根据Rules and Regulations部分第三点中的“Neither the contestant’s personal information nor any marks unrelated to the music should be shown in the score except the name of the work in both the original language and English.(除作品名称需同时标注原文和英文外,乐谱中不得出现参赛者个人信息及任何与音乐无关的标记)”可知,若将PDF乐谱以作曲家名字命名,即泄露了个人信息,会导致取消资格。 根据Selection Process部分中的“The Judge Committee will select 6 works for the final round, which will be held in the form of a concert in Vienna.(评审委员会将选出6部作品进入决赛,决赛将以音乐会形式在维也纳举行)”可知,决赛选手将参与音乐会演出。 根据Application部分中的“Please download the application form and send it along with the score of the composition work to ifjyc@ccom.edu.cn.(请下载申请表,并将其与作品乐谱一同发送至邮箱ifjyc@ccom.edu.cn)”可知,申请者需通过邮件提交乐谱。故选A项。 B Most of us have clothes in our wardrobe (衣橱) that we never wear but can’t quite let go of. I have a yellow dress that I bought five years ago and have worn only three times. Every time I open my wardrobe, it catches my eye. I feel guilty that I bought a dress I didn’t need. I’m also sorry about the pretty dress: what has it done to deserve being hidden by me? I hate seeing stuff go to waste. I go to great lengths to make dinner using up whatever is in the fridge. I tell myself this is because it is healthier and greener than takeout. I don’t want to give up on the yellow dress; I want to make it work. So I set myself a project, of wearing the clothes that I bought but never actually wear. Having continued for months, I’ve found the key to finding your way back to clothes you feel disconnected from is trying to rediscover the spark that drew you to them originally. As for the yellow dress, I bought it for weekend outings that could be suitable in jeans but would feel more of an occasion if I dressed up for. Sometimes, what you figure out is simply that you made a mistake. Over time your taste might have changed, but your shopping instincts (直觉) haven’t caught up. You still automatically reach for pieces belonging to someone familiar, but that person isn’t the current version of you. If this is happening, you need to change. As I get older, I wear color a lot less, and I’m going to be mindful of not shopping for the person I was 15 years ago. There is wisdom to be obtained from clothes that feel like mistakes:sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn. 4. Why does the author feel bad about her yellow dress? A. It is worn out. B. It is underused. C. It is out of date. D. It is overlooked. 5. What does the author want to show by mentioning her dinner cooking practice? A. Her determination to change. B. Her habit of saving money. C. Her refusal of unhealthy eating. D. Her pursuit of a sustainable lifestyle. 6. Which is closest in meaning to the underlined word“spark”in paragraph 3? A. Motivation. B. Moment C. Bond. D. Cost. 7. What are people advised to do in the end? A. Pick through familiar pieces. B. Remain true to themselves. C. Upgrade their shopping habits. D. Improve their taste in clothes. B 5. D 6. A 7. 根据第一段中“I have a yellow dress that I bought five years ago and have worn only three times. Every time I open my wardrobe, it catches my eye. I feel guilty that I bought a dress I didn’t need. I’m also sorry about the pretty dress: what has it done to deserve being hidden by me? (我有一条黄色的裙子,是五年前买的,只穿了三次。每次打开衣柜,它都会吸引我的目光。我为自己买了一件不需要的裙子而感到内疚。我也为这件漂亮的裙子感到遗憾:它做了什么值得被我藏起来呢?)”可知,作者对她的黄色裙子感到内疚是因为这条裙子她很少穿,即利用不足。故选B项。 【5题详解】 推理判断题。根据第二段中“I hate seeing stuff go to waste. I go to great lengths to make dinner using up whatever is in the fridge. I tell myself this is because it is healthier and greener than takeout. (我讨厌看到东西被浪费。我竭尽全力用冰箱里的东西做晚餐。我告诉自己,这是因为这比外卖更健康、更环保。)”可知,作者讨厌浪费,所以提到自己用冰箱里的东西做晚餐,是为了表明自己追求可持续的生活方式。故选D项。 【6题详解】 词句猜测题。根据划线词所在句“Having continued for months, I’ve found the key to finding your way back to clothes you feel disconnected from is trying to rediscover the spark that drew you to them originally. (持续了几个月后,我发现,重新找回那些让你感觉疏远的衣服的关键,是试图重新发现最初吸引你的_____。)”