语法填空常用做题方法:
1、只给一个空格,未给单词提示
(1)考虑常用的并列连词,分析空格前面和后面是否是句子(有一套完整的主谓宾等)
and 并列关系;but 转折关系;or “或者”-选择关系;because 因果关系
(2)考虑冠词。
①分析空格后面是否为“形容词+单数名词”或“单数名词”,从而不定冠词a/an
②若空格后面是“形容词”,填定冠词the时,需考虑是否为“一类人”,如the poor 穷人;
或者分析空格后的单词是专有名词、独一无二的事物等,也用定冠词the,如 the moon 月亮
(3)考虑介词或副词。分析横线前是否为动词,考虑动词词组或 固定搭配的词组。
①“动词+副词”类。如:take off(起飞,脱下) come out(结果是,出来,出现)
②“动词+介词”类。如:meet up(遇见,会面)look forward to(期待)
③固定搭配。如:go on a trip 去郊游 by bus(坐公交汽车)
2、给动词
(1)考虑动词的时态
找:时态标志词
连词(and,but,or,because,因为这些连词连接的句子时态前后一致)
①一般现在时(考虑填写原形还是第三人称单数)
②现在进行时(考虑be动词用单数还是复数,以及动词进行时态doing的变化方式)
③一般过去时(考虑动词过去时态did的变化方式)
(2)考虑动词原型(do)
常考点:①使役动词make, let, have等后接不带to的不定式作宾补。如:make sb. do sth. 让某人做某事
②感官动词see, hear, watch, feel, notice等后既可接不带to的不定式作宾补,也可用v-ing作宾补。
前者(不带to的不定式)表示动作已结束,后者(动名词)表示动作正在进行。
如:see sb. doing sth.看见某人正在做某事 see sb. do sth. 看见某人做过/经常做某事
(3)考虑动词不定式或动名词
一般空格前会有一个动词,根据这个动词的用法和句意判断。
①使用动词不定式(to do)。如:learn to 学习;want to do 想要;help to do帮助;need to do需要 等。
②使用动名词(doing)。如:enjoy 喜欢;keep 保持;finish 完成;feel like 想要 等

(1)判断是否可数(2)考虑名词的单复数
4、给数词
(1)给基数词(one,two,three……)考虑序数词,根据句子意思填写。
①观察空格前是否有定冠词“the”,如“on the second(two)floor”在第二层
②观察空格前是否有名词性物主代词,基数词后面是否为名词,如“my first competition”我的第一次比赛
(2)给序数词(first,second,third),考虑变为副词——查看前后文是否是类似的词,而且文章基本上是给出建议或者提出问题的应用文。
如:…… secondly(second),we should help our parents do housework. ……第二,我们应给帮助家长做家务。
5、给人称代词(I,he, she, it, you, we, they, ……)——根据句意,考虑不同形式的转换
(1)主格,宾格(2)形容词性物主代词(3)名词性物主代词(4)反身代词
6.给形容词——考虑变为副词,因为副词可以修饰形容词和动词
(1)空格的前或后面是动词。如:the boy in the red runs quickly(quick).这个穿着红色衣服的男孩跑得快。
(2)空格的前或后面是形容词。如:The sky today is extremely(extreme)beautiful.今天的天空相当美。
