Firstly, we should raise people’s awareness of the importance of going green. What’s more, using public transportation or riding bicycles instead of using private cars can make a great difference to the problem. Last but not least, we shouldn’t pour wastes casually and it is a good idea to classify our rubbish and recycle it in our daily life. I hope you will take an active part in environmental protection activities and contribute to the protection of our earth. That’s all. Thank you. The Students’ Union 第二节 (满分25分) However, it was really not easy for them to find it. Thick fog came, covering almost everything. They had to bend down to search for clues like blood splashes or footprints, which made them walk more slowly, ears sharper than usual. Suddenly, painful roars came to the rescuers and in front of them lay the young elephant. “Look! Unicorn! “Harry rushed forward, cried excitedly, and gently touched the trembling creature. His heart dropped a beat at the sight of the exhausted elephant, with a wound on its left front leg bleeding badly. Without delay, Harry knelt down to do first aid on its wound. Fortunately, everything needed was available in the first aid kit. Calmly and skillfully, Harry conducted an operation on Unicorn immediately, and it seemed more obedient than before. Therefore, it didn’t take much time for Harry to stop the bleeding as an experienced rescuer. And after a while, Unicorn was able to stand up and walked away. It was rescued! Waving goodbye to it, Harry and David felt a heavy burden lifted. At this moment, the whole forest woke up, the moonlight fading while winds singing welcome to the dawn. 原创精品资源学科网独家享有版权,侵权必究!1 学科网(北京)股份有限公司1 / 23 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $听力考试正式开始。The mayor's plastic bottle ban sounds great in theory. noble goal, but no enough rifle stations, people will buy drinks elsewhere. The study showed that light pollution caused birds to sing for an average of 50 minutes longer each day, with some species waking up an hour earlier and settling down for the night an hour later. “We were shocked by our findings,” said Dr Brent, an assistant professor at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The study used recordings from BirdWeather, a citizen science project. It collects users’ recordings of birds in their local area to produce a global live library of birdsong and then allows users to identify birds in their gardens through AI tools. In total, the scientists studied 2.6 million observations of morning birds sound and 1.8 million of evening bird calls, for hundreds of species. The data was joined with light pollution measurements from global satellites. “BirdWeather made it possible to study bird behaviors over a large area and a long time,” said Dr Brent. The results showed that for birds in light-polluted areas, the waking day was lengthened by 50 minutes on average. Species with large eyes, relative to their body size, were most affected by man-made light. “The American robin, Northern mocking bird and European goldfinch all lengthened their day by more than average,” said Brent. “Small-eyed species such as sparrows weren’t affected as much.” The effect of a longer waking day for birds was not yet clear, the researchers said. “We know that sleep loss is not good for humans, but birds are different,” said Dr Brent. “They have developed interesting strategies to deal with loss of sleep during migratory (迁徙) periods.” The change messing up how animals naturally behave was worrying, Dr Brent added, although research showed, in some species, that man-made lighting may give them more time to look for food and find partners and improve the survival rate of baby birds. 24.How does light pollution affect birds? A.It shortens their waking day. B.It makes them sing louder. C.It changes their behavior. D.It damages their habitat. 25.Which part of the research does paragraph 2 focus on? A.Its process. B.Its value. C.Its application. D.Its limitation. 26.What kind of birds are affected most by light pollution? A.Small-eyed birds. B.Large-eyed birds. C.Birds in the city. D.Birds in the countryside. 27.What does Dr Brent think of the man-made lighting? A.It does more good than harm. B.It benefits all species. C.It has no effect on humans. D.It should attract attention. 【答案】24.C 25.A 26.B 27.D 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。