◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
Greet the class and project a series of dynamic sports pictures on the screen.Ask students to describe the first impressions and feelings the pictures evoke.
Step 2 Work on Activity 1
1.Display the pictures one by one and ask students to name the sports shown,spelling the words if necessary.Encourage them to use adjectives to describe the sports briefly.
2.Divide students into pairs to discuss their favourite sports in more detail,using the sentence pattern “I like...best because...” and then share their conversations with the class.
Step 3 Work on Activity 2
1.Pose the question about the origin of sports and give a few examples to illustrate,such as the origin of basketball or football.
2.Ask students to think about the origins of the sports they are familiar with and share their knowledge with the group.Each group selects a representative to report back to the class,and the teacher supplements and corrects the information.
Step 4 Share and talk
1.Propose some thought⁃provoking questions like “How have sports changed our lives?” or “What role do sports play in different cultures?” to stimulate in⁃depth discussion.
2.Summarise the students’ ideas and emphasise the significance of sports.
◇教学反思◇
学生在识别运动项目时表现积极,但在描述起源故事时,部分学生词汇量不足,表达不够流畅。小组讨论中,学生参与度较高,但存在个别学生主导讨论的情况。后续应加强词汇拓展和口语表达训练,确保每个学生都有充分的发言机会,同时引导学生更深入地探究体育文化内涵。
