写作第一节
Robot performance at the 2026 Spring Festival Gala left me utterly amazed. The robots, with
precise and fluent movements, perfectly blended traditional art with cutting-edge technology,
impressing the entire audience deeply.
From my perspective, this show vividly reflects China's rapid progress in technological
innovation, which proves that advanced science can inject new vitality into traditional culture,
boosting our cultural confidence greatly.
As teenagers,we should cherish the opportunity to learn scientific knowledge well.We are
supposed to cultivate our curiosity and creativity, stiving to make greater contributions to our
motherland's future development.
第二节
Paragraph 1
As soon as I stepped into the house,my parents noticed my umsual depression.Instead of
pressing me for details immediately,my mother gently pulled me to sit at the table, placing a cup of
warm milk in my hand, while my father sat beside me with a soft smile."We saw your tiredness
these days,"he said softly,No matter what the result is,we're always proud of you."The warm
light of the dining room wrapped around me,and the familiar smell of home-cooked food calmed
my racing heart.I stared at the steam rising from the milk,my throat tightening with unspeakable
emotion.
Paragraph 2
Hearing their warm words,I couldn't hold back my tears any longer.I sobbed out the whole
story of my exam failure, pouring out all my frustration and self-doubt.My mother patted my back
gently, saying,"Adversity is the best teacher of growth."My father added,"What matters is not the
score, but the courage to stand up again."Their words were like a warm current melting the ice in
my heart.I wiped my tears, determined to pick myself up,learn from the mistakes, and keep
fighting for my dream with renewed strength.

Text 10
W:A company called Abeja Negra SOS in Mexico City aims to find new homes for bees threatened
with destruction by bee removal services.
18 Its leader,Adriana Veliz,is an animal doctor. She said she started noticing calls about beehive
removal needs while she was working for the government.Therefore.she and other co-workers
began looking for a way to remove the bees and their homes without destruction. They decided on
re-homing the insects.
In 2019,the United Nations declared that bee loss is a serious threat to worldwide food security.
19Adriana Correa Benitez is a professor researching bees at the National Autonomous
University of Mexico. She said the loss of bees could make it more difficult for Mexico to deal with
climate change.
20Because many of the bees in Mexico come from African roots, they can be more aggressive
than the average honeybees. Some people living in the city fear bee attacks and bee stings.
During the last 5 years,Abeia Negra SOS has saved bees in hives all around the capital city.It
has re-homed about 510 hives. The average population of such a hive is 80,000 bees.

可表
Our favorite feature of the GoPro Hero 12(and the GoPro 11)is the horizon lock.It uses its almost square
sensor and gyroscope system to lock off the horizon no matter the camera's angle.Imagine a steady horizon
while you ride your mountain bike through rough terrain.
Tip:The only thing missing from the GoPro 12 is a geolocation system. This was removed to help
improve the camera's runtime.

cellphone app's editing mode.
With the Insta360 X3,you can edit the captured content on your phone (or computer)as a vertical or
horizontal video. This lets you reframe the video in whatever way you want in a user-friendly way.

Fourteen years ago,Australian cancer sufferer David Ian Burn visited Songshan Mountain in Henan
province to learn Zen techniques to try and improve his chances of beating the disease.
While the area is famous around the world for Shaolin Kung Fu,it is also becoming known for other
cultural aspects including Chan Wu Yi,which combines Zen meditation, kung fu and traditional Chinese
medicine, and has been promoted by Master Shi Dejian for 30 years.
In 2010,Burn stayed for two weeks on the steep mountain and learned about Chan Wu Yi from the master.
"This time was really important to my recovery,"said the Australian, now aged 72."His (Shi Dejian's)
counsel and support enabled me to go into the hospital well-prepared,confident and relaxed. He also
provided me with some herbal medicine, which was very useful to me after the surgery."
Since then,Burn has continued to live as a vegetarian, and still practices Chan Wu Yi.
"Practicing internal cultivation has become a normal part of our lives, and it can be said that Chan Wu Yi
is our basic way of life.I am grateful for the connection with the masters and their continuous kindness,"he
said, adding that he is writing a book to provide an understanding of Chan Wu Yi culture to more Westerners.
Stretching from east to west for over 60 kilometers,Songshan Mountain is eulogized in folklore as the
"origin of all mountains"and according to ancient script has "72 peaks on the mountains and 72 temples
below”.
Its spectacular,well-preserved angular rock shapes were formed by three violent movements in the earth's
crust, the most recent 570 million years ago, when the Himalayas and the entire Qinling Range were
submerged under the sea.

