Question:
What does Mr Jenkins mean by saying “there’s no such thing as a good or a bad student”? Use examples from the text to explain how he put this idea into practice with Graham.
Mr Jenkins means every student has strengths, and we shouldn’t label them “good” or “bad”.
For Graham, Mr Jenkins didn’t judge him by his bad behaviour. Instead, he found Graham loved science, helped him build confidence, and made him a successful science writer.