文章主要介绍了一项关于光污染对鸟类影响的研究,研究表明光污染会改变鸟类行为,使它们的活动时间延长,大眼睛鸟类受影响最大,虽然人造光对鸟类有一定益处,但它扰乱动物自然行为的影响也令人担忧。 24.细节理解题。根据第一段“The study showed that light pollution caused birds to sing for an average of 50 minutes longer each day, with some species waking up an hour earlier and settling down for the night an hour later.(研究表明,光污染导致鸟类每天唱歌的时间平均延长50分钟,一些物种醒来的时间提前一小时,晚上休息的时间推迟一小时)”以及第四段“The change messing up how  animals naturally behave was worrying, Dr Brent added, although research  showed, in some species, that man-made lighting may give them more time  to look for food and find partners and improve the survival rate of  baby birds.(布兰特博士补充说,尽管研究表明,在一些物种中,人工照明可能会给它们更多的时间来寻找食物和伴侣,并提高幼鸟的存活率,但这种改变打乱了动物的自然行为,这令人担忧)”可知,光污染改变了鸟类的行为。故选C项。 25.主旨大意题。根据第二段“The study used recordings from BirdWeather, a citizen science project. A project in the UK called the “Poo Zoo” is testing whether cells (细胞) in animal waste can be used as tools for preservation. Animal poo is not only full of bacteria (细菌) but also has tiny cells from inside the animal’s body. If the poo is fresh enough, some of these cells are still alive. Researchers have already found living cells in droppings from mice and other animals. These living cells could be used for wildlife rescue. Scientists can take DNA from the cells to study the variety of wild populations and choose which animals can have babies together as parents. In the future, the same cells might even be used to produce baby animals in the lab. One possible method is cloning (克隆), in which the key part of a living cell is put into an empty egg cell and then grows inside another female. A more creative idea is to reprogram these living cells into many types of cells, including sex cells. In mice, scientists have already shown that such cells can be turned into sex cells. If this works for endangered animals, scientists could use lab-made sex cells to help them have babies without catching them or taking sex cells directly from their bodies. The “Poo Zoo” method also has practical advantages. Getting living cells from the blood, skin or hair of rare animals can be dangerous and expensive, but collecting poo is safe and does not hurt the animals. These cells can be kept in bio-banks for years. A wildlife protection organization has successfully cloned an extinct species using preserved cells. However, many experts warn that the “Poo Zoo” method alone cannot save wildlife. They point out that protecting habitats and fighting illegal hunting are still the most important tasks. New tools like those used in the “Poo Zoo” should support rather than replace traditional preservation work. 28.Why can animal waste be used for animal protection? A.Because it has living cells. B.Because it is fresh enough. C.Because it has magic power. D.Because it is rich in bacteria. 29.Why does the author mention mice in paragraph 4? A.To give a successful example. B.To make a sound suggestion. C.To show an unexpected result. D.To compare different species. 30.Which of the following words can best describe the “Poo Zoo” way? A.cheap and productive. B.Creative and expensive. C.Harmless and effective. D.Practical and traditional. 31.What is the experts’ attitude to the “Poo Zoo” method? A.Hopeful. B.Objective. C.Unclear. D.Worried. 【答案】28.A 29.A 30.C 31.B 【导语】这是一篇说明文。英国Poo Zoo项目研究从动物粪便中提取活细胞,用于保护濒危物种,如克隆或培育生殖细胞,该方法安全无创,但专家认为不能替代传统栖息地保护。 28.细节理解题。根据第二段“Animal poo is not only full of bacteria (细菌) but also has tiny cells from inside the animal’s body. If the poo is fresh enough, some of these cells are still alive.(动物粪便不仅富含细菌,还含有动物体内的微小细胞。如果粪便足够新鲜,其中的一些细胞仍处于活性状态)”可知,动物粪便里可能含有仍然存活的细胞,因此能用于保护研究与遗传拯救。故选A项。 29.推理判断题。根据第四段“A more creative idea is to reprogram these living cells into many types of cells, including sex cells. In mice, scientists have already shown that such cells can be turned into sex cells.(一个更具创意的想法是将这些活细胞重新编程为多种类型的细胞,包括生殖细胞。在老鼠身上,科学家已经证明这种细胞可以转化为生殖细胞)”可知,作者提到老鼠应该是为了说明“细胞可被重编程并转化为性细胞”这一想法已有实验成功案例,从而增强观点可信度。故选A项。 30.推理判断题。根据第五段“Getting living cells from the blood, skin or hair of rare animals can be dangerous and expensive, but collecting poo is safe and does not hurt the animals. These cells can be kept in bio-banks for years. A wildlife protection organization has successfully cloned an extinct species using preserved cells.(从稀有动物的血液、皮肤或毛发中获取活细胞可能既危险又昂贵,但收集粪便则既安全又不会伤害动物。这些细胞可以保存在生物库中长达数年。