真题陈列：教师PPT展示近三年新高考卷中考查“it”的真题句子（去空），引导学生观察。

考点一：指代用法—— “it” 的本职工作

讲解：这是it最基本的功能，指代上文已提过的单数事物、动物、婴儿或身份不明的人，也用于指代时间、天气、距离、环境等抽象概念。

高考真题/模拟例句：

—Look, someone is waiting at the gate. Who might it be? —Perhaps it is our new English teacher. （指代身份不明的人）

(2022年浙江卷模拟) It is about 500 meters from my home to school, so it only takes me 10 minutes to walk. （第一个it指距离，第二个it是形式主语）

The baby smiled when it saw its mother. （指代婴儿）

易错辨析：与指示代词this/that的区别。It用于指代“同一个”，this/that用于指代“这一个/那一个”。

I bought a book. It is very interesting. （指我买的那本书本身）

I bought a book. This is the book I mentioned yesterday. （特指“这本书”）

考点二：形式主语/宾语—— “it” 的调和艺术

核心规则：当句子的主语或宾语是过长的不定式、动名词或从句时，为保持句子平衡，常用“it”作形式主语或宾语，将真正的主语/宾语后置。
