三、阅读理解。[2025杭州西湖区一模]
This summer,my parents took my brother and me on the coolest vacation ever! We visited three amazing places. Let me tell you all about our trips.
First,we flew to Egypt. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the pyramids. They’re much bigger in real life than in pictures! Our guide Ahmed told us stories about how they were built thousands of years ago. The best part was when we were on a small sailboat at sunset and ate delicious Egyptian food with a local family. They taught us how to make pita bread, which was really fun and tasty!
After Egypt,we went to Norway. This place was like something from a fairy tale! The mountains which the train rode through were so beautiful, with waterfalls everywhere. At the Viking village,we put up dressing-up clothes and tried throwing snowballs, which made us all laugh.
Our last stop was Indonesia, which was my favorite. We stayed on a wooden boat and went swimming every day. The fish were so colorful! One day,we saw a big group of fish swimming right below us. They looked like underwater birds. At night,an artist taught us how to paint the sunset over the ocean.
▲ I learned that history can be exciting when you see it in person. I also learned how important it is to protect nature. But most of all,I learned that trips are the most fun when you’re with people you love.
If I could,I would go back to all these places tomorrow! Maybe next summer we’ll visit Costa Rica to see the rainforest. Would you like to come and join us?

Effective Study Strategies
As students, knowing that you don’t know something before the exam is better than just waiting for the day of the exam. To get well prepared for exams, study strategies are necessary in our study process. 1 Here are some of them.
◇Use different ways to remember.
When you actively recall some information from memory, you can write it down on paper in different forms. 2 You just start with a blank piece of paper and write things down. It’s especially helpful because it shows you what you do (and do not) understand,so you can know what you need to review and practice more.
◇ 3
When you work on several related skills or ideas together, you can practice one skill or idea for a short period of time, then turn to another one,and then back to the first. Or,when you study geography which has something to do with history, you can review history information, and return to geography later. It not only helps you learn better, but also keeps you from falling behind in your other classes!
◇Get enough sleep and eat well.
4 Though it might seem to work fast without taking a break and staying up all night to study,it won’t help you in the long run. Instead, you’d better develop a study plan, eat a good meal, and have a bottle of water when you take your exam. In this way,you will learn and understand the material better.
A.Mix different skills or subjects together.
B.Find pen pals who have the same needs.
C.Your brain works better when you get enough sleep.
D.You can use numbers, patterns, mind maps and so on.
E.So what are effective study ways for long-term learning?
1. E 2. D 3. A 4. C
5.What other study strategies can you use? (Give one example.) (不超过15词)
Take notes while reading.(答案不唯一,合理即可)
