◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Lead in
1.Greet the class.
2.Review what the students learnt in the last class.
3.Share some pictures or videos of paper⁃cutting art.
Step 2 Pre⁃reading
1.Ask students to look at the title and pictures of the article and guess what the text might be about.
2.Let students think about the questions: “What do you know about Chinese paper⁃cutting?” “Would you like to try paper⁃cutting? Why or why not?”
3.Teach the new words and phrases in the box.
Step 3 While⁃reading
1.Ask students to read the article carefully and silently for the first time and underline the words or sentences they don’t understand.
2.Answer the two questions in the pre⁃reading part.Share their answers with their partners.
3.Work on A
(1)Ask students to read the article again and match the paragraphs with the main ideas.
(2)Check the answers together and ask students to read out the relevant paragraphs.
4.Work on B
(1)Ask students to read the article again and choose the correct answer according to the text.
(2)Explain the reasons for the answers.
Step 4 Post⁃reading
1.Divide students into groups of four and ask them to discuss the questions: “What do you think is the most interesting about paper⁃cutting?” “Why is paper⁃cutting an important part of Chinese folk art?”
2.Ask several groups to report their discussion results to the class.
◇教学反思◇
在本次阅读课中,学生对剪纸艺术有了更深入的了解,但在理解长难句和总结归纳方面仍需加强。后续教学可增加长难句分析练习,引导学生分析句子结构。