medicine.Their ability to kill bacteria without harming the patient has saved billions of lives and made
surgical procedures much safer. But after decades of overuse, their powers are fading. Some bacteria have
evolved resistance, creating a growing army of superbugs, against which there is little effective treatment.
Antimicrobial resistance, expected to kill 10 million people a year by 2050 up from around 1
million in 2019,has been seen as a crisis by many.
It would be unwise to rely on new antibiotics to solve the problem. The rate at which resistance emerges is
increasing. Some new drugs last only two years before bacteria develop resistance. When new antibiotics do
arrive, doctors often store them, using them only reluctantly and for short periods when faced with the most
persistent infections. That limits sales, making new antibiotics an unappealing idea for most drug firms.
Governments have been trying to fix the problem by channeling cash into research in drug firms. That has
produced only limited improvements. But there is a phenomenon worth a look.Microbiologists have known
for decades that disease-causing bacteria can suffer from illnesses of their own. They are supersensitive to
attacks by phages, specialized viruses that infect bacteria and often kill them.Phages are considered a
promising alternative to antibiotics.
Using one disease-causing virus to fight bacteria has several advantages.Like antibiotics, phages only tend
to choose particular targets, leaving human cells alone as they infect and destroy bacterial ones.Unlike
antibiotics, phages can evolve just as readily as bacteria can, meaning that even if bacteria do develop
resistance, phages may be able to evolve around them in turn.
That,at least,is the theory. The trouble with phages is that comparatively little is known about them. After

the discovery of penicillin, the first antibiotic,in 1928,they were largely ignored in the West.Given the
severity of the antibiotic-resistance problem,it would be a good idea to find out more about them.
The first step is to run more clinical trials.Interest from Western firms is growing. But it is being held back
by the fact that phages are an even less appealing investment than antibiotics.Since they are natural living
things, there may be trouble patenting them, making it hard to recover any investment.
Governments can help fund basic research into phage treatment and clarify the law around exactly what is
and is not patentable. In time they can set up phage banks so as to make production cheaper. And they can
spread awareness of the risks of overusing antibiotics, and the potential benefits of phages.
28.What can we infer about new antibiotics from Paragraph 2?
A.They can solve the antimicrobial resistance completely.

C.Phages have been widely used in the West for nearly 100 years.
D.Phages can kill all kinds of bacteria without choosing targets.
30.What stops Western companies from developing phage therapy?
A.The serious side effects of phages.
B.The difficulty in patenting phages.
C.The strong support from governments.
D.The rich clinical research data of phages.
31.What is the author's attitude towards phage treatment?
A.Doubtful.

Some men,after divorce,buy a sports car,but Rory Barton,a 44-year-old advertising executive,chose an
Urban Arrow-一alow-slung(低车架的)bike with a front box for children. He purchased it second-hand for
$4,500,a bargain compared to its retail price.Mr.Barton uses it to transport his two children to school
year-round,relying on a raincoat instead of a car. This reflects a broader trend:while overall bicycle sales in
America have slowed post-pandemic,family e-bikes are challenging the decline.
Brett Thurber, owner of The New Wheel bike stores in San Francisco, notes that family e-bike sales have
grown from zero to a majority of his business over the past decade.Popular brands like Tern, from Taiwan,
can carry up to three children and cost thousands. The convenience of e-bikes,rather than environmental
concerns,is driving this boom.Parents, mostly fathers, praise the ability to skip traffic, avoid persuading
ungovernable children into car seats, and never worry about parking.
E-bikes are typically replacing the second family car,not the primary vehicle.Few parents abandon cars
entirely, but many short trips of one to three miles-too far for toddlers to walk and hard to reach by public
transport-are efficiently handled by bike.Molly Fleck,a Chicago lawyer,bikes her five-year-old to
activities like soccer practice and birthday parties. This shift is partly due to rising car traffic;since the
1960s,more parents drive children to school, leading to punishing blocks.
According to the National Household Travel Survey, driver shortages and budget restriction mean fewer
traditional school buses, exacerbating traffic. One survey found most parents believe their careers suffer
from school runs.Safety remains a concern,as bike infrastructure in American cities is often inadequate.
However,e-bike parents don't see this as permanent.Howard Carter,a father in Denver, remarks that biking

