That_is_why he was late for work. ②He wants to find another job because he can't put up with the pressure here anymore. →He wants to find another job; this_is_because he can't put up with the pressure here anymore. (2)通过“句式仿写”做到熟练运用 ③That_is_the_reason_why he didn't come to your party.(reason) 那就是他没来参加你的聚会的原因。 ④The_reason_why he was late is_that he didn't catch the early bus. 他迟到的原因是他没有赶上早班车。 ⑤I had neither a raincoat nor an umbrella. That_is_why_I_got_wet_through. 我既没有雨衣也没有雨伞。那就是为什么我浑身湿透了。 2.The letters did, however, change as Tolkien's children got older ... 不过,随着托尔金的孩子们渐渐长大,信的内容确实发生了一些变化…… do/does/did后跟动词原形时表示对谓语动词的强调,意为“确实;的确”,此时的句子须符合以下两个条件: ①句子是肯定句; ②句子的时态为一般现在时或一般过去时。 注意:在祈使句中使用“do+动词原形”形式时,往往不表示命令,而表示强烈的请求,有时表达更加客气的语气。 “两层级”学通用活句式 (1)通过“句式变换”弄明句式结构(改为强调句) ①Listening to some soft music relaxes your mood and gives you a new start. →Listening to some soft music does_relax your mood and give you a new start. ②I hope you can take my suggestions into consideration. →I do_hope you can take my suggestions into consideration. (2)通过“句式仿写”做到熟练运用 ③上周日,我的孩子们在海滩玩得确实很开心。 My children did_enjoy_themselves on the beach last Sunday. ④虽然这些问题很棘手,但是他们的确有解决方法。 Although these problems are tough, they do_have_solutions. 根据课文内容,在空白处填入1个适当的单词或括号内单词的正确形式。 Maybe Letters from Father Christmas is the perfect book for those ①who regard Christmas as a special time of year. The author, J.R.R. Tolkien, is one of the most famous ②names (name) in English literature. Every Christmas, an envelope with a North Pole stamp arrived. It ③was_addressed (address) to Tolkien's children. Inside, they would find a handwritten letter from Father Christmas. The letters were also ④beautifully (beautiful) illustrated — each must have taken its true author, Tolkien, a long time ⑤to_complete (complete). In one letter, Father Christmas complained ⑥about how he could not stop his helpers ⑦playing (play) games with the toys instead of wrapping them up.