以及后文“As for the yellow dress, I bought it for weekend outings that could be suitable in jeans but would feel more of an occasion if I dressed up for. (至于那条黄色的裙子,我买它是为了周末外出,穿牛仔裤可能很合适,但如果我精心打扮一下,会更有仪式感。)”可知,作者重新发现最初吸引自己买下这些衣服的原因,即最初购买这些衣服的动机。由此推知,划线词spark与Motivation“动机”意思接近。故选A项。 根据最后一段中“Over time your taste might have changed, but your shopping instincts (直觉) haven’t caught up. You still automatically reach for pieces belonging to someone familiar, but that person isn’t the current version of you. If this is happening, you need to change. As I get older, I wear color a lot less, and I’m going to be mindful of not shopping for the person I was 15 years ago. (随着时间的推移,你的品味可能已经改变了,但你的购物本能还没有跟上。你仍然会自动地去拿那些属于熟悉的人的衣服,但那个人已经不是现在的你了。如果这种情况正在发生,你需要改变。随着年龄的增长,我现在很少再穿颜色鲜艳的衣服,我会注意不要为15年前的自己购物。)”可知,作者建议人们随着年龄和品味的变化,要改变购物习惯,不要为过去的自己购物,要为现在的自己购物。故选C项。 C Heads of governments, senior policymakers and CEOs of tech companies have always gathered to discuss how to tackle the risks of advanced AI technologies. However, there is one group that has been entirely missing from these decision-making processes relating to AI’s design, development and application, and it is the one most affected by advances in AI: children. When the importance of bringing children into these conversations is raised, it is often with reference to the familiar idea that “children are the future”. That’s something I fundamentally disagree with. If we value children because we view them as the future, we are seeing their worth only in terms of their potential, or what they might contribute in years to come. We focus on educating them so they’re equipped to work with AI in the future or solve the problems previous generations hand down, rather than facilitating their involvement in processes to address those problems today. Children aren’t the future. Children are the here and now. In relation to AI, children of all ages already experience it on a daily basis. Babies play with smart toys, young children with smart devices, and AI on social media filters (过滤) the information that teenagers access. In primary and middle schools, AI is used to personalize materials or tailor learning pathways. There are huge opportunities to use AI in positive ways, creating new, playful, fun experiences for children, and supporting them in education through assistive technologies, for example. But there are also significant risks and as yet unknown impacts. Want to get this right? Put children at the heart of decision-making. Usually, problems occur because systems haven’t been designed with children’s needs and interests kept in mind, or assumptions are made based on adults’ experiences and perceptions — no adult today has first-hand experience of being a child in a world with AI. To fully understand children’s experiences with these technologies, or what impacts they might be having, we must involve children themselves and listen to their voice. 8. What problem is stated in paragraph 1? A. The urgency of addressing AI risks. B. The imbalance in AI decision- making. C. Children’s absence from talks about AI. D. AI technologies’ ill effects on children. 9. Why does the author disapprove of the popular idea about children? A. It overstates their potential. B. It ignores their present value. C. It centers too much on them. D. It fails to match educational goals. 10. What is paragraph 3 mainly about? A. The general application of AI. B. The availability of AI to all the children. C. The frequency of daily AI use. D. The interaction between children and AI. 11. What is the purpose of the last paragraph? A. To call for action. B. To explain a problem. C. To generate discussion. D. To give a warning. C 9. B 10. D 11. 