(25-26九年级下·天津南开·开学考试)One day, Debbie’s doorbell rang suddenly. It was 16-year-old Amy from next door. “Help! My brother Dylan is bleeding!” she shouted.
Debbie and her sister Ellen ran to their house to find 8-year-old Dylan bleeding heavily from a bad cut in his arm. Amy was looking after Dylan while their mum was shopping in the supermarket. Dylan fell while running through the house, carelessly cutting his arm by a glass door.
Debbie recently took a first-aid course and knew what to do. “I knew I needed to put pressure on him to stop bleeding. I got a towel from the bathroom and used it to press on the wound,” she said. Dylan was crying, so Debbie comforted him while pressing on the towel to stop the blood from flowing. She told Ellen to call for an ambulance because she knew the cut would need medical treatment. Amy was so uncomfortable to see Dylan’s blood that she had to go and wait in another room. Just as the ambulance arrived, Dylan’s mother came home. She was very shocked (震惊的) and scared but held Dylan’s arm quickly. Then the two of them travelled to the hospital together in the ambulance.
A few weeks later, Dylan got well and was back from the hospital.

抢分04 语言学习(学习中文)
(2025·四川攀枝花·中考真题)Many people are trying to learn a new language. Some consider it a hobby. Others have to learn a language because of their jobs or studies. As a foreigner who is really interested in Chinese culture, I like learning Chinese.
It is thought that a person needs to know at least 3,000 Chinese characters (汉字) to understand most Chinese newspapers. The problem for most foreigners, however, is that knowing 3,000 characters sounds like an impossible task, because many of the Chinese characters look the same. That’s why some people give up halfway. It’s the most arduous part for me, too. But I managed to learn how to write each character by watching videos online. Whenever I saw a character I didn’t know in the street or on a menu, I would just write it down on my phone and then look it up. Slowly, I’ve learned the common characters in daily life.
It’s also important to listen to Chinese as much as possible. I downloaded (下载) a lot of listening materials onto my phone and listened to them on the way to school and work. I also watched a lot of Chinese TV shows and films, where the words are not so difficult, and there are always subtitles (字幕). It’s really helpful for my listening.
As for speaking, I practice talking about different topics in Chinese when I am walking around, talking to myself or in my head, thinking through different conversations and situations. For example, whenever I was going to a shop, I would think about how to say that in Chinese. It helps me to think in a Chinese way, which is really important.
Learning a language is never easy. As for me, I just use every tool on hand and take my learning step by step, and I’m still learning new things to this day!

B.Because he wants to move to China.
C.Because he wants to have Chinese friends.

A.Traveling around China. B.Thinking like a Chinese.
C.Watching Chinese movies. D.Reading Chinese newspapers.
19.What does the author suggest (暗示) at the end of the passage?
A.It is easy to talk with Chinese people.
B.It is a wise decision to learn a language.

