Recently, a tourist said in a video that there was no hot water on the Huangshan Mountain. Some tourists also complained online that they failed to get hot water for cooking instant noodles since it was banned by the scenic area. The staff at the scenic area said, “Tourists can get hot water at the rest area in the scenic area. They are also allowed to bring their own food products such as bread and self-heating meals. For those who do not bring food, the scenic area has supermarkets and restaurants.”
This action quickly received understanding and support from the public. “This is necessary. We should follow the rule while enjoying the beauty of nature,” one tourist shared his opinion online. “I support the rule, and we should all play a part in protecting the environment.”

Could you live without a TV for one year? What would you do with all that spare time? Philippa Carling wanted to see if it was possible and persuaded(说服)her family to give theirs up for one whole year.
“I live with my husband and our two children,”explains Philippa, “and I realized just how much time we spent sitting in front of the TV. The children turned it on first thing in the morning and again when they got back from school. My husband and I were no better. We'd spend the evening together talking about very little but what programme was on at that time. Then the family decided, after lots of arguments, that we would try to do without a TV for one year. We had the Internet and everyone was allowed to watch some of the recorded programmes if they had a good reason for doing so.”And so, on 24th July last year, the Carling family sold their TV.
Eleven months have now gone by and Philippa believes the experiment has own a great success. As she explains, “We were all surprised at how easy it was. The immediate result was we all started to read a lot more, including the children. We spend time together after dinner playing board games around the table and the children finish their homework a lot quicker than before. We talk about what will happen when the year comes to an end and the children have always said they want the TV back. But they've also agreed that life has been good without it.”
So will the TV return when the year comes to an end next month? “We're not sure,” says Philippa. “We might decide to buy a new one or we might not. The important thing is we've all learnt that life can carry on without one. It can even be fun!”

One possible version:
I’m glad to write something about it. As we all know that it’s meaningful to take part in the activity. It can not only improve people’s living standards, but also make our city more beautiful. However, lots of people around us don’t have good manners. Some of them can’t obey traffic rules. In some public places, you can see people jump the queue and hear them make a lot of noise. And sometimes people throw rubbish everywhere. Our city becomes more polluted and even dirtier.
In my opinion, all of us should take an active action to make our city more beautiful. We should develop more good manners. We mustn’t do anything against the traffic law. As students, we must try our best to keep our classroom and school clean and tidy.
In a word, if everyone pays more attention to our city, we’ll have a better life. Everybody, let’s take part in this activity actively to make our city more beautiful!
