One day, we were walking in our hometown and saw hundreds of cigarette butts on the ground. They made the town look so ugly that we decided to start a group to make people stop dropping butts. We called it “No Butts About It”. At first, we drew pictures with “The Earth is not your ashtray(烟灰缸)” written on them. We put the pictures around our hometown—in parks, on beaches, and along roads. We wanted to make people understand that dropping butts hurts the environment. Most smokers don’t think that dropping butts hurts the Earth. But it does, and all rubbish does! Later, we wrote to companies and asked them for money to help us. We used the money to buy ashtrays and gave them to smokers. We wanted smokers to carry the ashtrays with them so they didn’t have to drop butts. At the moment, we are trying to get cigarette companies to put an ashtray in each pack of cigarettes. Some companies want to do it. Many people have started to join our group since it began. Today there are 45 other “No Butts About It” groups in America. Now there are even groups in England, Australia, and India! Many newspapers have written about my sister and me over the last seven years. And we have won many prizes for what we do. But we are not interested in prizes. We just want to make the Earth a better and cleaner place for animals, plants and people. One day, it will be. 1. They made the town look so ugly that we decided to start a group to make people stop dropping butts. · 结构:包含 “so...that...”(如此…… 结果状语从句;“to start a group” 和 “to make people stop dropping butts” 均为不定式作目的状语。 · 拆解:“They made the town look ugly”(主句)→ “so...that we decided to start a group”(结果)→ “to make people stop dropping butts”(成立组织的目的)。 2. We wanted smokers to carry the ashtrays with them so they didn’t have to drop butts. · 结构:主句为 “We wanted smokers to carry...”(“want sb. to do sth.” 3. We just want to make the Earth a better and cleaner place for animals, plants and people. · 结构:“make + 宾语(the Earth)+ 宾语补足语(a better and cleaner place)” 为核心句式;“for animals...people” 为介词短语作目的状语。 高考真题链接 (2022·全国甲卷·高考真题)As Ginni Bazlinton reached Antarctica, she found herself greeted by a group of little Gentoo penguins(企鹅)longing to say hello. These gentle, lovely gatekeepers welcomed her and kick⁃started what was to be a trip Ginni would never forget. Ever since her childhood, Ginni, now 71, has had a deep love for travel. Throughout her career(职业)as a professional dancer, she toured in the UK, but always longed to explore further. When she retired from dancing and her sons eventually flew the nest, she decided it was time to take the plunge.  After taking a degree at Chichester University in Related Arts, Ginni began to travel the world, eventually getting work teaching English in Japan and Chile. And it was in Chile she discovered she could get last⁃minute cheap deals on ships going to Antarctica from the islands off Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost tip of the South American mainland. “I just decided I wanted to go,”she says. “I had no idea about what I’d find there and I wasn’t nervous, I just wanted to do it. And I wanted to do it alone as I always prefer it that way.” In March 2008, Ginni boarded a ship with 48 passengers she’d never met before, to begin the journey towards Antarctica. “From seeing the wildlife to witnessing sunrises, the whole experience was amazing. Antarctica left an impression on me that no other place has,”Ginni says.“I remember the first time I saw a humpback whale; it just rose out of the water like some prehistoric creature and I thought it was smiling at us. You could still hear the operatic sounds it was making underwater.” The realization that this is a precious land, to be respected by humans, was one of the biggest things that hit home to Ginni. 28.Which of the following best explains “take the plunge” underlined in paragraph 2? A.Try challenging things. B.Take a degree. C.Bring back lost memories. D.Stick to a promise. 29.What made Ginni decide on the trip to Antarctica? A.Lovely penguins. B.Beautiful scenery. C.A discount fare. D.A friend’s invitation. 30.What does Ginni think about Antarctica after the journey? A.It could be a home for her. B.It should be easily accessible. C.It should be well preserved. D.It needs to be fully introduced. 