In zoos, they can live for up to 35 years. People used to cut down forests and kill pandas for their fur. Luckily, the panda population is now growing again. After many years of hard work, giant pandas are no longer endangered. Today, they are listed as a vulnerable species. This means it is still important for us to protect them.
