few hours away from the diverse ecosystems and recreational opportunities in the Pacific Northwest. She grew up in a beautiful, coastal, small town in Alaska. Her daily explorations of tide pools and muddy coastal flats during her childhood fired her love for the ocean and its incredible biodiversity. This love led her to a career in promoting sustainable fisheries, marine protected areas, and a cleaner, rubbish-free ocean. Her favorite things about the ocean are the many strange and unique creatures she has encountered and continues to encounter around the world, like leafy sea dragons. What she loves most about her career in ocean conservation is the community of people who work tirelessly to protect it. This community includes not only marine conservation workers but also ocean crews worldwide who always try to leave the beaches and coastal areas they visit in a better condition. These people give her hope that she will be able to create more memories in beautiful coastal places and enjoy delicious seafood for many years to come. 1.What is the main focus of the first paragraph? A.Britta’s academic achievements. B.Britta’s work and interests. C.Ocean life in the Pacific. D.Alaska’s fishing regulations. 2.What research does Britta lead? A.Fish species’ plastic intake. D.She moves to another coastal area for work. 4.Which of the following can best describe Britta? A.Adventurous and creative. B.Professional and committed. C.Tireless and ambitious. D.Productive and humble. Passage 3 (2023·安徽马鞍山·二模)I have always had pets. 主题01 人与社会 Passage 1 (2025·安徽马鞍山·二模) When handball was introduced to Sri Lankan schools in 2010, I wanted to bring it to my school, St Anthony’s, in the remote village of Wasalakotte. Passage 2 (2024·安徽淮北·二模) As a big country, China’s economic and political influence is felt around the world. If given another chance, I would explore even deeper into the rich cultural tapestry that surrounds me. Exploring renowned landmarks like the oriental Pearl Tower previously unvisited, felt like embarking on a new journey of discovery. I can say that along this path, I am gradually learning that valuable lessons unfold step by step. 1.What is the main function of the Confucius Institute in global cultural exchanges? A.Offering language courses with a very small fee. B.Fostering international understanding of Chinese culture. C.Promoting Chinese tourism and business opportunities abroad. D.Serving as a platform for economic cooperation between countries. 2.What makes the author decide on further education in China? A.The TV drama the Monkey King. B.The Asian cultural fascination. C.The desire for whole-person growth. D.The dream to study in a foreign place. 3.Why does the author share her experience with Mid-Autumn Festival? A.To highlight the challenges of living abroad. B.To encourage others to participate in local festivals. C.To criticize the traditional classroom language learning. D.To emphasize interactive learning in cultural understanding. 4.Which is the most suitable title for the text? A.The Path Less Traveled B.Language as a Bridge to Culture C.Guide to Studying Abroad in China D.Embracing Art: Beyond the Classroom Passage 3 (2024·安徽安庆·二模) Brian Tracy is a very famous Canadian-born motivational speaker, and it is safe enough to say that he is one of the best ones out there. B.Connect people with places. C.Follow good examples totally. D.Draw beautiful blueprints only. 4.What does the Liu’s experience show? A.Life shapes design. B.Attitude is everything. C.Easier said than done. D.Never too old to learn. Passage 2 (24-25·安徽·课后作业) My high school experience was an exercise in frustration for everyone involved. Passage 3 (2025·安徽黄山·二模) I can’t remember how many times I’ve been asked, “If you could have a superpower, what would it be?” My answer would always be the same: I’d want the ability to know what people are thinking. A.Let Go of These Thoughts B.The Pursuit of Superpower C.Keep Your Thoughts to Yourself D.The Burden of Superpower 主题03 人与自然 Passage 1 (2025·安徽池州·二模) In 1999, Giuliana Furci, founder and founding director of the Fungi (真菌) Foundation, developed a deep interest in fungi. Passage 2 (2024·安徽芜湖·二模) In 2000, all my family were coming back from a T-ball game. D.Because the adult goose went back several years later and recognized the author. 3.What’s the author’s attitude towards the comeback of the goose? A.Calm and indifferent. B.Surprised and delighted. C.Hopeful and determined. D.Concerned and sympathetic. 4.What does the author intend to do by writing this passage? A.To call for people’s love for geese. B.To share a story between a goose and his family. C.To raise people’s awareness of environmental protection. D.To remind readers to live in harmony with wild animals. / 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