31.What is the text mainly about? A.A childhood dream. B.An unforgettable experience. C.Sailing around the world. D.Meeting animals in Antarctica. 1. These gentle, lovely gatekeepers welcomed her and kick-started what was to be a trip Ginni would never forget. · 结构拆解:主句为 “These...gatekeepers welcomed her and kick-started...”(并列谓语);“what was to be a trip” 是宾语从句,作 “kick-started” 的宾语;“Ginni would never forget” 是定语从句,修饰 “trip”(省略关系代词 that)。 2. And it was in Chile she discovered she could get last-minute cheap deals on ships going to Antarctica from the islands off Tierra del Fuego, the southernmost tip of the South American mainland. · 结构拆解:“it was in Chile (that)...” 是强调句(强调地点状语);“she discovered” 后接宾语从句 “she could get...deals”;“going to Antarctica” 是现在分词短语作定语,修饰 “ships”;“the southernmost tip...” 3. The realization that this is a precious land, to be respected by humans, was one of the biggest things that hit home to Ginni. · 结构拆解:主句主语是 “The realization”,后接同位语从句 “that this is a precious land”(解释 realization 的内容);“to be respected by humans” 是不定式作后置定语,修饰 “land”;“that hit home to Ginni” 是定语从句,修饰 “things”。 professional adj. 最终;终于(文中 “her sons eventually flew the nest 儿子们最终独立成家”) board vt. 珍贵的;宝贵的(对应文中 “precious land 珍贵的土地”) hit home (话语、事实)深深打动;使人领悟(文中 “one of the biggest things that hit home 最让她领悟的事之一”) last-minute adj. 排除与上下文无关的 B(拿学位,属于后续行动)、C(找回记忆,无依据)、D(遵守承诺,未提及),选 A。 2. 细节理解题(如第 29 题、30 题) 技巧:精准定位原文关键词 第 29 题:题干问 “决定去南极的原因”,定位第三段 “And it was in Chile she discovered she could get last-minute cheap deals”,“cheap deals” 对应选项 C“A discount fare(折扣票价)”。 第 30 题:题干问 “旅行后对南极的看法”,定位最后一段 “this is a precious land, to be respected by humans”,对应选项 C“should be well preserved(应被好好保护)”。 3. 排除 A(童年梦想,仅开头提及)、C(环球航行,文中仅南极之旅是重点)、D(遇见动物,属于旅行中的部分体验),选 B。 4. Passage 1 (24-25高二下·山东临沂·期末)Learning how to regulate negative emotions like anxiety could ease chronic (慢性的) pain. Scientists have found that a form of therapy (疗法) that partly focuses on tolerating pain relieved ongoing discomfort more effectively than existing treatments. “Chronic pain is more than a sensory experience; it’s incredibly emotional,” says Nell Norman-Nott at the University of New South Wales, Australia. “We see increased levels of anxiety and depression in up to about 80 percent of people with chronic pain.” This leads to a “vicious cycle”, where pre-pain increases negative emotions, which then worsen pain, she says. To see if they could break the cycle, Norman-Nott and her team used a programme that focused on mindfulness, emotion regulation and pain tolerance. Eighty-nine people with chronic pain, lasting 16 years on average, were randomised to receive either the programme, delivered by a therapist through an eight-week online course, while continuing with any treatments they were already receiving, such as medication or physical therapy, or to just continue with their usual treatment. Nine weeks later, those in the therapy group experienced an improvement in emotional regulation of about 5 points more than those in the control group. The intensity of their pain also started to lessen at week 9, and by 21 weeks they experienced significantly less pain than those in the control group. “I think that’s interesting and promising,” says Benedict Alter at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It could also help people with limited access to inperson care, he says. “It’s great that they did this as internet-based. It’s a huge problem that there are small numbers of providers who do therapy, and they tend to be in urban areas.” Exactly how the therapy reduces pain is unclear, says Alter, but “at any given pain intensity, if you had better emotional regulation, people’s overall lives would be better: less suffering, less functional limitation. I think pain intensity decreases as everything gets better.” The mechanism could be uncovered in larger studies, he says. 1.What does “vicious cycle” refer to? A.People with chronic pain are increasing. B.Regulating negative emotions eases chronic pain. C.Chronic pain and negative emotions worsen each other. D.The new therapy is more effective than existing treatments. 2.How did Norman-Nott’s team prove the therapy’s effectiveness? A.By observing the usual treatment. B.By contrasting week 9 and week 21 results. C.By stopping usual treatments for participants. D.By comparing therapy and control group results. 