一家野生动物保护组织已经成功地利用保存的细胞克隆出了一个灭绝物种)”可知,从动物粪便提取细胞安全无害,并且可以成功,即无害且有效。故选C项。 31.推理判断题。根据最后一段“However, many experts warn that the “Poo Zoo” method alone cannot save wildlife. They point out that protecting habitats and fighting illegal hunting are still the most important tasks. New tools like those used in the “Poo Zoo” should support rather than replace traditional preservation work.(然而,许多专家警告说,“粪便动物园”方法本身并不能拯救野生动物。他们指出,保护栖息地和打击非法捕猎仍然是最重要的任务。像“粪便动物园”中使用的这些新工具应该支持而非取代传统的保护工作)”可知,专家们既肯定其有效性,又强调不能替代传统保护、仍需栖息地保护和反偷猎,态度是客观理性的。故选B项。 D A cold, cloudy day in late November saw Martin Maiden, a professor at the University of Oxford, plant a Hungarian thorn tree on Thorn Walk, a path that runs across the University Parks between Linacre College and Lady Margaret Hall. This simple act marked the launch (发起) of a new Arboretum Explorer Map that aims to improve the experience of park visitors by unlocking rich details of individual tree species on a smartphone. The University Parks, created in 1854, are home to over 1,900 trees from around 380 species. These trees include both British native plants and rare species from other parts of the world. The park has been carefully maintained by botanists, but until now, learning about the trees up close has been difficult. While inventory booklets (库存手册) have provided useful information in the past, they quickly became outdated as new trees were added and the collection grew. Sam Prior, the University’s Arboricultural Manager, says that surveying and capturing the detail of each tree using modern technology is a natural development. The newly planted Hungarian thorn tree, for example, is numbered 18773 on an interactive map. You can stand in the Parks and highlight it with your finger on your phone, and then click into “Details”. You then receive an individual photograph of the tree, species detail, site description, size and planting detail (in this case, “Newly Planted, 2025”). The map also shows the ecological benefits of each tree. For example, the Hungarian thorn tree provides total annual ecosystem benefits worth £0.05, mainly through carbon capture. It’s a big contrast if we turn to the towering Caucasian elm on North Walk, Numbered 15621 on the map, this tree is estimated (估计) to have stored 18.2 tonnes of carbon worth £1,178.72. This example highlights the importance of trees in maintaining a healthy environment and the significant contributions they make to society’s well-being. 32.Why is the new Arboretum Explorer Map launched? A.To encourage tree planting in the parks. B.To present a list of trees without pictures. C.To enable visitors to look up trees online. D.To sound a warning of endangered species. 33.What is a problem about the inventory booklets? A.They are limited to college teachers. B.They are hard for visitors to understand. C.They only include British native plants. D.They have outdated and incomplete data. 34.Which is unavailable on the interactive map? A.The species detail. B.The photo of a gardener. C.The site description. D.The picture of an old tree. 35.What can we infer from the last paragraph? A.Trees offer a nature-based solution. B.It is a treat to walk on a leafy street. C.The map is overpriced for students. D.We have to cut down towering trees. 【答案】32.C 33.D 34.B 35.A 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。文章客观介绍牛津大学新推出的数字化树木导览工具。 32.细节理解题。根据第一段的句子“This simple act marked the launch (发起) of a new Arboretum Explorer Map that aims to improve the experience of park visitors by unlocking rich details of individual tree species on a smartphone. The plan aims to reach 4.5 billion tons of bulk solid waste utilization and 510 million tons of renewable resource recycling by 2030. 36 Strengthen Public Participation, raising people’s awareness is the basic step. 37 For example, schools can hold waste-sorting lectures, and communities can organize recycling activities. When everyone realizes the importance, they will take active action to reduce waste in daily life. Optimize Waste Recycling Systems, a sound recycling system is necessary for “zero-waste cities”. 38 It also means building more recycling stations in neighborhoods to make waste recycling convenient. A smooth system helps turn waste into valuable resources efficiently. Promote Green Production and Consumption, this measure focuses on the source of waste reduction. 