two students from Bridge Middle School in the UK. They are Doris
and David. Their classes have raised money for their school and
elderly people in the community. First, let's talk to Doris. What did
your class do, Doris?
Doris: We raised money for our school.
Host: When did you do that?
Doris: Last month.
Host: How did your class raise money for your school?
Doris: We organized a dance competition for students. They paid money to
take part.
Host: Wow! That's great. How much money did you raise?
Doris: We raised more than four hundred pounds. We have enough money to
buy new books for the school library now.