3.Why is the therapy “promising” according to Benedict Alter? A.It provides training to the urban therapists. B.It focuses on in-person therapy improvements. C.It aids those with limited in-person care access. D.It equips patients in rural areas with internet skills. 4.What might the future studies focus on? A.Investigating how the therapy reduces pain. B.Comparing online therapy with in-person care. C.Analyzing the effects of the eight-week course. D.Testing the therapy on patients with intense pain. Passage 2 (24-25高二下·海南海口·期末)Music therapy started in the 20th century when musicians performed for veterans (老兵) in U.S. hospitals after the World Wars. In 1980, it was introduced to China. Now in places like hospitals and nursing homes for elderly, music therapy is being used to help people recover through sound and rhythm. Wang Hanlin, a young music therapist from Beijing Nursing Home, played the first notes of The Hello Song on his guitar and introduced himself with the lyrics: “Hello, my name is….” He invited Gu, his patient, an 80-year-old man with mild memory problems, to finish the sentence. With some encouragement, Gu slowly said his name. This moment was important because it showed he was starting to participate rather than just watch. It was a small but vital step in his recovery. Gu’s family had long been concerned about his memory loss, such as forgetting his own name or events that had happened that day. Despite his forgetfulness, they noticed something interesting — Gu would occasionally hum the tune of The Unfading Sun on the Grassland. The song had been his favorite when he worked in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region as a young man. Wang recognized the healing potential of this song, and after discussions with Gu’s family, he decided to design a music therapy plan centered around it. The young therapist presented Gu with images of blue skies, wide-open grasslands, galloping horses, and soaring birds. Each scene was linked to the song lyric. With Wang’s encouragement, Gu’s fragments of memories were triggered. “Blue skies, white clouds floating by,” Gu began to sing, his voice shaky at first, then gaining strength. With each session of the therapy, Gu’s ability to remember and sing the song’s lyrics improved. Over time, he could sing the entire song without hesitation. As Gu’s connection to the song deepened, something extraordinary began to happen: his memory, which had been confined to a few disjointed (脱节的) moments, began to expand. He started to recall more details, not just about the song, but about his entire life. The song unlocked a trove of forgotten memories, and enabled him to speak about important events from his past. “People often think music therapists just play songs and sing songs, but it’s far more intricate,” Wang explained. “We’re trained to assess the patients’ strengths and weaknesses and then design activities that target those areas, improving their cognitive ability and emotional health.” Elderly people often face the reality of aging — diseases, memory loss, emotional struggles, physical and spiritual pain. But people need to understand that there are non-drug interventions, like music therapy, that can be just as powerful in improving their health. Being a music therapist isn’t just about performing, but more about helping patients live a better life. 1.Who does Wang Hanlin help at work? A.Inexperienced nurses. B.Anxious parents of sick children. C.Elderly patients who suffer from aging. D.Musicians seeking to improve their skills. 2.What is a characteristic of Wang Hanlin’s job? A.He plays his favorite songs with his guitar. B.He teaches music theory to students at a university C.He focuses on performing concerts for large audiences. D.He makes special music therapy plans for each patient. 3.What does the underlined word “intricate” probably mean in paragraph 5? A.Simple and useful. B.Easy and interesting. C.Complicated and detailed. D.Amusing and exciting. 