From a young age, I loved being outdoors, surrounded by nature. I often saw wildlife like deer, coyotes, and porcupines, which inspired my passion for the environment. I was happiest when I was outside. After high school, I studied agriculture at Lakeland College and worked on a large farm, but I didn’t feel happy doing that work. I started thinking about my love for nature and decided to pursue a career in environmental conservation. I discovered the Indigenous (土著的) environmental stewardship (管理) program at Yellow head Tribal College(YTC), which combines traditional conservation practices from Indigenous peoples and Métis cultures with modern scientific methods. Although I am not Indigenous, the program is open to students from all backgrounds, which motivated me to apply. Indigenous peoples have always been stewards of the land, and I wanted to work in an industry that supports their efforts to protect the environment. The program, launched in 2016, covered a wide range of subjects, from native studies to soil science. Our small class sizes allowed for a lot of hands-on learning, and we even visited Jasper with our instructor to learn about the area’s history and culture. The program included two placements. In 2017, I worked with the First Nations Technical Services Advisory Group, creating maps for wildlife areas. In 2018, I joined Delta Remediation, a soil remediation company. After graduation, I worked for Delta as a field technician and Indigenous engagement coordinator (协调员), building relationships with Indigenous communities. Attending YTC changed my life. It provided me with a clear career path, meaningful experiences, and an opportunity to make a difference. Through the program, I learned about the complex history of Indigenous peoples in Canada, which deepened my respect for their culture and traditions. 24.What can we learn about the author at a young age? A.He was fond of nature. B.He had a passion for school. C.He loved being indoors. D.He always fed wild animals. 25.What is a characteristic of the program at YTC? A.Inviting the locals to donate money to support it. B.Aiming to build a lasting interpersonal relationship. C.Involving hands-on learning at the end of each term. D.mixing traditional knowledge and modern methods. 26.Why did the author decide to apply to the program at YTC? A.It offers well- paid jobs. B.It is accessible to all students. C.It features small class sizes. D.It has better teaching methods. 27.How did the program at YTC affect the author? A.It helped him run a farm. B.It was a reminder of being polite. C.It was a real eye- opener. D.It enabled him to move to Canada. C Right now, groups of Icelanders are taking to the streets late at night, armed with cardboard boxes and flashlights, in search of the baby Atlantic puffins (海鹦). Once caught, these birds will spend the next few hours with their hunters, before being released from clifftops (悬崖顶) after sunrise. And this annual tradition has become one of the most fascinating wildlife release missions on the planet. Each year from late August to early September, the “Puffling patrol (巡逻队)” takes over Vestmannaeyjabær, a 4,600-inhabitant town on Heimaey Island, southern Iceland. The island is famous for its volcanic landscapes, cliffs, and thousands of Atlantic puffins. However, since the town’s development, human impact has deeply harmed these birds. Over 30 years, Iceland’s puffin population has halved, and the population is now listed as critically endangered by the IUCN. Puffins, which mate for life, lay just one egg yearly, making them highly sensitive to disturbances. Normally, baby puffins — pufflings — emerge from dark caves after six weeks, guided to sea by moonlight. But town lights confuse them; they fly off cliffs in the wrong direction, ending up being trapped on docks, parking lots, and roofs. And because of their short wings adapted for underwater diving, baby puffins have poor take-off ability in flight, leaving them facing danger on the ground from cats and other enemies. Last year alone, the Puffling patrol saved some 3,000 birds: tagged (标记), recorded, and released from western cliffs. Any injured birds are then taken to the Puffin Rescue for treatment. At the release site, some birds need a helping hand to be launched into the air, and then the young birds can avoid crashing back into rocks. In a 2024 study, researchers first demonstrated artificial light’s role in misguiding puffins, which spend most of their lives out at sea. So far, attempts to help the pufflings redirect away from the town haven’t been successful, so the Puffling patrol looks likely to continue each year, as it has done for generations. 