You will need: a glass of milk 112 gram(克)of cream 1/4 spoon of vanilla(香草) 4 spoons of sugar a few drops of food colouring lots of ice and salt small and large freezer bags(冷藏袋) What to do: Step 1 Put the milk, cream, flavouring(调味料), food colouring and sugar into the small freezer bag and shut it(be sure it is closed completely). Step 2 Put about a cup of ice into the large bag and cover the ice with a small handful of salt. Put the small bag into the larger bag. Step 3 Add some more ice and salt until the bag is almost full. Step 4 Shut it and then carefully hold the opposite side of the bag and shake the bag for about 5­8 minutes. Step 5 Open the larger bag and take out the smaller bag—it should be full of ice cream! Step 6 Open and enjoy! The science of ice cream: When you add salt to the ice, the chemistry between the two force the ice to melt. Before the ice can melt, it need to borrow heat from the objects around it. This is called an endothermic process(吸热过程).
