“Do re mi fa sol la ti do,” came the sound from the piano. “Mommy,” called Dina. “Do you think I play nicely?”
“Yes,” said Mommy from the kitchen. “It’s music to my ears.” Mommy tried to ignore (忽视) the noise. Dina knew that she really didn’t know how to play the piano, and that Mommy just said so to make her feel good.
Dina had an idea. She saw a metal candy dish on the piano’s wing and poured out the candies. She placed the dish’s edge on the highest piano key and dragged (拖,拽) it along the others. “Wow, that is nice. Just like a real song,” she said.

“Oh no, what am I going to do?” cried Dina. “Mommy is going to be so upset with me. I shouldn’t have used the candy dish to play the piano.”
Dina heard Mommy hang up the phone. Scared of her mom’s reaction to the damaged piano, she ran out of the back door and hid in the treehouse. She couldn’t hear what was happening in the house but she could only imagine the worst.
A few hours later, Dina got very tired and finally she fell asleep.
Suddenly, Dina woke up to barking dogs. Two policemen found her. They said they’d been looking for her for hours as her mother was worried. Dina realized she’d not only ruined the piano keys but also made Mommy worry.

The 2026 Spring Festival Gala of China Media Group (CMG) has chosen “Qiji Chicheng Shi Bu Ke Dang” as its theme for the Year of the Horse. “Qiji (骐骥)”, a beautiful name for fine horses in ancient China, comes from old Chinese poems. It stands for the Chinese nation’s spirit of moving forward bravely and never stopping. Also, “Qiji” sounds the same as “miracle” in Chinese, showing people’s wish to create miracles and go forward with confidence.
The logo of the 2026 Gala was designed by Gu Yongjiang, who has designed the Gala’s main logo for four years in a row. His design ideas always center on traditional Chinese culture and aesthetics (美学). When designing for “Qiji Chicheng”, the team found that concrete (具象的) horse images from different dynasties, like Han or Tang horses, couldn’t represent horses in a broad sense—everyone has their own idea of a perfect horse. So they turned to Chinese characters themselves. Chinese characters are beautiful because they have both concrete and abstract (抽象的) sides.
The design team combined Chinese characters with traditional patterns such as cloud patterns, thunder patterns and spiral patterns (回纹). The logo not only shows the beauty of traditional Chinese art but also the energetic spirit of modern times. It creates a lively scene of thousands of horses running wild, and forms an endless cycle structure. As Gu Yongjiang said, the logo has a sense of freedom and power, like horses running wildly in the sky, and it also carries the unbreakable spirit of the Great Wall and the unstoppable momentum (气势) of a powerful army. The team also created new lucky phrases to match the logo, making a new kind of lucky culture for the festival.
As the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan, the 2026 Spring Festival Gala will welcome the Year of the Horse with Chinese people all over the world, bringing a warm and new feast (盛宴).
22. The theme “Qiji Chicheng” implies (暗示) ________.
A. a concrete image of a Tang horse B. a wish for miracles and progress
C. the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan D. a quiet and peaceful life
23. Why did the team choose Chinese characters instead of concrete horse images?
A. Characters are easier to draw. B. Ancient horse images are too scary.
C. Characters fit modern aesthetics better. D. Concrete images limit people's imagination.
24. Which pattern is NOT used in the 2026 Spring Festival Gala logo according to the passage?
A. B. C. D.
25. Which of the following best explains the design logic (设计逻辑) of the logo?
A. Concrete Horse Image→Modern Painting B. Chinese Character→Traditional Pattern→Modern Spirit
C. Ancient Poem→Han Dynasty Art→Simple Shape D. Lucky Phrase→Spiral Pattern→Broken Structure

Nobody is more than just a movie. It shows that Chinese stories can be told in fresh, exciting ways. As one viewer (观众) said, “The real hero is someone who keeps trying, even when things are tough (困难的).” This simple but powerful message makes Nobody a must-watch for everyone.

文中第五、六段描写Dina发现琴键被划花后,说“Oh no, what am I going to do?”

The 2026 Spring Festival Gala of China Media Group (CMG) has chosen “Qiji Chicheng, Shi Bu Ke Dang” as its theme for the Year of the Horse.
A B. C. D.
25. Which of the following best explains the design logic (设计逻辑) of the logo?
A. Concrete Horse Image→Modern Painting B. Chinese Character→Traditional Pattern→Modern Spirit
C. Ancient Poem→Han Dynasty Art→Simple Shape D. Lucky Phrase→Spiral Pattern→Broken Structure
【答案】22. B 23. D 24. B 25. B
【解析】
【导语】本文是一篇说明文,主要介绍2026年春晚主题“骐骥驰骋”寓意奋进,logo结合汉字与传统纹样,展现自由与力量。
【22题详解】
文中第一段明确写道“‘Qiji’ sounds the same as ‘miracle’ in Chinese, showing people’s wish to create miracles and go forward with confidence.”,因此该主题隐含对奇迹与进步的期盼。
【23题详解】
第二段指出“concrete horse images from different dynasties...couldn’t represent horses in a broad sense—everyone has their own idea of a perfect horse.”,说明具象图像无法涵盖人们对马的多元想象,因此选择更具抽象性的汉字。

Chinese animated film Nobody became a dark horse sweeping the box office this summer. Many people love it, giving it a high score of 8.6 out of 10 on Douban, a famous review website.
The story follows a small pig monster (妖怪) who lives in a place called Langlang Mountain. He works hard for the Cave King, but doesn’t know how to please the king and makes him angry. After losing his job, he decides to leave the mountain and teams up with three other small and nameless monsters. Together, they pretend (假装) to be the famous group from Journey to the West and start a dangerous journey to grow and find their true selves.
The film touches hearts because it shows the hardship of common people. The little monsters face big challenges and laugh at difficulties. Even though they are weak, they fight bravely.
