[文体感知]
计划书是做某件事情的详细建议,读者可以从中更好地了解一个项目或者活动。计划书一般包括主题和事件。通常按照时间顺序组织安排科学节事件,每一个事件单独成段。写计划书时要记住目的读者是哪些,计划书的目的是什么,以及要写的内容。写学校科学节计划书应当使用有礼貌的书面语,避免使用主观看法,避免用“你(们)”称呼读者,避免使用缩略语和过多使用简短句。
[常用表达]
1.正式用语和礼貌
正式用语一般较为礼貌,用词较多,一般用于严肃场合或者涉及不熟悉的人。使用正式用语需要避开以下几点:
(1)避开主观看法
The competition helps students overcome the fear of public speaking.
这次比赛帮助同学们克服公共演讲的恐惧。
(2)不要用第二人称
(You)The students need to take notes during the lecture and exchange (your) their ideas after that.
同学们要在演讲期间做笔记并在此后交换看法。
(3)不要使用缩略语
(It’s) It is an instructive event not to be missed by any enthusiastic youth.这是热情澎湃的年轻人不应错过的有意义的重大事件。
(4)不要过多使用简短句。
比如如下的描述可以改写成正式语言。
The salon is open to everyone. Students can take part in it to know more about our customs.
沙龙对所有人开放。学生也可以参加进来,理解更多的传统习俗。
(正式语言)With the purpose of increasing the students’ knowledge of Chinese traditional festivals,the organizers welcome everyone who has interest in the event.
为了增加学生对中国传统节日的了解,组织者欢迎每一个对活动感兴趣的人。
2.选择合适的形容词
用于正式语言的形容词一般意义清楚特别,有别于非正式语言的特色,非正式语言意义不止一个,容易歧义。如:

9.用正式语的形容词重写句1。

10.替换句2的非正式用语,并改成被动句。
They were made real thanks to breakthroughs in materials physics.
11.合并3,4两句,用非限制性定语从句。
On Monday morning,Professor Wang will give a lecture about chemically strengthened glass,which is used as a cover for many portable devices.
12.将第5句变成被动句,并替换非正式用语。
The lecture will be held in the school hall.
13.合并第6,7两句,并替换非正式用语。
Students will be able to find out what new materials they can make and what features their materials will have.
14.用正式用语重写第8句。
This event will encourage them to be bold and creative.
