一、动词不定式作表语

1.动词不定式作表语往往表示具体的、一次性的、将要发生的动作。其主语常常是wish、idea、task、purpose、duty、job、goal、aim、way等表示意向、打算、计划的词及what引导的主语从句等。
2.动词不定式作表语也常表示预定要发生的动作,或表示未来的可能性或假设。
3.动词不定式作表语时,一般情况下不定式中的to不能省略,但当主语部分含有从句,且从句谓语部分有实义动词do的某种形式时,作表语的不定式常省略to。

二、动词-ing形式作表语

动词-ing形式分为动名词和现在分词两类。动名词可在句中充当主语、宾语、表语和定语;现在分词可在句中充当定语、表语、宾语补足语和状语。
1.动名词作表语,用来说明主语的内容,且主语和表语可以互换位置。
2.现在分词作表语,表示主语的某种性质或状态。

三、动词-ed形式作表语
(1)(教材P<m></m>)He was particularly interested in the old story about a fish jumping through the “Dragon Gate”.

(2)(人教必修一U1) I'm a bit worried about keeping up with the other students in my advanced course, and it'll be quite difficult to get used to all the homework.

1.动词-ed形式可放在系动词be、feel、remain、seem、look、become等之后作表语,往往表示主语所处的状态或状况。作表语的动词-ed形式可用very、quite、much 等修饰。
2.动词-ed形式作表语意为“感到……的”,多用来指人、人的声音或表情等;现在分词作表语意为“令人……的”,多用来修饰物。常见的这类词有amazed/amazing、amused/amusing、 astonished/astonishing、bored/boring、exhausted/exhausting等。

3.动词-ed形式作表语和动词的被动语态的区别:动词-ed形式作表语表示的是一种状态或特征,而被动语态表示的是一个动作,被动意味很强。
