Section Ⅵ　Writing 写作项目——Writing about an artwork 本单元的写作任务是介绍一幅艺术作品，属于事物说明文的范畴。对艺术作品的描写，来源于我们对某一件艺术作品的观察及了解，需要用真实灵动的语言将其创作背景、特点及意义表达出来。 写作技法指导 (一)品参考范文 This sunflower painting is an oil painting by Vincent van Gogh, a great painter from the Netherlands. It was completed in Arles in 1889 and is among his most famous works. It shows sunflowers in a vase, mostly in three shades of yellow, from bright yellows to brownish yellows. I can see the flowers are at different stages of life — some are just starting to bloom and some are starting to wither. The painting leaves a great impression on me. I think it shows the meaning of life. Each of the flowers is trying its best to grow and show its beauty, no matter which stage of life it is at. The painting gives me a deeper understanding of life.
