Green Valley Eco-Camp 2026
Sunrise Travel Group has been organizing eco-friendly summer camps since 2005. Our camp is set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, where clean rivers, thick forests and open fields offer the perfect environment for kids to connect with nature.
Small group sizes
We divide campers into small teams based on age and interests, so every child can get enough attention from our trained teachers.
Activities
Our activities include hiking, bird-watching, creative nature art, and learning to build small wooden shelters. Campers must follow safety rules, and swimming alone in the river is strictly forbidden.
Local culture experience
The Highlands are rich in local traditions. Campers will learn to make traditional Scottish bread and listen to stories about the area’s history. They will also have the chance to visit a local farm and learn about animal care.

Recently, a new kind of tourism called “special forces style tourism” has become popular in China. It means visiting many places of interest in a short time, usually on weekends. Most visitors are college students.
Yu Yinghua, a 22-year-old student in Shanghai, started this kind of tourism in March. She was attracted by travel bloggers’ experiences online. “I stayed at school for nearly three years because of the pandemic. I really want to travel in my free time,” she said. She usually plans her trips carefully before going out, which helps her save time and enjoy the places better. On her last trip to Shanghai, she visited nine local attractions in one day and walked nearly 30,000 steps. “Though tiring, it’s as enjoyable as longer trips,” she said.
Chen Junjun, a 24-year-old doctoral student, also likes this kind of travel. She took a two-day trip to Xi’an in April to relax from her busy studies. “It brings color to my stressful life,” she said. But she added that it’s not for everyone. It takes a lot of energy and isn’t as flexible as longer trips. “You need lots of energy and a calm mind for it,” she explained.
This fast-paced short trip shows young people’s active attitude towards life, letting them explore the world and relax themselves in limited spare time.
4.What does "special forces style tourism" refer to?
A. Visiting many places of interest in a short time.
B. Joining a special military training.
C. Traveling only during long holidays.
5.Why did Yu Yinghua start "special forces style tourism"?
A. She wanted to take photos for her own travel blog.
B. She was tired of staying at school for long and wanted to travel.
C. She planned to move to Shanghai and visit all the attractions.
6.What did Chen Junjun think of this kind of tourism?
A. It is suitable for all people.
B. It is relaxing and very flexible.
C. It can add fun to her stressful life.
7.What do we need most for "special forces style tourism" according to Chen?
A. A lot of money.
B. Good planning.
C. Enough energy and a calm mind.
答案4.A 5.B 6.C 7.C
解析:
4.A 根据文章第一段第二句“It means visiting many places of interest in a short time, usually on weekends.”可知,“特种兵式旅游” 是短时间内游览多个景点,对应选项A。选项B、C均与原文描述不符。
5.B 根据文章第二段“I stayed at school for nearly three years because of the pandemic. I really want to travel in my free time”可知,她开启这种旅游的原因是疫情期间长期待在学校,渴望在空闲时间旅行,对应选项 B。选项 A、C文中均未提及。
6.C 根据文章第三段“It brings color to my stressful life”可知,她认为这种旅行能为紧张的生活增添色彩,与选项C表达的意思一致。根据第三段“But she added that it’s not for everyone. It takes a lot of energy and isn’t as flexible as longer trips. ”可知,它不适合所有人,也不如长途旅行灵活,因此A、B选项错误。
7.C 根据第三段最后一句“You need lots of energy and a calm mind for it”可知,她认为这种旅行需要充足的精力和平稳的心态,对应选项C。选项A文中未提及,选项B是Yu Yinghua提到的旅行准备,并非Chen的观点。

About five kilometers from the White House in Washington, D.C., there is a historic building called President Lincoln's Cottage. It is closely connected with President Abraham Lincoln, who spent about a quarter of his time there during his term and made many important decisions.
Washington, D.C. is very hot in summer, so Lincoln went to this country house to get away from the heat. Every morning and evening, he rode between the White House and the cottage on horseback without guards, and the trip took about thirty minutes. The cottage was on higher ground than the White House, so it was cooler and quieter, and it also was a good place for him to think and write.
Lincoln wrote a lot there, including early versions of The Emancipation Proclamation(《解放黑人奴隶宣言》), one of the most important documents in American history. During the Civil War, soldiers protected him at the cottage. He once survived a murder attempt there when someone shot at him, but his tall hat stopped the bullet(子弹)and he was not hurt.
Lincoln visited the cottage for the last time on April 13, 1865. The next day, he was shot and died. The cottage opened to the public in 2008.
8. Why did Lincoln go to President Lincoln's Cottage in summer?
A. To meet soldiers there.
B. To escape the hot weather.
C. To write important documents.

