◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
Greet the class and review the story of Zhang Shun,and ask students to recall the sentences with indefinite pronouns in the text.
Step 2 Work on Activity 5
1.Read the sentences from the reading passage aloud and ask students to observe the usage of the indefinite pronouns carefully.
2.Guide students to summarise the grammar rules,such as the meaning and function of each pronoun,and the verb forms they agree with.
3.Ask students to find more sentences with indefinite pronouns in the reading passage and analyse their structures.
Step 3 Work on Activity 6
1.Match the pictures with the words “both”“neither”“either”“none”“all” and ask students to make sentences using each word to practise their usage.
2.Walk around the classroom to check students’ sentences and provide immediate feedback and correction.
Step 4 Work on Activity 7
1.Present the passage “Sink or swim” and ask students to read it first to understand the context.
2.Instruct students to complete the passage using the appropriate indefinite pronouns,paying attention to the context and grammar rules.
3.Check the answers and explain the reasons for each choice,emphasising the importance of understanding the context when using indefinite pronouns.
Step 5 Work on Activity 8
1.Pair the students and ask them to tell the story of a sports lover they know,using the words and expressions from the reading passage and the indefinite pronouns they just learnt.
2.Provide some guiding questions like “Who is your sports lover?”“What sport does he/she play?”“What challenge did he/she face?”“How did he/she get through it?”“What can you learn from him/her?”
3.Invite several pairs of students to share their stories with the class and give positive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
◇教学反思◇
学生对不定代词的基本规则有了一定了解,但在实际运用中错误较多,尤其是在复杂语境下容易混淆。在造句和讲故事环节,部分学生的句子结构简单,内容不够丰富。后续需增加针对性的练习,设计多样化的语境让学生巩固语法知识,同时加强写作指导,提升学生语言表达的质量和复杂性。
