In the city of Zhengzhou, there is a hotpot restaurant
called Shengyousheng that is doing something very special. It
gives jobs to people who are hearing-impaired-that means they
cannot hear well or at all.
The restaurant's name includes the words "more"and
"sound,"which shows its hope to bring more voices into the
world.About half of the workers there have trouble hearing,

walls. These posters show simple hand signs, like how to say
“thank you”by placing one hand near your chin(下巴)and
moving it forward. There are also signs for“food,”“hello,”
and "wait a moment."Next to each picture,there are easy-to-
read words,so customers can understand what the hand signs
mean. Each table also has cards that customers can use to write
messages to the staff if needed.
Shengyousheng is not only helping people with hearing loss
