·1.从句位置(主句前后)
1.从句位于主句之后(无逗号分隔)
-结构:主句+when+时间状语从句
一例句:
*口She was cooking when the doorbell rang..(主句在前,描述“正在做饭”时“门铃响了”)
*口They will start the meeting when he arrives.(主句在前,说明“他到达时”会议开始)
2.从句位于主句之前(需加逗号分隔主句)
-结构:When+时间状语从句,+主句
一例句:
*口hen I was young,I often played in the park.(从句在前,逗号后接主句,描述“小时候”的
常态)
*口When the rain stops,we will go out for a walk.(从句在前,逗号分隔,表“雨停后”的计划)

1.主句为一般过去时,从句常用一般过去时(同时发生的动作)
一例句:
*口I saw him when I walked in the street yesterday.(主句saw是过去时,从句walked也是过去
时,表“同时发生”)
*口They talked happily when they waited for the bus.(主句talked是过去时,从句waited也是
过去时,动作同时进行)
2.主句为一般过去时,从句用过去进行时(主句动作发生时,从句动作正在进行)
一例句:

过去进行时,表“正在洗澡时电话响了”)
*口He came in when we were having dinner.(主句came是过去时,从句were having是过去进

3.主句为一般将来时,从句用一般现在时(主将从现,表将来时间条件)
一例句:
*口I will call you when I get to Beijing.(主句will call是将来时,从句get用一般现在时表将来,“到
达北京后打电话”)
*口They will plant trees when spring comes.(主句will plant是将来时,从句comes用一般现在
时,“春天来时种树”)
4.主句为现在进行时,从句用一般现在时(表客观规律或常态时间)
-例句:

从句s是一般现在时,描述“老师在时学生安静”的常态)
*口Birds sing loudly when the sun rises every morning.(主句sing是一般现在时表常态,从句

知识点三:when引导时间状语从句的特殊用法与易混点
·1.when与while的区别(中考高频考点)
1.主短从长(主句短暂性动词,从句延续性动词用while/when):
-例句:The phone rang when/while I was washing dishes.(洗盘子是延续性动作,电话响是短暂动
作)
2.主长从短(主句延续性动词,从句短暂性动词只能用when):
-例句:I was washing dishes when the phone rang.(不可用while,因rang是短暂性动词)
3.两者同时延续(可用while或when+进行时):
-例句:While/When I was reading,my brother was listening to music.

1.主现完从过(主句现在完成时,从句一般过去时):

1.主从句主语一致且含be动词时省略主语+be:

1.when引导时间状语从句vs宾语从句:
-时间状语从句(表“当…时”):I will tell you when he comes.(he comes是从句,主句“我会