39 Meanwhile, consumers should choose products with less packaging and reuse recyclable items as much as possible. Green lifestyle can cut down waste from the very beginning. 40 This measure is as important as the three methods mentioned above in building zero-waste cities. With joint efforts from all sides, we will surely build more eco-friendly “zero-waste cities” and achieve the environmental goals set in the plan. A.This includes making strict rules for waste classification and treatment. B.The government should guide factories to produce with fewer raw materials. A little way into it they reached a fork (岔路) in the earth path. Harry and David took the left path. They walked in silence, their eyes on the ground, watching out for the traps like big pits (坑) set by the illegal hunters. Every now and then a ray of moonlight through the branches above lit a spot of bright red blood on the fallen leaves. David saw that Harry looked very worried, asking, “Could Unicorn be hurt that badly?” Harry answered, “If we can’t find it as soon as possible, it doesn’t stand much chance to survive.” Of course, Unicorn was not the animal in fairy tales but the nickname of a 3-year-old elephant, the last wild elephant in this forest. The nickname was given by the biodiversity rescuers who were protecting every member in this forest. They knew Unicorn was obedient (顺从的) and not afraid of human beings. “Without it, the forest was not complete. Those illegal hunters should be thrown into prison. “ Harry thought, carrying his first aid kit (急救箱) on his back and walking forward with his flashlight. It seemed that thick fog would come at any time, which would increase the danger. Harry hurried into the heart of the forest with David. They walked for nearly half an hour, deeper and deeper. There were blood splashes on the roots of a tree, as though the poor creature had been struggling around in pain close by. “We must hurry up”, said Harry. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为150左右; 2. 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 Paragraph 1: However, it was really not easy for them to find it. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paragraph 2: Without delay, Harry knelt down to do first aid on its wound. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】范文 However, it was really not easy for them to find it. 词汇激活 行为类 ①寻找:search for/look for ②叫喊:cry/shout/yell ③实施:conduct/carry out 情绪类 ①痛苦:painful/miserable ②疲惫的:exhausted/tired 【点睛】[高分句型1] Thick fog came, covering almost everything.(运用了现在分词作状语) [高分句型2] They had to bend down to search for clues like blood splashes or footprints, which made them walk more slowly, ears sharper than usual.(运用了which引导非限制性定语从句) 原创精品资源学科网独家享有版权,侵权必究!1 学科网(北京)股份有限公司1 / 23 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2025-2026学年高一必修第三册英语单元自测 Unit1·基础卷(安徽专用) 学校:___________班级:___________姓名:___________分数:___________ (时间:120分钟,满分:150分) 注意事项: 1. 1.What is the woman’s main concern regarding the city’s new policy? B Birds in the city stay up much later than those living in the countryside, according to research that stresses the effect of light pollution on wildlife. C Changing animal poo (粪便) into future babies might sound like magic, but scientists think it could become a new way to help endangered animals. C.Unclear. D.Worried. D A cold, cloudy day in late November saw Martin Maiden, a professor at the University of Oxford, plant a Hungarian thorn tree on Thorn Walk, a path that runs across the University Parks between Linacre College and Lady Margaret Hall. 第二节 (共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 How to Build “Zero-waste Cities” To carry out the 2026 Action Plan for Comprehensive Solid Waste Management, building “zero-waste cities” has become a key task, and cracking down on illegal waste dumping (倾倒) is another important task. C.Illegal waste dumping is a big problem that needs strict punishment worldwide. D.Many cities have already started to get involved in the field of waste management. E.It is important to let people know how to sort waste and why waste reduction matters. F.Taking strict measures to crack down on illegal waste dumping is also a critical method. G.It is a long-term project that needs the support of the public, government and enterprises. 第三部分 语言运用(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 (共15小题;每小题1分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。 