Also, in most schools, grass fields act like a soft study desk for students to read books and learn. 27 they can be used to just talk, laugh and play on.
Besides, families enjoy 28 their weekends on the grass in parks. There, families can set up a picnic and children can play games.
However, there is 29 rule to make people enjoy the green grass. In some parks, there are different grasslands for people to relax and play sport on. If people want to relax, they’d better choose the right field, or they 30 feel the full force of a football!

Table manners can be very different from country to country. What is polite in one culture might be considered rude in another. Learning about these differences is important when you travel or eat with people from other countries.
In China, it’s common to share dishes. Food is placed in the center of the table, and everyone takes food from the shared plates using their own chopsticks or serving spoons. It’s polite to let elders or guests start eating first. You should never stick your chopsticks upright in a bowl of rice because this reminds people of incense (香) used at funerals. When you finish eating, it’s polite to leave a little food in your bowl to show that you are full.
In Japan, people say “itadakimasu” before eating, which means “I humbly receive this food.” After the meal, they say “gochisosama deshita” to thank the person who prepared the food. It’s acceptable to slurp (发出吸食的声音) noodles in Japan—it shows you are enjoying your meal. However, you should avoid passing food from chopstick to chopstick, as this is also associated with funeral rituals.
In many Western countries, table manners are quite different. People usually have their own plate of food. They use a fork in the left hand and a knife in the right. When taking a break from eating, they place the knife and fork crossed on the plate. When they finish, they put the knife and fork together on the plate at the 4 o’clock position. It's considered impolite to talk with food in your mouth or to make noise while eating.
In India and some Middle Eastern countries, people often eat with their hands. But there are rules: you should only use your right hand to eat because the left hand is considered unclean. Before eating, you should wash your hands thoroughly.
Understanding these differences helps us show respect to other cultures. When in doubt, watch what locals do and follow their example. Remember, good manners are about making others feel comfortable.
46.What is the right order of what to do at a Chinese dinner table?

In many parts of the world, when children turn a certain age, like 16 or 18, they will have celebrations (庆典) for their coming of age (成年). It is an important time.
In Japan, young people become adults when they turn 20. The country celebrates it on the second Monday in January. The new adults dress up in traditional clothes for it. Then, they go to a special event After all that, the new adults can really celebrate. They take lots of pictures and go to parties with their friends and families.
For the Teochew people (潮汕人) in China, teenagers become adults at 15. Families have a special event for them on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. It’s called Chu Hua Yuan, and it means “leaving the garden”. Before the event, the new adults have to clean their bodies with flower water. That washes bad things away. Then, they put on new clothes and special shoes, and they give thanks to their parents. Lastly, the new adults enjoy a big meal with 12 dishes. 2.thanks
3.pleased
句中固定搭配be pleased with表示“对……感到满意”,此处was为be动词的过去式,后面需要使用形容词作表语。动词please的形容词形式为pleased,用来形容“人感到高兴、满意”。故填pleased。
4. unimportant important
5. informal formal
6.surprised

Being independent
Chu Hua Yuan, meaning “leaving the garden”. It is a special traditional custom in Chaoshan, Guangdong. It is an adult ceremony for 15-year-old teenagers.
This tradition marks that they are growing up and should take more responsibility for themselves. It also carries parents’ warm wishes for their future.
Being independent is really important. If teenagers are independent, they can solve problems by themselves and face challenges bravely. I think this meaningful custom helps us learn to be independent and grow into responsible young people.
