From friendships to work stress, more Chinese people are now using AI tools like Doubao (豆包) to talk about their problems. They share feelings with the chatbot (聊天机器人) and get warm advice. This is called “AI therapy (疗愈)”, which is becoming popular online. But can robots really take the place of human therapists (治疗师)?
Around the world, 45 percent of people who needed mental (心理的) health care in 2025 did not get it because it was too expensive or there weren’t enough doctors, according to Huntington Psychological Services. Daniel Lowd, a professor at the University of Oregon, believes AI could help solve these problems. “If people can find some support and ideas by talking to ChatGPT or chatbot, then I think that’s wonderful,” Lowd told Newsweek. Li Yong, a doctor at the Jiangsu Province Hospital, agreed with Lowd, saying that AI meets people’s needs for emotional support.
However, AI may cause problems sometimes. Human therapists can understand feelings deeply through face-to-face talks, but robots can’t. Another problem is safety. AI might act like a therapist without proper training or rules. It can’t be as careful as human therapists.
Experts believe the key to safe AI therapy is strict control. For example, Wysa, an AI mental health app, follows strict medical standards in the UK. While AI offers quick help, human connection plays an important role for serious emotional needs.
63. What is “AI therapy” according to the passage?
A. Making friends with an AI chatbot. B. Giving solutions with the help of professors.
C. Using AI tools in our daily lives. D. Looking for advice from a chatbot.
64. What problem can chatbots solve according to Daniel Lowd?
A. Not enough time to relax. B. Strict medical treatment.
C. The great need for mental health care. D. Terrible relations between people.
65. What is a problem with AI chatbots according to the passage?
A. They cannot offer different treatment plans. B. They can’t be as careful as human therapists.
C. They cannot follow strict medical standards. D. They might take away jobs from human therapists.
66. What do experts think about “AI therapy”?
A. It brings more problems than benefits. B. It is good but needs strong control.
C. It will totally change the health care industry. D. People shouldn’t depend too much on AI chatbots.
67. What can human therapists do better than AI chatbots?
A. Understand feelings deeply through face-to-face talks. B. Offer quick help at any time.
C. Follow simple medical standards. D. Give advice for free.

①In recent years, more and more people, especially teenagers, are facing weight problems. To solve it, Three-Year Action Plan for Weight Management has been carried out.
②The plan mainly focuses on two key aspects: a balanced diet and regular exercise. A balanced diet is the basis of good health. It means eating many kinds of foods, including plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins (低脂蛋白质), while reducing the intake (摄入) of high-fat, high-sugar and high-salt-foods. For example, instead of having fried chicken every day, we can choose chicken breast. Vegetables like broccoli and carrots are rich in vitamins and minerals, and they should be included in our daily meals.
③ Similarly, regular exercise is quite important. It can help burn calories and build up muscles. The plan suggests that teenagers should do at least 60 minutes of exercise every day. Activities such as running, riding a bike, and playing basketball are great choices.
④Schools play an important role in this plan. They have added more nutrition classes to teach students about healthy eating. Also, more PE classes are arranged (安排) to make sure students get enough exercise. Some schools even organize weight-management clubs, where students can share their experience and support each other in achieving their weight-management goals.
⑤Parents also need to cooperate (合作). They should set a good example by having a healthy lifestyle at home. For example, they can cook healthy meals together with their children and go for family walks regularly.
⑥ The Three-Year Action Plan for Weight Management hopes to help people, especially teenagers, develop healthy habits and keep a proper weight, which will benefit them throughout their lives.
68. What is the main purpose of the plan?
A. To add more PE classes in schools. B. To help solve people’s weight problems.
C. To encourage people to join sports clubs. D. To lead people to lose weight without exercising.
69. What can we learn from the passage?
A. Fewer adults are facing weight problems.
B. Regular exercise is more important than a balanced diet.
C. The plan advises teenagers to do at least 30 minutes’ exercise every day.
D. Parents play an important role in the plan.
