Lead-in
Background Introduction (详见优翼配套教学课件)
1. Present some photos of the three cities mentioned in the video script to students. Check if they can recognize the landmarks,local food and typical scenery of these cities.
2. Simply introduce the three cities or let students watch videos about these cities.
Pre-reading
1a
1. Have students look at the clocks and talk about the times in different places.
2. Let students compare the times in different cities. e. g. When it is evening in Chongqing, it's afternoon in Nairobi and morning in New York.
While-reading

1. Have students read the instruction and answer the question:
What kind of passage is it?
2. Explain what a video script is.
3. Ask students to read the video script and add the times from la into the text.
4. Check the answers with the students.
5. Let students read again and complete the table.

Have students read the script more carefully and answer the questions. The teacher canadd some extra questions in this part.
Chongqing
· Do you know the name of the river in the photo?

1. Have students read the sentences and identify which country the speakers are from,and then
write the names of the places.
2. Ask some volunteers to share their answers.
Post-reading
Think and Share
· Can you explain why the time is different in each city at the same moment?
· Do you think people in these three places have something in common?
· Which city would you like to visit the most? Give your reasons.

Writing
2a
1. Have students look at the picture and list the activities people are doing.
2. Check and review the activities with the students. Encourage them to describe each activity with a full sentence, e.g. Two people are rowing a boat on the lake.
2b
1. Ask students to write a video script by describing what is happening in the park.
2. Remind students to pay attention to the order of the scenes and the tense when writing.
3. Encourage students to use some good expressions from the passage.
4. Invite some volunteers to read their scripts and give feedback.
Summary
Ask students to summarize what they have learned in this lesson.
Homework
Finish the related exercises in the books produced by Youyi.
Blackboard Design
Write some useful expressions and the structure of the post on the blackboard.
Teaching Reflection
Students engaged well in the reading tasks—they easily identified key information about the three cities and completed the tasks smoothly. However, in the writing part, some students struggled to organize scene order as required. Next class,I'll provide more scene-order examples to help them. Overall, the reading goals were met,and targeted writing support will fix the gaps.