根据第一段“Heads of governments, senior policymakers and CEOs of tech companies have always gathered to discuss how to tackle the risks of advanced AI technologies. However, there is one group that has been entirely missing from these decision-making processes relating to AI’s design, development and application, and it is the one most affected by advances in AI: children.(各国政府首脑、高级政策制定者以及科技公司的首席执行官们一直会聚在一起,共同探讨如何应对先进人工智能技术所带来的风险。然而,在与人工智能的设计、开发及应用相关的决策过程中,有一个群体却完全缺席了,那就是受到人工智能进步影响最大的群体——儿童)”可知,第一段中所提到的问题是孩子们在关于人工智能的讨论中缺席。故选C。 【9题详解】 细节理解题。根据第二段“That’s something I fundamentally disagree with. Children are the here and now.(这一点我从根本上无法认同。如果我们因为将儿童视作未来而重视他们,那我们看到的就只是他们的潜力,或是他们在未来可能做出的贡献。我们注重教育儿童,是为了让他们能在未来驾驭人工智能、解决上一代人遗留的问题,而非推动他们参与到当下解决这些问题的进程中。儿童不是未来,儿童就在此时此刻)”可知,作者不赞同关于儿童的这种普遍观点是因为它忽视了儿童的当下价值。故选B。 【10题详解】 主旨大意题。根据第三段“In relation to AI, children of all ages already experience it on a daily basis. Babies play with smart toys, young children with smart devices, and AI on social media filters (过滤) the information that teenagers access. In primary and middle schools, AI is used to personalize materials or tailor learning pathways.(就人工智能而言,各个年龄段的孩子每天都在接触它。婴儿会玩智能玩具,幼儿会使用智能设备,而社交媒体上的人工智能则会筛选青少年获取的信息。在小学和中学,人工智能被用于个性化教学材料或定制学习路径)”可知,第三段主要讲的是儿童与人工智能之间的互动。故选D。 【11题详解】 推理判断题。根据最后一段“Want to get this right? Put children at the heart of decision-making. Usually, problems occur because systems haven’t been designed with children’s needs and interests kept in mind, or assumptions are made based on adults’ experiences and perceptions — no adult today has first-hand experience of being a child in a world with AI. To fully understand children’s experiences with these technologies, or what impacts they might be having, we must involve children themselves and listen to their voice.(想要做到这一点吗?要把孩子放在决策的核心位置。通常,问题之所以会出现,是因为系统的设计没有考虑到孩子的需求和兴趣,或者我们的假设是基于成年人的经验和看法做出的——如今没有哪位成年人有过作为孩子在拥有人工智能的世界中的亲身经历。要全面了解孩子们对这些技术的体验,或者它们可能产生的影响,我们必须让孩子们自己参与进来,并倾听他们的声音)”可推知,最后一段的目的是呼吁采取行动。故选A。 D The city of Lausanne in Switzerland experienced an extreme and short-lived rainstorm in June 2018, with a rainfall of 41 millimeters in just 10 minutes. Large parts of the city were flooded, resulting in estimated damage of 32 million Swiss francs. Though still very rare in Switzerland, these short, extreme events, often causing severe damage to property and posing risks to lives, are likely to become more frequent in the future. Warm air holds more water and intensifies thunderstorm activity. As the rate of the temperature rise in the Alps goes beyond the global average, the region is particularly hard hit. It is therefore urgent to assess the impact of global warming there. In a new study, researchers have demonstrated that an average temperature rise of 2℃ could double the frequency of short-lived summer rainstorms in this region. With such warming, an intense storm currently expected every 50 years could occur every 25 years in the future. To obtain these results, the researchers examined records from almost 300 weather stations in the European Alps. They focused on record-breaking rainfall events between 1991 and 2020, as well as temperatures associated with these storms. According to these observations, a statistical model has been developed to establish a link between temperature and rainfall frequency, and then the researchers use computers to display the future frequency of extreme rainfall. Their results show that an average temperature rise of 1℃ would already be highly problematic, causing flash floods. “It is therefore crucial to understand how these events may develop with climate change and work out appropriate strategies to respond to new changes, such as improving urban drainage (排水) systems where necessary,” researcher Francesco Marra says. “An increase of 1℃ is not imaginary; it is likely to occur in the coming decades. We are already witnessing a tendency for summer storms to intensify, and this trend is only expected to worsen in the years ahead.” 