◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class and review the previous lesson.
2.Invite some students to retell the key differences between British and Chinese manners.
Step 2 Work on C
1.Present the conversation between Robert and his mum.Ask students to read the conversation carefully and complete it with the correct forms of the words and phrases in the box.
2.Check the answers together.
3.Ask students to read the completed conversation aloud in pairs.
Step 3 Work on D
1.Ask students to think about the three questions in D.
2.Divide students into groups of four to discuss the questions.
3.Invite some students to share their answers with the class.
Step 4 Consolidation
1.Ask students to imagine they are going to study abroad.Write 3-5 sentences about how they will deal with the differences in manners.
2.Invite some students to share their writing with the class.
