One of the skills is how to find a ___12___ between competing and teamwork. All sports are competitions and there is always going to be a winner and a loser. But in order to win, kids shouldn’t just ___13___ what they want for themselves. They should do what they need to do for the team. Many kids understand that winning isn’t everything. Dear Sun Meng,
In your last email, you asked me how to deal with stress and worries. One good way that many students in my country find helpful is using a worry box. Let me explain how to make and use one.
Try using a worry box
Make a special box
Use colourful things and pictures to make your worry box.
Write down your worries
Take some pieces of paper and write down your worries.
Rate (评价) your worries and store them in the box
If you like, place each worry on a scale (等级) from 1 to 10. 1 means “a little worried” and 10 means “the most worried”. For example, today I put two worries into the box. I rated “losing my new bike” as a 7 and “worrying about the maths exam” as a 4.
Talk them out
Make sure to make some time every day or week to talk about your worries with your parents. Together, you can find ways to deal with them.
21. What did Sun Meng write in her last email to Anna?
A. She asked for advice. B. She shared her grades.
C. She made an invitation. D. She talked about Chinese culture
22. What is the worry box?
A. A box used to keep toys. B. A box used to store worries.
C. A box for keeping expensive things. D. A box that helps you forget your worries.

25. What is the main topic of the letter?
A. How to deal with disagreements. B. Ways to communicate with parents.
C. How to make and use a worry box. D. The importance of keeping a diary.

Every noon, when it is time for students to have a short sleep, students from a school in Shenzhen open the table flap, lie on their chairs and rest for a while. Recently, the school has introduced the special chairs for students to rest during the lunch break. This trial run has been made across three grades, with over 1300 sets provided for all the students.
“Before this, I could only rest at my desk for a while, often leading to numb hands and a sore neck. Sometimes I even found myself pressing my eyes against my arms, causing discomfort,” the 15-year-old Zhang told the reporter. “Now, lying down to sleep is very comfortable.”
For Wang, lying down to sleep has made her more willing to rest. “I used to sleep for about 20 minutes at most before we got up. Now I choose to sleep 10 to 20 minutes earlier,” said the 15-year-old girl. She added that the longer sleep time also helps her do better in her afternoon studies.
According to Xu Weimin, a sleep expert in Shanghai, lying down for a sleep has great advantages physically and mentally. “It can relax the muscles (肌肉) and improve blood flow to the brain,” Xu told Xinhua.
However, there have also been some worries about the special chairs. “Some students might lie on their chairs even during class, so it needs effective management,” Chu, an English teacher told the reporter. “But all in all, I think it brings more good than bad.”
26. What problems does resting at the desk cause according to Zhang?
①Numb hands. ②A sore neck. ③Uncomfortable eyes. ④Sore legs.

A. The sleep expert’s idea. B. Lying down for a sleep.
C. Relaxing the muscles. D. Improving blood flow.
29. What is the right structure of the passage? (P1=Paragraph 1)
A. B. C. D.
