中考复习之情态动词
Analysis of the Teaching Material
2012版外研版教材的七年级上册、八年级下册和九年级下册均涉及到情态动词的用法的学习。本节课主要是针对学生以往学习过的情态动词进行归纳总结,唤醒学生对已学知识的记忆,并通过中考常见考法和重点考查内容的训练,提升学生对情态动词的掌握程度。针对班级的学优生,通过拔高类的习题进行训练,为学生后续的学习打下基础。
Analysis of the Target Students
本节课复习初中段学习的情态动词的主要用法,九年级的学生已经在以往的学习过程中对情态动词的基本用法有了一定的掌握。但是,班级学生英语水平参差不齐,优等生主要针对情态动词疑难考点进行巩固和复习,针对中等生和后进生以巩固基础知识和基本考察点为主要任务。通过不同的习题训练,提升班级不同水平学生的英语成绩和综合运用能力。

2.了解情态动词的基本含义和特征
情态动词是一种本身有一定的词义,表示说话人的情绪,态度或语气的动词,但不能单独作谓语,只能和其他动词的原形构成谓语。情态动词数量不多,但用途广泛,主要有下列:can (could), may (might), must, need, shall (should), will (would)。
情态动词的特征
①有一定的词义,但不能单独做谓语,必须和行为动词和系动词连用构成谓语。
②无人称和数的变化(have to例外,如在一般现在时态下用于第三人称单数时用has to)。
③后接动词原形,即不带to的不定式。
④具有助动词的作用,可用来构成否定句、疑问句及用于简单答语。

1.情态动词的定义:情态动词表示说话人对某一动作或状态的态度。
2.情态动词的结构和意义
①情态动词的基本句型肯定句、否定句、疑问句
②情态动词的意义︰must“必须”; can/could“能会”; may/might “可以”; should“应该”; would“愿,要”; have to“不得不”; need"“需要”
need的用法
1.用作实义动词
作为实义动词,need 后面的宾语可以是名词、动名词、动词不定式或代词,这种情况下,need既可用于
肯定句,也可用于否定句和疑问句,构成否定句和疑问句时要借助于助动词do或does.
2.用作情态动词
作为情态动词的need具有情态动词的一般性质,要充分阐释作为情态动词的need的用法,务必首先说明白情态动词的特征。
3.用作名词
need作为名词,含义为“缺乏,需要”;其复数表示“基本需要”。要掌握两个词组: in (great) need of (急需)与meet the needs of(满足......的需要)。