12. How does the author introduce the topic? A. By listing some disasters. B. By showing detailed losses. C. By exploring a possibility. D. By giving a vivid example. 13. Why is it critical to study the Alpine region? A. It provides the best data for research. B. It contains more water than other areas. C. It warms faster and faces bigger threats. D. It experiences the most extreme flood. 14. What is the statistical model based on? A. Analyzed data from weather stations. B. Computer predictions for rainstorms. C. Links between rainfall and temperature. D. Thirty-year global temperature records. 15. What does Francesco Marra emphasize? A. The weakness of urban systems. B. The need for adaptive planning. C. The likelihood of a 1℃ increase. D. The intensity of summer storms. D 13. C 14. A 15. 根据第一段“The city of Lausanne in Switzerland experienced an extreme and short-lived rainstorm in June 2018, with a rainfall of 41 millimeters in just 10 minutes. (瑞士洛桑市在2018年6月遭遇了一场短时强降雨,短短10分钟内降雨量就达到了41毫米)”可推知,作者通过举生动的例子引出主题。故选D项。 【13题详解】 细节理解题。根据第二段“As the rate of the temperature rise in the Alps goes beyond the global average, the region is particularly hard hit. (阿尔卑斯地区的升温速度超过全球平均水平,因此受到的冲击尤其严重)”可知,研究该地区的关键原因是它升温更快、面临的威胁更大。故选C项。 【14题详解】 细节理解题。根据第三段“To obtain these results, the researchers examined records from almost 300 weather stations in the European Alps. They focused on record-breaking rainfall events between 1991 and 2020, as well as temperatures associated with these storms. According to these observations, a statistical model has been developed to establish a link between temperature and rainfall frequency, and then the researchers use computers to display the future frequency of extreme rainfall. (为了获得这些结果,研究人员查看了欧洲阿尔卑斯山近300个气象站的记录。他们专注于1991年至2020年间破纪录的降雨事件,以及与这些风暴相关的温度。根据这些观测数据,研究人员开发了一个统计模型,用于确定气温和降雨频率之间的关联,然后研究人员使用计算机显示未来极端降雨的频率)”可知,统计模型是基于气象站的分析数据。故选A项。 根据最后一段““It is therefore crucial to understand how these events may develop with climate change and work out appropriate strategies to respond to new changes, such as improving urban drainage (排水) systems where necessary,” researcher Francesco Marra says. (研究人员Francesco Marra说:“因此,了解这些事件如何随着气候变化而发展,并制定适当的战略来应对新的变化,例如在必要时改善城市排水系统,这是至关重要的。”)”可知,Francesco Marra强调了适应性规划的必要性。故选B项。 第二节(共5小题;每小题2.5分,满分12.5分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出可以填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Mindfulness in exercise is about developing an awareness of the present moment. It helps us not only improve our workout results but also boost our enjoyment of the experience. ____16____ Luckily, wellness coaches provide tips and tricks to make it a little easier. Taking a few deep breaths is a good choice to get started. As you breathe in, imagine that your breath is carrying concentration into your body. As you breathe out, notice that all the distractions and stress are moving away. This process can help you be completely absorbed in the workout. ____17____ And you will perform better. Whatever your brain is saying, your body believes. As a result, self- talk is a key factor in success or failure. Instead of thinking about how unpleasant your workout is going to be and how you won’t finish it, replace those negative thoughts with positive ones. Tell yourself repeatedly, “I’m going to finish this workout” ____18____ Visualization is another powerful tool. Before your next workout, you can imagine yourself running up that big hill on your route without stopping, or pushing a heavier weight. Athletes use this mind trick to build the brain-body connection. ____19____ Then, in actual exercise, less thought will be required. ____20____ When you truly engage with your workout, you can do better; when your mind is wandering, your performance can suffer, and you may get hurt. Therefore, if you catch yourself spacing out, bring your attention back to what you’re doing. A. And chances are you will. B. Try not to put your mind elsewhere. C. Positive self-talk kicks in when you notice negativity. D. That said, focusing on the here and now is challenging. E. Improved efficiency often translates into better workout outcomes. F. Once that happens, the workout’s perceived level of difficulty decreases. G. The more you mentally practice your plan, the more automatic it will become. D 17. F 18. A 19. G 20. 