第一课时 Section A(1a－1d) & Pronunciation 1、 Teaching Objectives In this class，students will： 1. learn more words and expressions about weather. 2. talk about weather and weather-related activities. 3. pronounce letter combinations ar,er,ir,or,and ur correctly in different words. 4. perceive the rhythm when reading the chant. 2、 Teaching Advice Lead-in Look and Say 1. Present some photos of different types of weather and elicit the words from students to describe weather. The teacher can also encourage students to brainstorm additional related words or expressions. 2. The teacher can present a quiz about weather and ask students to complete it. Students can get more related language input through the quiz. Look and Share 1. Ask students to look at the theme picture and talk about the questions on Page 41. 2. Invite some students to share their answers and give encouraging feedback. 3. Introduce the unit title and ask students to talk about what the title means. Explain the meaning to students.? Pre-listening 1a 1. Present the pictures in 1a and elicit the words from students. For the new words,the teacher can present the pronunciation and the meaning. 2.