28.What is the “Puffling patrol” mainly for? A.Recording data of baby puffins. B.Rescuing trapped baby puffins. C.Relocating baby puffins for treatment. D.Building homes for baby puffins. 29.What can we know about puffins from the text? A.They have small habitats. B.They are afraid of humans. C.Their population is growing. D.Their reproduction rate is low. 30.Why does the author mention the 2024 study in the last paragraph? A.To prove the success of the Puffing patrol. B.To explain why town lights affect pufflings. C.To confirm the necessity of the Puffing patrol. D.To suggest a new way to protect pufflings. 31.What is the best title of the text? A.The Endangered Atlantic Puffins B.Vestmannaeyjabær: A Puffin Town C.Puffing patrol: Guardians of Lost Pufflings D.Iceland’s tradition of Protecting Puffin Habits D A team of Chinese scientists recently invented a micro-motion sensor that allows people to control devices and type text by blinking (眨眼睛). The sensor is fixed to special eyeglasses and applied through two real-time human-machine interfaces — a smart home control system and a wireless hands-free typing system. It makes direct contact with the wearer’s skin around the eyes and responds to changes in pressure when the wearer blinks intentionally to trigger (触发) a computer response. “It is like a third hand,” said Professor Hu, who led the research. She said the sensor can help people control devices when both hands are occupied, or help people with disabilities to communicate and perform daily tasks. In the new study, Hu and her colleagues designed the sensor based on what’s called a triboelectric nanogenerator — or TENG — to detect the motion of the skin around the corners of eyes, which has never been considered as a good trigger signal source. When the TENG sensor is attached to the glasses, the minute muscle movement of a closing eye momentarily pushes the sensor’s layers together, generating an electrical signal that can be reliably measured. It is super-sensitive, stable, easy and cheap. The team is now applying for a patent in China and overseas. In the near future, they expect to see it on the market. The sensor can initiate tasks such as turning a light on or off. When the glasses are connected to a computer screen, the wearer can blink as a cursor (光标) passes over different keys, typing out words. “This TENG-based micro-motion sensor is distinct and unique in its fundamental mechanism, which provides a novel design concept for intelligent sensor techniques and shows great potential for application in human-machine interfaces,” said Hu. “For our next step, we would like to explore the great potential of TENG sensors in intelligent robots.” 32.Which aspect of the sensor is paragraph 2 mainly about? A.Its operation process. B.Its working principles. C.Its practical applications. D.Its theoretical foundation. 33.Who can benefit from the sensor according to Professor Hu? A.A blind teenager desiring to see the light. B.A boy wanting to chat with friends overseas. C.A secretary incapable of typing words rapidly. D.A lady unable to open the door with full hands. 34.What does the author say about the TENG sensor? A.It is responsive and affordable. B.It keeps track of eye movements. C.It is bound to be commercialized. D.It appears to be the best of its kind. 35.What’s the future research direction for Professor Hu’s team? A.Creating novel human machine interfaces. B.Enhancing wireless communication systems. C.Applying their sensors to smart machines. D.Equipping glasses with micro-motion sensors. Conversations with your friends can sometimes get emotional. Even if your intentions are good, you might be in danger of hurting someone’s feelings. But you can learn to be sensitive to other people’s feelings. It’s crucial to focus on the person who is speaking. 