【16题详解】 根据上文“Mindfulness in exercise is about developing an awareness of the present moment. It helps us not only improve our workout results but also boost our enjoyment of the experience. (运动中的正念是指培养对当下时刻的觉察。它不仅有助于我们提高锻炼效果,还能增强我们在锻炼过程中的愉悦感)”以及下文“Luckily, wellness coaches provide tips and tricks to make it a little easier. (幸运的是,健康教练提供了一些技巧,让这件事变得简单一些)”可知,上文介绍了正念在锻炼中的益处,而下文则提到健康教练提供了一些方法,D选项“That said, focusing on the here and now is challenging. (话虽如此,专注于当下并非易事)”承上启下,“That said”承接上文对正念益处的介绍,“challenging”点明践行正念的难点,自然引出下文“教练提供技巧”的内容,逻辑连贯。故选D项。 【17题详解】 根据上文“Taking a few deep breaths is a good choice to get started. As you breathe in, imagine that your breath is carrying concentration into your body. As you breathe out, notice that all the distractions and stress are moving away. This process can help you be completely absorbed in the workout. (先做几次深呼吸是个不错的开始选择。吸气时,想象你的气息正将专注力带入体内。呼气时,留意所有的分心之事和压力都在渐渐散去。这个过程能帮助你全身心投入到锻炼中)”以及下文“And you will perform better. (而且你会表现得更好)”可知,上文提到深呼吸能帮人专注于锻炼,下文说这会让你的表现更好,F选项“Once that happens, the workout’s perceived level of difficulty decreases. (一旦做到这一点,运动在你感知中的难度就会降低)”承接上文“沉浸运动”的状态,说明该状态带来的直接效果,即降低运动难度感知,同时为下文“表现更好”做铺垫。故选F项。 【18题详解】 根据上文“Instead of thinking about how unpleasant your workout is going to be and how you won’t finish it, replace those negative thoughts with positive ones. Tell yourself repeatedly, “I’m going to finish this workout” (不要去想运动有多难熬、自己肯定完不成,而是用积极的想法取代这些消极念头。反复告诉自己:“我一定能完成这次运动”)”可知,上文建议用积极自我暗示替代消极想法,A选项“And chances are you will. (而且你很有可能真的能做到)”承接上文的积极自我暗示,“chances are you will”对应“我一定能完成”的心理暗示,强化积极自我对话的作用,符合段落核心主旨。故选A项。 【19题详解】 根据上文“Before your next workout, you can imagine yourself running up that big hill on your route without stopping, or pushing a heavier weight. Athletes use this mind trick to build the brain-body connection. (下次运动前,你可以想象自己一路不停地跑过路线上的陡坡,或是举起更重的重量。运动员们会用这种心理技巧来建立大脑与身体的联结)”以及下文“Then, in actual exercise, less thought will be required. (这样一来,在实际运动时就无需过多思考)”可知,此处是在描述想象的作用,G选项“The more you mentally practice your plan, the more automatic it will become. (你在脑海中演练计划的次数越多,实际执行时就会越自然)”解释了可视化想象的作用原理。“mentally practice”对应上文“imagine yourself”的行为,“more automatic”呼应下文“less thought will be required”,逻辑通顺。故选G项。 【20题详解】 根据下文“When you truly engage with your workout, you can do better; when your mind is wandering, your performance can suffer, and you may get hurt. Therefore, if you catch yourself spacing out, bring your attention back to what you’re doing. (当你全身心投入运动时,你会表现得更好;当你走神时,运动表现会受影响,甚至可能受伤。因此,如果你发现自己走神了,要把注意力拉回到正在做的事情上)”可知,此处是在建议不要分心,要专注于锻炼,B选项“Try not to put your mind elsewhere. (尽量不要分心)”概括了本段核心内容。“not to put your mind elsewhere”对应下文“mind is wandering”“spacing out”的问题,明确提出“保持注意力集中”的建议,可作为段落主旨句。 Since a young age, I’ve always struggled with claustrophobia It has ____21____ my life on so many levels and I always tend to take the easy way out. For example, I ____22____ the lift if I can take the stairs. Not wanting to continue this path, I ____23____ to do an activity that would challenge my claustrophobia in every possible way. I started on that ____24____ with scuba diving (水肺潜水), volunteering in an ocean conservation program in Belize. The staff were always ____25____, willing to teach us everything we needed to know. My ____26____ Luis told me that going into ____27____ water was the biggest invitation to my claustrophobia. I couldn’t behave and think ____28____ there; it made me stuck and uncomfortable. The village was known for its close-knit (关系密切的) community, where everyone knew each other’s names and stories. Among them was the Bennett family, and the bond between the family members was as strong as the ancient oak tree (橡树) that stood in their backyard. Mr. Bennett, a retired history teacher, spent his days tending to his garden and reading tales of British traditions. His wife, Mrs. Bennett, was the heart of the home, always baking small round cakes and making tea for family gatherings. Their son, James, had moved to London years ago to pursue a career in finance, leaving behind his parents and younger sister, Emily. Emily, a spirited 16-year-old, often felt the absence of her brother. James rarely returned to visit, always citing work commitments. One day, while helping her father in the garden, Emily found an old photo album (相册) on a dusty shelf. It was filled with pictures of James as a child — joyfully building sandcastles on Brighton Beach, enthusiastically celebrating holidays by the fireplace, and energetically playing ball games on the village green. “Dad, why doesn’t James come home anymore?” Emily asked, her voice full of sadness and confusion, as she looked up with eyes that searched for comfort and answers. Mr. Bennett said softly, “Life takes people in different directions, honey. But family is always here, waiting.” That evening, inspired by the memories described in the photographs, Emily resolved to write a heartfelt letter to James. She poured her emotions onto the page, expressing how deeply they missed him and painting a vivid picture of how the village had transformed over the years. She enclosed a photo of the oak tree, now taller and stronger, alongside the words, “This tree has grown, just like our love for you.” Several days later, James received the letter. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ When James arrived home, the family was overjoyed. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】 Several days later, James received the letter. Emily's heartfelt words and the photo of the backyard oak tree struck a deep chord. As he read, the endless buzz of London life — the meetings, the screens — fell silent. A profound loneliness he'd long ignored surfaced, followed by a sudden, clear certainty. Work could wait. Home could not. He canceled his weekend plans and booked a train ticket, feeling a weight lift as the cityscape gave way to green fields. When James arrived home, the family was overjoyed. Emily spotted him first, rushing out with a joyful shout. Mrs. Bennett appeared at the door, her hands pausing in mid-air before she wiped a tear away. Mr. Bennett straightened up from his garden, his eyes crinkling into a familiar, warm smile. That evening, surrounded by the smell of fresh baking and the crackle of the fireplace, stories and laughter flowed easily. As James looked at his family's happy faces in the firelight, he realized his father was right: some roots grow deeper the farther you wander, and home is the ground that always holds you. 词汇激活 行为类 ①触动:strike a deep chord/ touch one's heart ②推掉计划安排:canceled one's plans/put off one's arrangements ③围坐:surrounded by/gathered around 情绪类 ①深深的孤独:profound loneliness/ deep isolation ②欣喜的:overjoyed/ filled with delight 【点睛】【高分句型1】As he read, the endless buzz of London life — the meetings, the screens — fell silent. C Heads of governments, senior policymakers and CEOs of tech companies have always gathered to discuss how to tackle the risks of advanced AI technologies. D The city of Lausanne in Switzerland experienced an extreme and short-lived rainstorm in June 2018, with a rainfall of 41 millimeters in just 10 minutes. Mindfulness in exercise is about developing an awareness of the present moment. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
