o 是英语中常见的元音字母,在闭音节中的发音为 /ɒ/(也可以写作/ɔ/)

闭音节定义:单词以 “o + 辅音” 结尾(无后接的不发音 e),音节被辅音 “关闭”。发音特点:口型张大,舌位靠后,类似中文 “奥” 的短音(英式)或 “啊” 的短音(美式)。例词:
英式:hot /hɒt/、dog /dɒɡ/、not /nɒt/、box /bɒks/、clock /klɒk/;
美式:hot /hɑːt/、dog /dɑːɡ/、not /nɑːt/、box /bɑːks/。
1. 开音节中:发 /əʊ/(英式)
开音节定义:
绝对开音节:单词以 “o” 结尾(无辅音遮挡);
相对开音节:单词以 “o + 辅音 + 不发音的 e” 结尾。
发音特点:口型从半开逐渐收圆,类似中文 “欧” 的长音。例词:
绝对开音节:go /ɡəʊ/(英)、no /nəʊ/、so /səʊ/;
相对开音节:home /həʊm/、note /nəʊt/、Coke /kəʊk/、nose /nəʊz/。