4.What benefit does music therapy bring? A.It replaces the need for medical treatment for some patients. B.It mainly serves as a form of entertainment for patients in hospitals. C.It allows patients to express emotions and improve cognitive ability. D.It helps patients forget their past experiences and focus on the present. Passage 3 (24-25高一下·湖北武汉·期末)A computer programme can identify breast cancer from routine scans with greater accuracy than human experts, researchers said in what they hoped could prove a breakthrough in the fight against the global killer. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women, with more than 2 million new diagnoses (诊断) last year alone. Regular screening is vital in detecting the earliest signs of the disease in patients who show no obvious symptoms. In Britain, women over 50 are advised to get a mammogram (X线照片) every three years, the results of which are analyzed by two independent experts. But interpreting the scans leaves room for error, and a small percentage of all mammograms either return a false positive-misdiagnosing a healthy’ patient as having cancer-or false negative-missing the disease as it spreads. Now researchers at Google Health have trained an artificial intelligence model to detect cancer in breast scans from thousands of women in Britain and the United States. The images had already been reviewed by doctors in real life but unlike in a clinical setting, the machine had no patient history to inform its diagnoses. The team found that their AI model could predict breast cancer from the scans with a greater accuracy than human expert doctors. Further, the AI showed a reduction in the percentage of cases where cancer was incorrectly identified — 5.7 percent in the US and 1.2 percent in Britain, respectively. It also reduced the percentage of missed diagnoses by 9.4 percent among US patients and by 2.7 percent in Britain. “The earlier you identify a breast cancer the better it is for the patient,” Dominic King, UK lead at Google Health, told AFP. “We think about this technology in a way that supports and enables an expert, or a patient finally, to get the best outcome from whatever diagnostics they’ve had.” 1.What do researchers hope the computer programme could prove to be in the fight against breast cancer? A.A new treatment method B.A breakthrough C.A replacement for human experts D.A way to reduce scan costs 2.What is the disadvantage of a mammogram? A.It must be programmed on a computer. B.Its results may be misread by doctors. C.It can’t find the earliest symptoms. D.It can only apply to women over 50. 3.What is known about AI in detecting breast cancer? A.It won’t face the patient to get information. B.It doesn’t need a mammogram to diagnose. C.It can’t predict more correctly than humans. D.It doesn’t give false positive or false negative. 4.What is Dominic King’s attitude to the AI model? A.Positive. B.Doubtful. C.Unconcerned. D.Conservative. Passage 4 (24-25高一下·湖南永州·期末)In the remote town of Yangla, located over 3,000 meters above sea level in the mountains of Diqing Tibetan autonomous prefecture (自治州), Yunnan province, 32-year-old doctor Nasheng is devoted to providing healthcare to more than 5,400 villagers. Nasheng graduated in Tibetan medicine from Qinghai University. “I saw how difficult it was for my fellow villagers to gain medical treatment in inland areas — long journeys, language barriers, and cultural differences made it even harder,” she said. This inspired her to study Tibetan medicine and return to serve her hometown. When she arrived at the Yangla town in September 2021, she was struck by the condition of the area. “I have to cross Baima Snow Mountain and follow a winding path along the Jinsha River,” she recalled. She lives in a small room inside the inpatient ward But despite the challenges, she has never thought of giving up. As a young doctor at the health center, Nasheng has gained valuable hands-on experience under her mentor’s guidance. “That moment made me realize just how much I still needed to learn in order to truly help people,” she said. In addition to treating patients, Nasheng continues to advance her medical skills. In 2024, she pursued further training at the Tibetan Traditional Hospital, where she majored in therapies (疗法) such as bloodletting and Tibetan stick therapy. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue her studies. “I want to pursue a master’s degree and learn more about acupuncture (针灸) techniques,” she said. “But no matter what, I’ll always come back — this is my home.” 1.What made Nasheng want to study Tibetan medicine? A.Expectations from her family. B.Her love for Tibetan medicine. C.Healthcare difficulties faced by the villagers. D.Her desire to return to serve her hometown. 