36 If you’re looking around the room, or distracted by another activity, you will be unlikely to be tuned in to what the person is feeling. The importance of listening without judgment cannot be overstated. Listen without judgment. Try to take the speaker’s viewpoint as he talks, rather than responding from your own opinion. 37 It just indicates that while the person is talking, keep an open mind. 38 You can do this in many different ways. For example, you can repeat the person’s statement, nod to show you’re listening, or offer encouragement to him by saying, “Yes,” or “I hear you.” All of these show that you’re engaged in the conversation, and that his feelings are important to you. It’s advisable not to respond too quickly. If you’re involved in an emotional conversation, it can be easy to get caught up in your own feelings. This increases the likeliness of saying something that hurts another person’s feelings. 39 You can ask questions. This is a great way to learn more about the viewpoint of the other person. 40 Being open to whatever the person might have to say is a sign of compassionate (有同情心的) communication. A.You should acknowledge what the person has said. B.You can make frequent eye contact in the conversation. C.This doesn’t mean you have to agree with the other person. D.It’s important to show you approve of another person’s words. E.So if you can’t calm down, take a break from the conversation. F.This will make the person know you value his thoughts and feelings. G.Your undivided attention will increase your sensitivity to his feelings. I’ve never met Mrs. Poddar, the owner of the house where I am living in this foreign country. That year, I was a junior at a high school. I was known for my good grades and honesty, but I encountered a situation that would test my integrity in ways I hadn’t imagined. It all started with Mr. Lawson’s history class. We had been assigned a major essay on the impacts of World War II, which would account for a significant part of our final grade. The essay was due in two weeks, and I had been tirelessly working on it, staying up late to ensure my research was thorough and my arguments were well organized. The day before the essay was due, my computer crashed. I panicked as I realized I had lost almost all of my work. I had saved some drafts on a cloud service, but they were outdated and incomplete. It seemed impossible to start over. At that moment, desperation clouded my judgment. As I sat at my desk, trying to figure out what I could do, my friend Daniel knocked on my door. He was also struggling with his essay and knew I had been working hard on mine. Noticing my worry, he asked if I needed help. I hesitated, but ultimately admitted what had happened. Daniel looked thoughtful, “You know, I heard about a website that offers ready-made essays. It could be a good idea to try it if you really need to.” The idea seemed like a lifeline. I knew it was wrong, but the pressure was mounting, and I felt cornered. After a moment’s hesitation, I decided to use the website. I quickly purchased an essay, changed it slightly to make it fit the assignment, and submitted it. I felt a sense of relief, but it was short-lived. The next morning, Mr. Lawson announced that the essays would be graded using plagiarism (剽窃) detection software. My heart sank, and I knew it wouldn’t take long for the software to catch it. By the afternoon, my fears were confirmed. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Seeing my reflection report, Mr. Lawson asked me to rewrite the essay. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试题 第7页(共8页) 试题 第8页(共8页) 试题 第1页(共8页) 试题 第2页(共8页) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2026届高考英语必胜卷01(全国一卷) (考试时间:120分钟 试卷满分:150分) 第一部分 听力(共两节,满分 30 分) 第一节(共5小题;每小题1.5分,满分7.5分) 1.C 2.B 3.B 4.A 5.C 第二节(共15小题;每小题1.5分,满分22.5分) 6.B 7.A 8.A 9.B 10.C 11.A 12.C 13.B 14.B 15.B 16.A 17.C 18.A 19.C 20.B 第二部分 阅读(共两节, 满分50分) 第一节(共15小题;每小题2.5分, 满分37.5分) 21.D 22.B 23.C 24.A 25.D 26.B 27.C 28. What makes it special is that over 80 students from different grades participated actively. They not only developed projects in robotics and AI but also explored sustainable solutions like solar-powered devices. The program has made a big