抢分06 天文观测的新发现(认识月食)
(2026·河南周口·模拟预测)From the late night of September 7th to the early morning of September 8th, 2025, an amazing total lunar eclipse (月全食) took place. During this time, the Moon turned completely red for about 83 minutes. People call it the “Blood Moon”. But what made the Moon turn red like that? Is it magic?
Actually, it’s not magic. It’s a “light show” carefully directed by our own planet. During a total lunar eclipse, the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon are in a straight line, with the Earth in the middle. When the Moon moves fully into the dark area created by the Earth, it’s hidden because it can’t get any direct light from the Sun.
But here’s the fascinating part: the Earth is covered by the atmosphere (大气层). When sunlight passes through the atmosphere, something magical happens. The atmosphere scatters (折射) blue and purple light more strongly. At the same time, red and orange light can pass through the atmosphere more easily. Some of the red and orange light goes through the atmosphere and then changes its direction and shines onto the Moon’s surface. That’s why the Moon appears red during a total lunar eclipse.
So, there’s no need to be intimidated by the “Blood Moon”; it’s a beautiful and natural event to be enjoyed bravely. Interestingly, the red color isn’t always the same. If there’s more dust (灰尘) in the Earth’s atmosphere, the Moon appears darker red because more light is scattered. If the atmosphere is clearer, the Moon appears brighter, with a more orange-red color.
If you see a “Blood Moon” next time, don’t worry. You can proudly tell others what’s happening.
26.Which of the following pictures can best show a total lunar eclipse?
A. B.
C. D.
27.Why does the Moon turn red during a total lunar eclipse?
A.Because the Moon is covered with dust.
B.Because the Moon’s surface is naturally red.
C.Because sunlight changes color when passing through the Moon.
D.Because the Moon only receives the Sun’s orange and red light.
28.Which of the following can take the place of “intimidated by” in the text?
A.pleased with B.scared of C.interested in D.excited about
29.What can we know if the Moon looks darker red during a total lunar eclipse?
A.The atmosphere is thinner than usual. B.The Moon is farther from the Earth.
C.There is more dust in the atmosphere. D.Less light is scattered by the atmosphere.
30.In which unit of a textbook can the text be found?
A.Unit 1 Fun in the Sun B.Unit 2 Save Our Planet
C.Unit 3 The Wonders of Nature D.Unit 4 The Light of Technology
抢分07 野生动物的保护(普氏野马保护项目)
(25-26九年级上·湖北武汉·期末)I stood on the wide grassland of Kazakhstan. My heart raced as we prepared to open the transport crate (运输箱). Inside were seven Przewalski’s horses. They were the last truly wild horses in the world, and we were about to bring them home.
My journey with these horses began years ago in a zoo. I remember looking into the eyes of a Przewalski’s horse named Hope. Her ancestors once ran freely across the land of Asia. But by the mid-20th century, hunting had nearly made them die out, only about 30 remained in zoos. Many believed they were already a memory of the past.
But we refused to give up. An international team of scientists started a careful breeding program. We kept a detailed “family book” for every horse to ensure healthy future generations. Hope was one of the first healthy horses born under this program.
The real challenge was returning them to the wild. We chose the Golden Steppe (金色草原) in Kazakhstan similar to their ancient home. But getting them there was a difficult task. The journey would take over 20 hours by air and road. We had to use carefully measured sedatives. Too much, they might not wake up properly; too little, they could panic and hurt themselves. I stayed by Hope’s crate the whole flight, speaking softly to her.
Now, the moment had come. As the crate door was lowered, Hope took a careful step forward, then she burst into a run across the land she had never seen but somehow knew. As the second and third horses ran into the steppe, they circled back and looked at us almost as if to say, “Thank you.” Tears filled my eyes. We had not just saved a species. We had given a lost king of the grassland its crown (皇冠) back.
31.The author is probably a member of ________.
A.a local travel agency B.a horse riding club
C.a protection program D.a documentary film group
32.What was the main purpose of the “family book”?
A.To record the numbers of horses. B.To ensure baby horses’ health.
C.To choose the best living places. D.To give each horse a special name.
33.The underlined “sedatives” refers to _______.
A.special foods for long journeys B.medicines to keep calm
C.tools to listen to heart beats D.safety belts in the crate
34.From the last paragraph, what we did for the horses led to _______.
A.bringing back their fame B.returning their natural role
C.building a protected area D.getting back their health
35.What would be the best title for the passage?
A.A Future Program B.An Unexpected Choice
C.The First Wild Horse D.The Long Journey Home
抢分08 仿生学研究新发现(借鉴蚂蚁行为改善交通)
(25-26九年级上·福建泉州·月考)Have you ever watched ants walking in a line? They move smoothly without running into each other or getting stuck in traffic jams (堵塞). Scientists are studying these tiny insects to find solutions to our traffic problems, especially for future self-driving cars.
They discovered that ants have three smart ways to avoid jams. First, they walk in small groups of 3-20 ants. Second, they all move at about the same steady (稳定的) speed. Third, they keep a safe distance between each other and never try to pass the ant in front. The perfect teamwork keeps their traffic flowing (流动) smoothly, even when many ants are moving together.
Human drivers do things very differently. During rush hour, some drivers speed up suddenly or brake (刹车) hard. Some try to pass other cars, while others follow too closely. These behaviors often create traffic jams. Scientists think future self-driving cars could work like ants by communicating with nearby cars to maintain steady speeds and safe distances.
Here are two simple things we can learn from ants to improve traffic today:
· Leave enough space between cars— this gives us time to react and prevents sudden stops.
· Maintain a steady speed— constant (不断的) speeding up and slowing down may cause traffic waves.
By following these ant-inspired tips, we can all help reduce traffic jams and make our roads safer. Maybe one day, our cars will move as smoothly as a line of ants!
36.Why are scientists studying ants?
A.To see them walk in a line. B.To discover what they are eating.
C.To learn to move smoothly around. D.To find out ways to solve traffic problems.
37.What do ants NOT do when walking in a line?
A.Walk in groups. B.Keep safe distances.
C.Try to pass each other. D.Move at steady speeds.
38.What human driving behavior causes traffic jams?
A.Driving at night. B.Using turn signals.
C.Listening to music. D.Sudden speeding and braking.
39.What does the underlined word “maintain” in Paragraph 3 mean?
A.Run. B.Keep. C.Prevent. D.Offer.
40.What is the main idea of the text?
A.Ants are smarter than humans. B.Self-driving cars are dangerous.
C.All traffic jams are caused by speeding. D.Humans can learn from ants to improve traffic.

【答案】26.A 27.D 28.B 29.C 30.C

27.第三段解释了月球变红的原因:“The atmosphere scatters blue and purple light more strongly... red and orange light can pass through the atmosphere more easily... shines onto the Moon’s surface.”,因此月球接收到的主要是经过大气层折射后的橙色和红色光。
28.第四段提到:“there’s no need to be intimidated by the ‘Blood Moon’”,结合后文“it’s a beautiful and natural event to be enjoyed bravely”,可推测“intimidated by”意为“害怕”,与“scared of”意思最接近。
29.第四段指出:“If there’s more dust in the Earth’s atmosphere, the Moon appears darker red”,因此月球颜色呈深红时,说明大气层中灰尘更多。
30.全文介绍月全食这一自然奇观,因此会出现在Unit 3 The Wonders of Nature单元。

A.Walk in groups. B.Keep safe distances.
C.Try to pass each other. D.Move at steady speeds.
38.What human driving behavior causes traffic jams?
A.Driving at night. B.Using turn signals.
C.Listening to music. D.Sudden speeding and braking.
39.What does the underlined word “maintain” in Paragraph 3 mean?
A.Run. B.Keep. C.Prevent. D.Offer.
40.What is the main idea of the text?
A.Ants are smarter than humans. B.Self-driving cars are dangerous.