10. Which of the following is TRUE according to the passage?
A. Lincoln spent half of his term in the cottage.
B. The cottage was lower than the White House.
C. Lincoln survived a murder attempt at the cottage.
11. What can we know from the passage?
A.Lincoln was shot and killed on April 14, 1865.
B. The Emancipation Proclamation was finished in the White House.
C. Soldiers protected Lincoln all the time and he was happy with it.

10.C 根据第一段“It is closely connected with President Abraham Lincoln, who spent about a quarter of his time there during his term and made many important decisions.”可知,林肯任期内约四分之一时间住在小屋,不是一半,A选项错误;根据第二段“he cottage was on higher ground than the White House...”可知,小屋地势高于白宫,不是更低,B选项错误;根据第三段“He once survived a murder attempt there when someone shot at him, but his tall hat stopped the bullet and he was not hurt.”可知,有人枪击他,帽子挡住子弹,他幸免于难,C选项正确。
11.A 根据最后一段“Lincoln visited the cottage for the last time on April 13, 1865. The next day, he was shot and died.”可知,次日即4月14日,林肯遇刺身亡,A选项正确;根据“Lincoln wrote a lot there, including early versions of The Emancipation Proclamation...可知,《解放黑人奴隶宣言》初稿是在小屋完成,不是白宫,B选项错误;文中只提到内战期间士兵保护他,没有提及他对此感到开心,C选项错误。

What happens when robots run a half marathon? The Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon gave us a fun answer!
On April 19, 2026, over 100 robot teams and 12,000 human runners started the 21-kilometer race together. The robots had to face 9° slopes, sharp 90-degree turns, and bumpy roads. It was a tough test of their running and thinking skills. The winner was "Lightning," a robot from the Honor team. It finished in just 50 minutes and 26 seconds—even faster than the human world record! But not all robots were so lucky. Some were quite funny to watch.
One robot ran very slowly, shaking its arms like a happy dancer. Every few minutes, it would stop and spin in circles as if it was lost and looking for the finish line. Another big robot kept bowing to the crowd during the race, like a polite but confused butler. People laughed and cheered. Perhaps the funniest moment came when a small robot ran straight into a pile of drink cups at a water station, and got covered in water, which looked very silly.
In the end, 39 robots finished the race and set a Guinness World Record. The marathon wasn't just about speed—it showed that robots can be fast, clumsy, and very entertaining!
36. When was the Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon held?
37. Did all the robots finish the race successfully?
38. What is the name of the winning robot?
39. Why did a small robot look silly during the race?
40. What did the robot marathon show to people?
答案
36. It was held on April 19, 2026.
37. No.
38. Its name is "Lightning".
39. Because it ran straight into a pile of drink cups at a water station, and got covered in water.
40. It showed that robots can be fast, clumsy, and very entertaining.
解析:
36.根据第二段第一句“On April 19, 2026, over 100 robot teams and 12,000 human runners started the 21-kilometer race together.”可以举办时间是时间是2026年4月19。
37.根据第二段第一句“...over 100 robot teams and 12,000 human runners started the 21-kilometer race together.”和最后一段“In the end, 39 robots finished the race and set a Guinness World Record.”可知只有39台机器人完成比赛,比参赛的机器人少很多,说明并非全部机器人都顺利完赛,故回答 No。
38.根据第二段“The winner was "Lightning," a robot from the Honor team.”可知,获胜的机器人是Lightning。
39. 根据第三段“Perhaps the funniest moment came when a small robot ran straight into a pile of drink cups at a water station, and got covered in water, which looked very silly.”可知,小机器人撞上水杯堆、浑身沾水,看起来很滑稽。
40.本题主旨类题型,根据文章最后一句“...it showed that robots can be fast, clumsy, and very entertaining!”可以得出答案。