impact. Many participants improved their problem-solving skills, and some projects even won city-level awards. What’s more, the collaborative spirit fostered among students has been invaluable. Would you like me to send some project photos? Hope to hear your perspective too! By the afternoon, my fears were confirmed. Mr. Lawson called me into his office. “Jake,” he began, looking serious, “your essay has been flagged for plagiarism. Can you explain this?” I felt a wave of shame washing over me, “I’m sorry, Mr. Lawson. I used a service to get the essay because my computer crashed, and I couldn’t finish it on time.” Mr. Lawson’s expression softened slightly, “I understand that, but using someone else’s work breaks our academic integrity policy. You have to face the consequence — a zero on the assignment.” Additionally, I was required to write a reflection report on academic integrity. Seeing my reflection report, Mr. Lawson asked me to rewrite the essay. “Jake, I appreciate your honesty,” he said. “It’s clear you’ve learned from this experience. I want to give you a chance to make up for this mistake.” I accepted gratefully and worked tirelessly to complete a new, original essay. By the end of the term, my grade had improved, and I had regained some of the trust I had lost. The incident had been a tough lesson, painful but rewarding. It reminded me of the value of hard work and honesty. I found too much screen time, pulled all the color out of real life. The inventor of the modern car seat belt was a swedish man called mills bowlen. Bowen had trained the mechanical engineering college before gaining his first employment as an aircraft designer. He did well, so was invited to join a car manufacturing company as a safety engineer. Bolin had often worked on improving seats and seat belts for planes since starting his working in life in nineteen forty two. After joining the car manufacturer in nineteen and fifty eight, he spent the following twelve months developing his ideas for cars, and then a car features. Ben's creation on both front seats was introduced, making IT the earliest example of a vehicle with modern seat belts. However, IT took many years for them to become widely accepted. Japan made IT a rule that everyone must wear seatbelts in their cars across the whole country. In nineteen nineteen seventy one, a year earlier, two of the six states in australia had introduced similar rules. France was the first european nation to create seats belt laws several years later. It's incredible to think that some investment in research and development in the manufacturing industry has had such a huge global impact. A.The Endangered Atlantic Puffins B.Vestmannaeyjabær: A Puffin Town C.Puffing patrol: Guardians of Lost Pufflings D.Iceland’s tradition of Protecting Puffin Habits 【答案】28.B 29.D 30.C 31.C 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。 根据第三段中的“But town lights confuse them; they fly off cliffs in the wrong direction, ending up being trapped on docks, parking lots, and roofs. (但城镇的灯光会迷惑它们;它们会从悬崖上朝着错误的方向飞去,最终被困在码头、停车场和屋顶上)”以及第五段中的“Last year alone, the Puffling patrol saved some 3,000 birds: tagged (标记), recorded, and released from western cliffs. (仅去年一年,海鹦巡逻队就拯救了大约3000只海鹦:给它们做标记、记录信息,然后从西部悬崖放归自然)”可知,海鹦巡逻队的主要目的是救助被困的幼海鹦。故选B项。 29.细节理解题。根据第三段中的“Puffins, which mate for life, lay just one egg yearly, making them highly sensitive to disturbances. (海鹦是终身配偶制,每年只产一枚卵,这使得它们对干扰极为敏感)”可知,海鹦的繁殖率很低。故选D项。 30.推理判断题。根据最后一段中的“In a 2024 study, researchers first demonstrated artificial light’s role in misguiding puffins, which spend most of their lives out at sea. So far, attempts to help the pufflings redirect away from the town haven’t been successful, so the Puffling patrol looks likely to continue each year, as it has done for generations. (在2024年的一项研究中,研究人员首次证实了人造光在误导海鹦方面的作用,海鹦的大部分生命都是在海上度过的。到目前为止,帮助幼海鹦改变方向远离城镇的尝试都没有成功,因此海鹦巡逻队似乎可能会像几代人以来那样,每年继续开展这项工作)”可推知,作者提及2024年的研究是为了证实海鹦巡逻队存在的必要性。故选C项。 31.主旨大意题。