has made him more engaged in municipal government, such as supporting road-narrowing plans.
Ultimately,e-bikes offer a practical solution for urban families, reducing reliance on cars and fostering
community involvement. As revolutions begin with a push of the pedal, this trend highlights how small
changes can address larger issues like traffic and environmental impact.
32.What does the example of Rory Barton want to show?
A.Family e-bikes are much cheaper than sports cars.
B.He prefers second-hand goods to save money.
C.Family e-bikes are becoming a popular choice.
D.He dislikes driving cars to send children to school.
33.What is the main reason for the popularity of family e-bikes?
A.Their great convenience.
B.Their eco-friendly design
C.Their high carrying capacity.
D.Their affordable prices
34.The underlined word "exacerbating"in Paragraph 4 most probably means
A.improving
B.solving
C.causing
D.worsening
35.What is the text mainly about?
A.The development of bike infrastructure in America.
B.How to solve the problem of traffic congestion in cities.
C.A new trend of family e-bikes among American parents.
D.Reasons for the decline of overall bicycle sales post-pandemic.

Finding Nemo just got trickier. Why?Because it looks like clownfish are shrinking. The colourful fish,
made famous by the popular animated film, can quickly reduce their size as a way to deal with heat stress,a
study in Science Advances suggests.36
Researchers studied 67 pairs of clownfish living in reefs off Kimbe Bay in Papua New Guinea during the
marine heatwave of 2023.37 Adult clownfish grow to be about 8cm long but these animals lost a
couple of millimetres in the space of a few months."This is not just about getting skinnier under stressful
conditions, these fish are actually getting shorter,"says Melissa Versteeg.
It's well known that animals can evolve to become smaller over generations.38 For example,
some fish on remote islands gradually shrink in size. But these are evolutionary changes that occur across
hundreds of years.
It may not sound it but this rapid response is actually good for the fish.Shrinking increased individuals'
chances of surviving the heatwave by as much as 78 per cent, the team found.39 We don't yet know
if other fish species are also shrinking during heatwaves but,if they are,it could explain a bigger trend:
many ocean fish are getting smalier.
Other explanations include pollution, habitat degradation, overfishing and food web disruptions.40
A.They measured the fish every month for five months and found 75%shrank.
B.The study also solves the problem of worldwide overfishing in the oceans.
C.This finding may explain why fish worldwide are becoming smaller in warmer seas.
D.Island dwarfism is a typical case caused by limited resources on'islands.
E.Marine heatwaves are becoming more frequent as global temperatures rise.
F.Many cartoon characters are based on lovely sea animals like clownfish.
G.So this rapid shrinking could be a key new explanation for smaller fish.

As the college entrance examination is approaching, the air in senior three is filled with tension and
anxiety.Every day, every minute seems to be counted.Every senior three student is buried under piles of
books and endless mock exams, struggling to pursue their dreams. For months,I have been working
extremely hard.I bumed the midnight oil regularly, sipping bitter coffee to keep my eyes open, and recited
countless words and formulas.I spared no effort in every subject, holding an unshakable belief that my
constant hard work would eventually bear fruit and I would make remarkable progress in the upcoming
crucial monthly exam.
However, life is full of ups and downs. The recent crucial monthly exam turned out to be a total disaster.
When the results were announced,my grades dropped sharply, far below my usual level and even lower than
many classmates who I once thought were inferior to me.Staring at the disappointing papers,I was totally
shocked and heartbroken. My hands trembled as I held the paper, and the red marks seemed to be laughing at
me mockingly. All the careful revision, the endless exercises, and the late-night efforts seemed to be in vain,
turning into a pile of waste paper.
Facing the frustrating results,I was overwhelmed with sorrow, frustration and heavy self-doubt.I buried
my head in my arms and hid in the corner of the classroom.I lowered my head all day at school, unwilling to
make eye contact with anyone or talk with my classmates.I locked myself in the classroom silently after
class, with tears rolling down my cheeks unconsciously. The sound of the turning pages of the book felt like
a heavy hammer hitting my heart.
I was terrified that I would let my parents down deeply. They have always been my strongest supporters,
sacrificing their time and energy to take care of my daily life and encourage me endlessly.Worse still,I
gradually lost faith in continuing to fight for my dream university.I didn't dare to face my parents, let alone
tell them the bad news. When evening fell,I dragged my feet home slowly, with a heavy heart and downcast
eyes. The street lamps cast long, lonely shadows behind me.I even feared to see the warm lights glowing at
home, worrying about the disappointment that would flicker in their eyes the moment they saw my report
card.
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;
2请按如下格式在相应位置作答。
Paragraph 1:As soon as I stepped into the house,my parents noticed my unusual depression.
Paragraph 2:Hearing their warm words,I couldn't hold back my tears any longer.