2.What challenges did Nasheng face when working in Yangla? A.Tough conditions. B.Language barriers. C.Cultural differences. D.Limited medical equipment. 3.What can we learn from the passage? A.Villagers can see a doctor conveniently. B.Nasheng doesn’t stop improving her medical skills. C.Nasheng gained valuable experience in the university. D.It is easy for Nasheng to communicate with the villagers. 4.Which of the following words can best describe Nasheng? A.Ambitious and creative. B.Cautious and caring. C.Devoted and determined. D.Selfless and outgoing. Passage 5 (24-25高二下·山东临沂·期末)In the remote town of Yangla, located over 3,000 meters above sea level in the mountains of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, 32-year-old doctor Nasheng is devoted to providing healthcare to more than 5,400 villagers. Nasheng graduated in Tibetan medicine from Qinghai University in Qinghai Province. Her passion for the field was inspired after witnessing the difficulties faced by her fellow villagers. “I saw how difficult it was for my family to access medical treatment in inland areas — long journeys, language barriers, and cultural differences made it even harder,” she said. When she arrived at the Yangla Town health center in September 2021, she was struck by the isolation (隔绝) of the area. Her accommodation is a simple room inside the inpatient ward. Other than a barbecue restaurant, there are no other entertainment options in town. Although Yangla Town has a small population, its villages are spread across more than 1,000 square kilometers, often requiring several hours of travel by car to reach each one. This made Nasheng aware that even though the village had a health station, many residents still struggled to reach it due to the area’s vastness. “What if there were another station here?” she wondered. After submitting a proposal, and with support from the local government, a basic health station was established in June 2022. “Now the service station has moved into a new building, and a village doctor is seeing patients there,” Nasheng said. The Yangla Town health center also organizes mobile free clinics in different villages every month, supported by a committed team of over 20 staff members. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue her studies. “I want to pursue a master’s degree and learn more about acupuncture (针灸) techniques,” she said. “But no matter what, I’ll always come back — this is my home.” 1.What motivated Nasheng to study Tibetan medicine? A.Cultural differences. B.Healthcare challenges. C.Her family’s pressure. D.Fellow villagers’ poverty. 2.What can we know about Yangla Town? A.It is cut off from big cities. B.It is an entertainment center. C.It has various medical facilities. D.It has a concentrated population. 3.How did Nasheng improve healthcare? A.By launching an initiative. B.By training a medical team. C.By building a new health station. D.By organizing mobile free clinics. 4.What might be the best title for the text? A.Home Above 3,000 Meters B.Building Trust in a Remote Village C.The Challenges of Rural Medical Services D.Bringing Hope to a Remote Mountain Town Passage 6 (24-25高一下·湖南衡阳·期末)In the remote town of Yangla, nestled over 3,000 meters above sea level in the mountains of Diqing Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province, 32-year-old doctor Nasheng is dedicated to providing healthcare to more than 5,400 villagers. Nasheng graduated in Tibetan medicine from Qinghai University. Her passion for the field was ignited not only by a childhood fascination with traditional healing but also by the healthcare challenges faced by her fellow villagers. “I saw how difficult it was for my family to access medical treatment in inland areas — long journeys, language barriers, and cultural differences made it even harder,” she said, noting that many elderly villagers speak only Tibetan. This motivated her to study Tibetan medicine and return to serve her hometown. When she arrived at the Yangla town health center in September 2021, she was struck by the isolation of the