根据第一段中的“Right now, groups of Icelanders are taking to the streets late at night, armed with cardboard boxes and flashlights, in search of the baby Atlantic puffins (海鹦). (眼下,一群群冰岛人深夜走上街头,手里拿着纸箱和手电筒,去寻找大西洋幼海鹦)”、第五段中 “Last year alone, the Puffling patrol saved some 3,000 birds: tagged (标记), recorded, and released from western cliffs. (仅去年一年,幼海鹦巡逻队就拯救了大约3000只海鹦:给它们做标记、记录信息,然后从西部悬崖放归自然)”以及最后一段中的“So far, attempts to help the pufflings redirect away from the town haven’t been successful, so the Puffling patrol looks likely to continue each year, as it has done for generations. D A team of Chinese scientists recently invented a micro-motion sensor that allows people to control devices and type text by blinking (眨眼睛). 根据第二段“The sensor is fixed to special eyeglasses and applied through two real-time human-machine interfaces — a smart home control system and a wireless hands-free typing system. It makes direct contact with the wearer’s skin around the eyes and responds to changes in pressure when the wearer blinks intentionally to trigger (触发) a computer response.(传感器固定在特殊的眼镜上,并通过两个实时人机交互界面——智能家居控制系统和无线免提打字系统来应用。它与佩戴者眼睛周围的皮肤直接接触,当佩戴者有意眨眼触发计算机响应时,它会对压力变化做出反应)”可知,本段主要介绍了传感器的工作原理,即如何通过眨眼触发计算机响应。故选B项。 33.推理判断题。根据第三段中“She said the sensor can help people control devices when both hands are occupied, or help people with disabilities to communicate and perform daily tasks.(她说,这种传感器可以帮助双手忙碌的人控制设备,或者帮助残疾人交流和完成日常任务)”可知,胡教授认为这种传感器可以帮助双手忙碌的人控制设备。 根据第四段中“It is super-sensitive, stable, easy and cheap.(它超级敏感、稳定、简单且便宜)”可知,作者认为TENG传感器反应灵敏且价格实惠。故选A项。 35. 根据最后一段中“For our next step, we would like to explore the great potential of TENG sensors in intelligent robots.(作为我们的下一步,我们想探索TENG传感器在智能机器人中的巨大潜力)”可知,胡教授团队未来的研究方向是将他们的传感器应用于智能机器。 Conversations with your friends can sometimes get emotional. 36.根据前文“It’s crucial to focus on the person who is speaking.(把注意力集中在说话的人身上是至关重要的)”可知,本段主题是把注意力集中在说话的人身上可以学会对别人的感受敏感,所以G项“Your undivided attention will increase your sensitivity to his feelings.(你一心一意的关注会增加你对他感情的敏感度)”符合本段主题,是对前文的进一步说明。故选G项。 37.根据前文“The importance of listening without judgment cannot be overstated. Listen without judgment. Try to take the speaker’s viewpoint as he talks, rather than responding from your own opinion.(不加判断地倾听的重要性怎么强调都不为过。不带评判地倾听。当说话者说话时,试着接受他的观点,而不是从你自己的观点来回答)”以及后文“It just indicates that while the person is talking, keep an open mind.(它只是表明,当这个人在说话的时候,保持开放的心态)”可知,前文讲述接受对方的观点,后文有转折之意,所以C项“This doesn’t mean you have to agree with the other person.(这并不意味着你必须同意别人的观点)”承接上文,并引出下文,符合文意。故选C项。 38.设空位于段首,为本段中心句,根据后文“You can do this in many different ways. For example, you can repeat the person’s statement, nod to show you’re listening, or offer encouragement to him by saying, “Yes,” or “I hear you.” All of these show that you’re engaged in the conversation, and that his feelings are important to you.(你可以用很多不同的方法来做到这一点。例如,你可以重复对方的话,点头表示你在听,或者通过说“是的”或“我听到了”来鼓励他。所有这些都表明你参与了谈话,他的感受对你来说很重要)”本段主要说的是你要对对方所说的话作出反应,以及这样做的方法,所以A项“You should acknowledge what the person has said.(你应该承认那个人说的话)”符合本段主题。故选A项。 39.设空位于段尾,是对前文的总结,根据前文“It’s advisable not to respond too quickly. If you’re involved in an emotional conversation, it can be easy to get caught up in your own feelings. This increases the likeliness of saying something that hurts another person’s feelings.(最好不要反应太快。如果你参与了一场情绪化的谈话,很容易陷入自己的感觉中。这增加了说一些伤害他人感情的话的可能性)”可知,本段主要讲述不要太匆忙作出回应。之后讲述了在对话中陷入个人情绪时很可能会说出伤害别人感情的话,所以E项“So if you can’t calm down, take a break from the conversation.(所以,如果你无法冷静下来,就暂时停止谈话)”与上文构成因果关系,符合语境。故选E项。 40.根据前文“You can ask questions. This is a great way to learn more about the viewpoint of the other person.(你可以提问。这是了解对方观点的好方法)”可知,空处应是在说问问题的意义何在,F项“This will make the person know you value his thoughts and feelings.(这会让对方知道你重视他的想法和感受)”符合语境。 I’ve never met Mrs. Poddar, the owner of the house where I am living in this foreign country. My name is Jake Reynolds. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】One possible version: By the afternoon, my fears were confirmed. 词汇激活 行为类 ①开始:begin/start ②完成:complete/finish ③席卷:wash over/flood over 情绪类 ①羞愧:shame/abashment ②诚实:honesty/integrity/heartiness 【点睛】[高分句型1] I used a service to get the essay because my computer crashed, and I couldn’t finish it on time.(运用了because引导原因状语从句) [高分句型2] I want to give you a chance to make up for this mistake.(运用了不定式作后置定语) 试卷第1页,共3页 试卷第1页,共3页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 2026届高考英语必胜卷01(全国一卷) (考试时间:120分钟 试卷满分:150分) 注意事项: 1. 1. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试卷第1页,共3页 试卷第1页,共3页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
