Last Wednesday, I had a really bad day. It was stormy. The wind bowled outside and the heavy rain hit the windows loudly. I woke up late because my alarm clock didn't go off. I rushed to catch the bus,but it left just as I arrived. So I had to walk to school in th rain. My shoes and uniform got completely wet. When I finally
got to school, I found Id left my math homework at home. My teacher was angry and asked me to finish it after class.
I felt cold and upset all day. I wanted was that the day would end soon. By evening, I even caught a slight cold. What an unlucky day!
An Unexpected Day
My name is Susanna. In our city, there was an earthquake at 8:32 yesterday evening. At that time, I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom. My mother was cleaning up the kitchen and my father was watching TV in the living room. My elder sister Alice was working on her computer in her room. We were very scared. Luckily, the earthquake was not strong and it didn't last long. And we were all safe.