area. Although her hometown of Yunling is in the same county, getting to Yangla takes a grueling seven-to-eight-hour drive. As a young doctor at the health center, Nasheng has gained invaluable hands-on experience with each patient she treats. She clearly remembers her first patient — an elderly man with severely deformed joints-for whom she performed her first joint injection under her mentor’s guidance. “That moment made me realize just how much I still needed to learn in order to truly help people,” she said. During her time in Yangla, Nasheng has built a strong connection with the locals. One moment that stood out was when an 80-year-old villager gave her some loquats as a gift. “Fruit is scarce here — I’ve only ever seen apples and walnuts,” Nasheng said. “She had picked them from a town at a lower altitude, knowing we rarely get a break or the chance to buy things from outside.” Looking ahead, she hopes to continue her studies. “But no matter what, I’ll always come back — this is my home.” 1.What motivated Nasheng to serve her hometown? Passage 7 (24-25高二下·山东泰安·期末)A boy couldn’t wear shoes until the age of 13 due to a childhood accident that left his foot seriously injured. He has recently undergone a life-changing surgery. Thanks to the floating medical charity Mercy Ships, Tera is now able to wear shoes for the first time and play football with his friends. From a fishing village in Madagascar, Tera’s family was unable to afford proper medical treatment after he accidentally tipped over a pot of boiling water onto his left leg at the age of one. He suffered third-degree burns, which caused his leg to grow attached to his ankle, making it difficult to walk and impossible to wear shoes. His family had previously sought help from three local traditional healers, each offering their own methods, but none of them proved effective. Later, his mother learned that the international hospital charity Mercy Ships had docked (停靠) its floating hospital, Africa Mercy, in Madagascar. After applying and strict pre-surgical screening, Tera was confirmed fit for surgery. So when volunteers from Mercy Ships informed Tera’s mother about the free surgery available on board, she wrapped Tera’s baby brother on her back and began a two-day journey with her children to reach the ship. Tera was given an appointment on the Africa Mercy and underwent surgery on June 27th,2024, to release the burn contracture (挛缩). He is now able to wear shoes for the first time since he was a baby. “He should have a normally functioning ankle now, which means he will be able to wear regular shoes and play like any other child,” said Dr. Venter, the physician who performed the operation. Before the surgery, Tera was often teased for going barefoot and couldn’t join his friends in football — his favorite sport. “Now I am happy,” he said. “My friends don’t make fun of me anymore. We all play together now.” Since the surgery, not only has Tera been making up for lost games on the pitch, he’s also been able to go fishing with his dad. 1.What made it difficult for Tera to walk or wear shoes? A.He injured his foot while fishing. B.He was born with a foot problem. C.He was badly burned by boiling water. D.His family didn’t treat his burns in time. 2.What did Tera’s family do before they found proper medical care? A.They thought home care might help. B.They waited for Mercy Ships to come. C.They visited different surgeons for treatment. D.They tried traditional methods that didn’t work. 3.What can be inferred about Mercy Ships from the text? A.It needs an appointment beforehand. B.It offers free treatment on board the ship. C.It sails around Africa offering medical care. D.It treats people only when docked at big cities. 4.Which of the following words can best describe Tera’s mother? A.Brave. B.Proud. C.Cautious. D.Persistent. 根据第三段第一句“After taking a degree at Chichester University in Related Arts, Ginni began to travel the world, eventually getting work teaching English in Japan and Chile.(在奇切斯特大学获得相关艺术学位后,Ginni开始周游世界,最终在日本和智利找到了教英语的工作。)” 故选A。 29. 根据第三段中的“And it was in Chile she discovered she could get last-minute cheap deals on ships going to Antarctica from the islands off Tiera del Fuego. 根据最后一段“The realization that this is a precious land, to be respected by humans, was one of the biggest things that hit home to Ginni. 