Sharks have always attracted me. I am lucky enough to live close to the Great Barrier Reef, where there are beautiful sharks and places for 41 . Over many underwater trips, I got to know the sharks there and could 42 them easily. But one day I went in the water and couldn’t find my sharks anywhere. They had been 43 and killed in a legal shark fishery. I realized then that sharks were 44 and that I’d have to devote my life to 45 them. The first step was to make other people see them as I do. Sharks, 46 as cruel man-eaters, are killed, because of some 47 movies like Jaws and people’s lack of wild sightings. That led to my 48 — I wanted to make my own film that shows the true 49 of sharks: shy, fearful of people, and really they just want to be left alone. I spent a lot of my time collecting 50 of sharks during my many dives with them. I also focused my work on talking governments into 51 allowing legal shark fisheries. 52 by the desire for change, small wins and my 53 for sharks and nature, I try my best to make a 54 . Once 57 great danger because of overfishing and habitat loss, the global population of green sea turtles 58 (rise) by about 28% since the 1970s. The IUCN says this success results from long- term global conservation work. People protected female turtles and their eggs, reduced illegal trade, and limited 59 (accident) catch in fishing equipment through new things like Turtle Excluder Devices. The recovery has been especially good in Ascension Island, Brazil, Mexico, and Hawaii, 60 turtle populations have grown back to nearly the levels before people hunted them for money. Usually 61 (find) in warm waters around the world, green sea turtles play an important part in 62 (keep) healthy ocean ecosystems such as seagrass fields and coral reefs. Besides their 63 (important) to nature, they’ve also been deeply helpful in culture, spirit, and food for communities across the globe for thousands of years. While some groups still face challenges, the species’ new official status (地位) marks a powerful example to show what can 64 (achieve) through countries working together, local people taking part, and long-term care for protection. After many years of hard work, these gentle ocean animals are finally swimming toward 65 brighter future. Boys and girls, _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Students’ Union 第二节 (满分25分) 67.阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 A Midnight Rescue It was not uncommon to carry out tasks at night as rescuers. Harry and David were informed of their task when it was nearly midnight. It was urgent so there was no time to hesitate. They headed into the forest. The forest was black and silent. B Birds in the city stay up much later than those living in the countryside, according to research that stresses the effect of light pollution on wildlife. C Changing animal poo (粪便) into future babies might sound like magic, but scientists think it could become a new way to help endangered animals. C.Unclear. D.Worried. D A cold, cloudy day in late November saw Martin Maiden, a professor at the University of Oxford, plant a Hungarian thorn tree on Thorn Walk, a path that runs across the University Parks between Linacre College and Lady Margaret Hall. I hope my film Shark Girl will inspire viewers to love sharks and help stop their 55 killing. 41.A.sharing B.fishing C.swimming D.walking 42.A.recognize B.weigh C.save D.cover 43.A.attracted B.caught C.delivered D.observed 44.A.in peace B.at hand C.in sight D.at risk 45.A.raising B.studying C.protecting D.checking 46.A.misunderstood B.served C.praised D.recommended 47.A.touching B.funny C.long D.frightening 48.A.experience B.comment C.regret D.decision 49.A.nature B.appearance C.hobby D.value 50.A.sounds B.foods C.videos D.weaknesses 51.A.considering B.advising C.keeping D.stopping 52.A.Tested B.Driven C.Moved D.Confused 53.A.love B.schedule C.requirement D.wish 54.A.choice B.difference C.promise D.request 55.A.informal B.sudden C.unnecessary D.limited 第二节 (共10小题;每小题1.5分,满分15分) 阅读下面短文,在空白处填入1个适当的单词或括号内单词的正确形式。 The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) announced that green sea turtles (海龟) have 56 (official) been removed from the endangered species list. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试题 第3页(共8页) 试题 第4页(共8页) 试题 第1页(共8页) 试题 第2页(共8页) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
