Last Saturday, my classmates and I volunteered at Shenzhen Safari Park from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It was truly meaningful to experience various activities.
First, under the keepers’ guidance, we helped prepare food and feed gentle animals like giraffes. After that, we moved on to cleaning the animals’ living areas to ensure a good living environment for them. Finally, we helped put up new educational signs for some exhibits, which would help visitors learn more about the animals. We all felt a great sense of achievement.
Through this activity, I not only made new friends but also learned the importance of protecting wildlife and respecting nature. I hope more students can join us in future volunteer activities to contribute to our community.

Last Saturday, my classmates and I volunteered at the city zoo through our school’s program. We joined this activity to gain hands-on experience in animal care and environmental protection.
During our service, we completed three meaningful tasks. First, under the keepers’ guidance, we prepared special diets and participated in feeding elephants and monkeys. Next, we helped clean and maintain the animal habitats. Finally, with the aim of encouraging the public, we designed educational posters and put them up.