通读全文可知,文章主要讲述了Ginni Bazlinton去南极旅行的经历,再根据第一段“These gentle lovely gatekeepers welcomed her and kick-started what was to be a trip Ginni would never forget. 由此可知,An unforgettable experience. B。 1. 根据第二段““Chronic pain is more than a sensory experience; it’s incredibly emotional,” says Nell Norman-Nott at the University of New South Wales, Australia. “We see increased levels of anxiety and depression in up to about 80 percent of people with chronic pain.” This leads to a “vicious cycle”, where pre-pain increases negative emotions, which then worsen pain, she says. 根据第三段“To see if they could break the cycle, Norman-Nott and her team used a programme that focused on mindfulness, emotion regulation and pain tolerance. Eighty-nine people with chronic pain, lasting 16 years on average, were randomised to receive either the programme, delivered by a therapist through an eight-week online course, while continuing with any treatments they were already receiving, such as medication or physical therapy, or to just continue with their usual treatment. 以及第四段“Nine weeks later, those in the therapy group experienced an improvement in emotional regulation of about 5 points more than those in the control group. The intensity of their pain also started to lessen at week 9, and by 21 weeks they experienced significantly less pain than those in the control group. 根据第五段““I think that’s interesting and promising,” says Benedict Alter at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It could also help people with limited access to inperson care, he says. “It’s great that they did this as internet-based. It’s a huge problem that there are small numbers of providers who do therapy, and they tend to be in urban areas.” 根据最后一段“Exactly how the therapy reduces pain is unclear, says Alter, but “at any given pain intensity, if you had better emotional regulation, people’s overall lives would be better: less suffering, less functional limitation. I think pain intensity decreases as everything gets better.” The mechanism could be uncovered in larger studies, he says.(Alter说,这种疗法究竟是如何减轻疼痛的还不清楚,但“在任何给定的疼痛强度下,如果你的情绪调节得更好,人们的整体生活就会更好:痛苦更少,功能限制更少。 故选A项。 Passage 2 (24-25高二下·海南海口·期末)Music therapy started in the 20th century when musicians performed for veterans (老兵) in U.S. hospitals after the World Wars. 根据文章第二段中的“Wang Hanlin, a young music therapist from Beijing Nursing Home, (Wang Hanlin,一位来自北京养老院的年轻音乐治疗师)”以及后文“He invited Gu, his patient, an 80-year-old man with mild memory problems, to finish the sentence. 根据文章第三段中的“Wang recognized the healing potential of this song, and after discussions with Gu’s family, he decided to design a music therapy plan centered around it.(Wang看到了这首歌的治愈作用,于是与Gu家进行了商讨,最终决定围绕这首歌制定一套音乐治疗方案。)” D“He makes special music therapy plans for each patient.(他为每位病人制定特殊的音乐治疗计划)”符合题意。故选D。 3. 根据文章第五段中的“People often think music therapists just play songs and sing songs, but it’s far more intricate (人们通常认为音乐治疗师只是播放歌曲和演唱歌曲而已,但实际上其工作远比这要…… 根据文章倒数第三段中的“With each session of the therapy, Gu’s ability to remember and sing the song’s lyrics improved. Over time, he could sing the entire song without hesitation. As Gu’s connection to the song deepened, something extraordinary began to happen: his memory, which had been confined to a few disjointed (脱节的) moments, began to expand.(随着每一次治疗的进行,Gu先生记忆和哼唱歌曲歌词的能力都有所提高。 以及倒数第二段中的“We’re trained to assess the patients’ strengths and weaknesses and then design activities that target those areas, improving their cognitive ability and emotional health.(我们接受过相关培训,能够评估患者的优缺点,然后设计针对性的活动来提升这些方面的能力,从而提高他们的认知能力和心理健康水平。)” Passage 3 (24-25高一下·湖北武汉·期末)A computer programme can identify breast cancer from routine scans with greater accuracy than human experts, researchers said in what they hoped could prove a breakthrough in the fight against the global killer. 【答案】1.B 2.B 3.A 4.A 【导语】本文是一篇说明文。 根据第一段“A computer programme can identify breast cancer from routine scans with greater accuracy than human experts, researchers said in what they hoped could prove a breakthrough in the fight against the global killer.(研究人员称,一种计算机程序可以通过常规扫描识别出乳腺癌,其准确性比人类专家更高。 根据第三段“In Britain, women over 50 are advised to get a mammogram (X线照片) every three years, the results of which are analyzed by two independent experts.
